The heiress was snapped with a noticeable bulge in the gut yesterday when she arrived at a Los Angeles mall to film a segment for the TV show Extra.

Now don't get us wrong, we're not saying Paris looks 'fat' – we've just never seen her with anything but a washboard-flat tummy and scary protruding hip bones. 

Naturally the pregnancy rumours have already started – the 30-year-old is currently dating Hangover Part II director Todd Phillips - but it's possible her man could be the cause of her belly for a whole other reason - the couple were spotted out for dinner the night before these pics were taken and Paris was tucking into… shock, horror… lasagne.

Could this just be an example of what happens when a celebrity actually eats carbs?

Bollywood cancels big events following Mumbai blasts

Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani were ready with the first look of " Don 2: The Chase Continues" and Mahesh Bhatt was set to celebrate the success of " Murder 2" Wednesday evening, but the filmmakers cancelled their plans following three bomb blasts in Mumbai, which killed over 20 people.

The launch of the first look of the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer "Don 2" was to be held 7.45 p.m. onwards at Cinemax, Andheri West, while the success party for Mohit Suri's directorial "Murder 2" was scheduled for 9 p.m. at the J.W. Marriot hotel in Juhu.

The first blast took place at Zaveri Bazar at 6.59 p.m, followed by a second blast at Opera House at 7.05 p.m, and the final explosion took place at Dadar West at 7.17 p.m., causing panic and chaos in the city.

The incessant rains added to the dilemma of city dwellers.

However, a few print and electronic journalists had already gathered at Cinemax, Andheri West to catch a glimpse of "Don 2", one of the most awaited movies this year.

Producer Ritesh Sidhwani was there too, but he approached the mediapersons, and said: "Due to the blast, we have decided to call off the event."

No further date for the event has been issued as yet.

The "Murder 2" success party, which was expected to be attended by lead pair Emraan Hashmi and Jacqueline Fernandes, apart from director Mohit Suri, other crew members and celebrities from the film industry, was also cancelled as the news of the blasts flashed everywhere, and a high alert was issued.

In New Delhi, Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai requested officials of the French government to postpone an award ceremony where she was supposed to be honoured with a "Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters".

However, Aishwarya appeared before the media along with her actor-husband Abhishek Bachchan and observed a minute-long silence mourning the death of the people in the blasts.

Your last birthday was celebrated while shooting for this film in Spain
Yea! I was away from home with just the film's cast and crew. We went out for a dinner to a Spanish restaurant. And coincidentally the film is now releasing on the eve of my birthday.

Any special birthday plans this year?
It all depends on what happens to the film. I am really hoping and praying it does well.

What is your idea of living zindagi to the fullest?
Balancing what is the right thing to do and what you really want to do! Balancing what you want and what is expected out of you! I think a lot of us make decisions of what is expected from us and not from what we want. There is no point in working so hard and not being happy.

But you seem to have worked real hard on this film and mastered outdoor sports like dirt-biking and scuba diving.
I have ridden bikes before. But the bike in this film was much heavier and bigger. So I had to train in between the shooting days in Spain. For scuba- diving, I trained in the pool for 4-5 days but when we went on location, we were shooting in the sea which was very rough, choppy and a different experience. That's when I realized I hadn't trained enough.

Any moment of adventure that scared you?
On one of the diving days I went completely out of control, because you get pushed around under the water. You can't come up quickly to the top. That was probably the scariest moment for me.

Did you miss trying your hands at sky-diving that the boys do in the film?
I am very lucky and privileged that I was not required for sky-diving. I am not sure if I would have done that.

What happens to your plans of riding a bike across Mumbai streets?
I do want to ride a bike but riding in and around Mumbai would not be much fun because you don't want people to keep following you on the roads. But maybe I can find another place to ride and that would be fun.

How was the experience of getting dirty with tomatoes?
Oh, the Tomatina festival is exactly like what Holi is for us. It happens in Spain every year where everyone plays music on streets, there's water, there's dancing and there's this whole playing with the tomatoes thing. It took us three days to shoot the song and it felt kind of gross after a while. But it was fun.

What is the craziest thing that you would want to do in life?
Crazy doesn't have to mean jump out of an airplane. It doesn't mean Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara toh jump out of an airplane or go scuba-diving or do something crazy. It's also about the decisions you make in life. If you are under pressure to get married just because you are not going to live your life again, you shouldn't be doing that. If you are in a job you hate, you shouldn't be doing that. If you only think about money, you need to re-look at that a bit. It's not just about the adventure it's kind of a paradox.

Would you call ZNMD a road film?
I don't know what a road film means. Every film needs to have a setting the road trip is just incidental to the film. This film is shot in Spain where they are on a road journey.

With ZNMD primarily being a film about male-bonding, how much scope do you have in the film?
Well, the story is primarily about these three boys, their journey in their life and the decisions they make. It's like a coming-of-age film. What worked for me is that I absolutely loved the film and wanted to be a part of it. It doesn't matter if I am there in every scene or not.

And really hats off to Hrithik, Farhan and Abhay to do this film together. They are all stars in their own right and do different kinds of cinema. But they still came together and put aside things like who has more lines and who has more scenes. It would have been very difficult to get three girls to do a film like this.

So did you and Kalki have problems with each other?
It is so unfair on Kalki. She is such a sweet little girl and new in the industry. It's not right to picture her like that and throw her into the deep end.

Who, do you think, is the hottest amongst Hrithik, Abhay, Farhan?
Two of them are happily married and the third is happily taken, so I will save my opinion.

Is your screen-chemistry with Hrithik, the best you ever shared with an actor?
That is not for me to say. The audience's decision is always right in that context.

Finally which is the weirdest rumour you have heard about yourself?
I have lost count. And it doesn't matter anymore.

Raveena packs a punch in Alert

Kajal's proud of being a South Indian actress

Actress Kajal Aggarwal is amazed by the reports about her South Indian film career. Kajal, who makes her Bollywood debut with Singham, has no plans to quit South Indian films and settle in Bollywood completely.

In her recent interview she explained about the reports that hurt her fans' feelings. I never said I don't consider myself a South Indian actress, I very much do. I am proud to be a South Indian actress. That's where I started out from. I am what I am today thanks to South. My loyalty definitely lies with South, declared the actress reacting on the rumours spread about her.

The actress also clarified that Bollywood won't make her shift focus from South films and she will continue doing them. Kajal informed that she was in Germany shooting for a Telugu film Dhada when these rumours started.

Speaking about relocating to Bombay the actress said, I live in Bombay so there's no question of shifting base when I am from Bombay. She also informed about her forthcoming film which includes Puri Jagannath's Telugu film The Businessman where she will be seen opposite Mahesh Babu.

Apart from that she has signed a Tamil action film Maatran opposite Suriya. Her Telugu film Dhada stars Nag Chaitanya in lead role.

Refusing to endorse the indomitable spirit and resilience of the city, everyone's seeking justice and answers from the central government, Mumbai police and Maharashtra government.

'Shoot in Goa, get tax relief'

In a bid to promote Goa as a film shooting destination, the state government is working on a tax relief scheme which aims to refund entertainment tax back to filmmakers, an official said Thursday.
"What it (scheme) envisages is that the tax which the filmmakers have to incur on say film shoots in terms of accommodation and travel can be refunded to some extent. All that the filmmaker will have to do is submit bills," said Dilip Borkar, member of Entertainment Society of Goa (ESG) formed by the state government for the promotion of films.

Filmmakers can thus recover a part of the taxes, Borkar said. The rebate under the proposed scheme would go well up to 50 percent, he added.

Goa, which hosts the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) annually, has been home to several high budget film shoots in recent times like Vikram Bhatt's " Murder 2", Rohan Sippy's "Dum Maaro Dum" and Rohit Shetty's yet to be released " Singham".

When contacted, ESG chief executive officer Manoj Srivastava said the scheme was currently under consideration of the government.

"Our aim is to help lure filmmakers and investment into the state. Currently it is under the consideration of the Goa government. The scheme is still at the proposal stage and is subject to government approval and it is too early to speak about it," Srivastava said.

Shahid Kapoor, Sonam bury the hatchet

Actors Sonam Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor were known not to be the best of friends while shooting for 'Mausam'. For starters, Sonam refused to do a kissing scene for the movie, and is known to have had a problem with the schedules and time lines.

However, with the film nearing its released date, Shahid and Sonam Kapoor seem to have kissed and made up. The two are have been extremely cordial with each other. While Sonam said that she got along fantastically with her male co-star, Shahid is all praise for the lady's sens of fashion, and insists that she has made him more fashion conscious.

With the trailers of 'Mausam' having gone on air, it's good that both SKs have put their differences behind, and are on the same page.

Mariah Carey doesn't want more kids

Mariah Carey is "done" with having children.

The 41-year-old singer - who gave birth to twins Moroccan Scott and Monroe in April - has threatened to "kill" husband Nick Cannon if he makes her give birth again.

He said: "I want some (more), but I think my wife's done. I tried to say, 'Yo, let's go for another round!' and she's like, 'I'll kill you!'"

In celebration of the birth of the twins, the TV presenter gave his wife a pink and white diamond necklace to commemorate the happy occasion.

Speaking to TV show 'Extra', Nick added: "It says Moroccan and Monroe in pink and white diamonds. My wife has so much jewellery, so I've got to be really creative when I give gifts."

However, the 'America's Got Talent' host admitted the tots are both living up to their names, with his son adopting a "tough" character and his daughter already showing "diva" tendencies.

Nick, 30, said: "My son Roc lives up to his name. He's a tough guy. He's already crawling. And then my daughter, she's just a diva."

Miranda Kerr names son after late boyfriend

Supermodel Miranda Kerr has named her son Flynn Christopher Blanchard Copeland Bloom after her late boyfriend Christopher Middlebrook, who died in an car accident as a teenager. 

"Chris and I had been dating for two years. After he died, I wrote him a letter that said I hoped to name my first child after him in some way. I told Orlando (Bloom), and he was the one who said he'd be happy to do that. 

Orlando's a good guy," she told Australia's the Daily Telegraph. Kerr also says that her son has inherited his good looks from his actor-dad Bloom, reports people.com. "He looks exactly like Orlando did when he was a baby. His character is developing every day.

He's content and, even though he's teething, you can see he's calm," she said.

Danielle Lloyd welcomes a baby boy

English glamour model Danielle Lloyd has given birth to her second son, 10 weeks before the due date. 

Lloyd, 27, and fiance Jamie O'Hara welcomed a boy, this Wednesday. "Lloyd has delivered our baby this morning 4lb 4oz, 10 weeks early. Baby and dan are ok just letting the hospital look after him (sic)"Jamie posted on micro-bloggin site Twitter. The couple already have a son, Archie.

Emma Watson parties at pole dancing club

"Harry Potter" actress Emma Watson partied at a pole dancing club to celebrate the end of the popular film franchise. 

Watson, who played Hermione Granger in the movie, went to the club after the final premiere for "Deathly Hallows: Part 2", which is the last of the "Harry Potter" films, reports thesun. "She was really enjoying herself. There were a few scantily-clad girls around but Emma didn't bat an eyelid. There are a few poles in the club but she didn't have a go. After such a big night, it's no wonder she wanted to let her hair down," said a source. She danced the night away with friends. "She had a smile on her face the whole time before calling it a night around 2 a.m.," added the source. The actress was just 11 when she starred in " Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" and was 12 when she featured in the "Chamber of Secrets".

Rupert Grint missing 'Harry Potter' sets

Actor Rupert Grint misses being on the set of "Harry Potter" because it had become his second home. Grint played Ron Weasley in the wizard movie franchise since he was 11. 

He is devastated that " Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2" is the final film in the series because he grew up on the sets in Leavesden Studios in Hertfordshire, South East England. "(I'll miss) the people, the friendships, the memories, and the place - just going to the same place everyday. It became a second home.

I remember packing everything up in the last few weeks and finding toys and birthday cards from when I was 13 and 14,"femalefirst quoted the 22-year-old as saying. "I never imagined I'd be here 10 years later talking about the eighth film. It just seems so surreal. It's been so much fun. I really am truly going to miss it," he added.

Gerard Butler honoured at Ischia Film Fest

Scottish actor Gerard Butler has received the highest accolade at Ischia Film Festival. Dailystar reports that the 41-year-old was given the actor of the year award Monday. 

The actor has just completed filming of two movies which are set to be released this year - "Machine Gun Preacher" and "Movie 43". Butler was previously honoured by the event's organisers in 2004, when he landed the best new actor trophy. The film festival flagged off July 10 and will run until July 17.

Singer-turned-fashion designer Victoria Beckham wants her baby daughter Harper Seven to grow up to be a "perfect English rose" just like Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge. 

Victoria gave birth to Harper Seven, her first daughter with husband David Beckham, in Los Angeles, this Sunday. "Everyone has fallen in love with Kate Middleton. She's gorgeous, stylish, speaks well and has perfect manners, all the qualities that Victoria will wish for Harper," femalefirst quoted a source as saying. "Victoria will want her daughter to grow up to become a perfect English rose, with a gorgeous posh accent and definitely not like some spoilt Hollywood brat," the source added. David and Victoria , who attended the royal wedding on April 29, have also invited Prince William and Princess Catherine to come and meet the Harper next time they visit Britain. "David and Victoria are so proud of their little daughter. As soon as they are next in Hertfordshire at Beckingham Palace they want the duke and duchess to come and see Harper. It'll be a special moment for David and Victoria," the source said.

Pregnant Emily Deschanel goes vegan

Actress Emily Deschanel, who is married to actor David Hornsby, has adopted a new vegan diet as she is expecting her first child. 

"What we want to do is give the body just enough energy so that it performs well. She loves nut, butters and sometimes we'll do fun smoothies, especially if she's at work. We'll take coconut water, nut butter, and berries and make a smoothie so she's got something to sustain her energy in a liquid form," Deschanel's dietitian Ashley Koff told people.com. The baby is due later this year.

Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie to tie the knot

If reports are to be believed then, Hollywood's most glamorous couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have finally decided to tie the knot for the sake of their children.

According to the reports in the U.S, after spending six years together and having six children, the couple is said to be planning an 'intimate and informal' wedding in the South of France.

The ceremony would be very different from the lavish 600,000 pounds nuptials when Pitt wed 'Friends' star Jennifer Aniston in 2000.

US Weekly magazine has said that the 'I do's' could take place at their recently renovated Chateau Miravel mansion in Correns, France, which has privacy gates and its own 16th century chapel, reports the Daily Mail.

It insisted that three separate sources have confirmed there would be a summer wedding "within the next few months".

The other report In Touch magazine also claimed that the couple was preparing for a 'secret wedding' in France after their children pushed them to make their long-term relationship official.

The magazine claimed Jolie would be wearing a L'Wren Scott gown and her brother, James Haven, would officiate at the ceremony.

Both publications said the couple was bowing to the wishes of children Maddox, 9, Pax, 7, Zahara, 6, Shiloh, 5, and three-year-old twins Vivienne and Know.

Daisy Lowe to pose naked for Playboy

Daisy Lowe is set to appear naked in Playboy.

The 22-year-old model - who has previously posed for fashion publications Vogue and W - will strip off in an eight-page spread in the September edition of the iconic men's magazine, which is set to be released on August 12.

Daisy - who is currently dating 'Doctor Who' actor Matt Smith - will travel to editor Hugh Hefner's famous Playboy Mansion for the photo shoot.

The beautiful brunette - who is the daughter of musician-turned-designer Pearl Lowe and Bush rocker Gavin Rossdale - previously posed topless for the 2010 Pirelli Calendar and admitted she found the sexy shoot liberating.

She said: "It was quite freeing, being able to be naked for a week."

Daisy has previously explained being "sexy" is a "big part" of her identity, and she believes it is empowering for women to be in control of their sexuality.

She said: "I suppose I've been very in touch with the 'sexy' thing since I was 15.

"I guess it's a big part of my identity, something that I have learnt to switch into. It's because I'm a girl's girl. I'm not the bitchy girl who's trying to make your boyfriend fancy me. The only reason I ever 'do' sexy is because I like to encourage women to feel sexy about themselves."
