Actress Neha Dhupia, who shot into limelight with her infamous quote "Only sex and Shah Rukh sell in Bollywood," does not regret doing sleazy flicks like Julie.

Neha will be seen in Singh is Kinng releasing on August 8. "I am the only girl in the gang of Punjab operating in Australia. When the story was narrated to me, I was excited. The film is funny but the characters are not funny people," she added.

"I do not believe in looking back and talk about what has happened. I want to look ahead where I have got my hands full with good films. I do not regret doing Julie. But, looking back is no solution. I can only learn from the past," Neha told PTI here on Friday.

Neha said in Maharathi she plays a role with grey shades. The other actors in the movie are Naseeruddin Shah, Boman Irani and Paresh Rawal. she added iliked the script very much and was not new to comedy having done films like Chup Chupke and Kya Kool Hai Hum.
Neha said her performances in films like Ek Chalis ki local and Mithya did not go unnoticed. "Even though they did not do well at the box office, the films and her performance were noticed and it was quite heartening," she said.

Regarding Singh is Kinng, Neha said her character dreams of being a Bollywood actress. "All her dialogues are full of film titles. Her dreams are not fulfilled, but she continues to do what she wants," Neha said.

"Besides, there are two films with Percept Picture Company and Saurabh Shukla's untitled film with Vinay Pathak. "I have my hands full," she said.

Having seen for a number of years the respect with which the film industry looks upon actors like Naseerdudin Shah, Om Puri etc. and the immense talent for which these stalwarts are famous for the apprehension of a new actor having a scene to act with these stalwarts can be very well assumed.

Neha Dhupia has got a very good role with enough substance to showcase her skills in the film 'Maharathi' in which she portrays the role of the young wife of a failed film producer played by Mr.Shah. In the particular scene Neha had to scream and rant at Naseeruddin Shah. Neha found it very difficult to do it in front of Mr. Shah but managed to carry it off exactly as the director wanted her to do. On the other hand the moment the director said cut, Naseer became the usual jolly and relaxed person that he is known as while Neha took time and struggled to come out of the hangover.

Neha dhupia is not in hurry for marriage

Even though sexy Neha Dhupia has been dating squash champion Ritwik Bhattarcharya for quite some time now, she refuses to talk about marriage.

Marriage is not on the cards at all. Right now it is only work for me." She maintains, "There was a great deal of speculation about us, but initially I did not want to say anything. The very mention of an engagement makes me swallow hard!” says the actress.”Nah, there will definitely be no such thing for a long, long time.

But later I felt that as it is there is a price to pay — our private lives are continuously in the open — so I thought why resort to the clichéd responses? I felt no longer uncool to admit our relationship."

The couple who have kept their two-year-old romance under wraps have finally decided to go public with their relationship. “There has been a lot of speculation in the press about our relationship. There were stories about us not being together,” says Neha to which Ritwik adds, “People who needed to know always knew about our relationship. Also, now we are more comfortable with each other. So, I guess this is the right time to talk about our relationship.”

The couple, who cannot agree on the circumstances surrounding their first meeting (she says, it was at the Defence Services Officers Institute in Delhi; he says, she walked off when a friend introduced him) tell PEOPLE of how they grew in love as they saw each other through ups and downs, wins and losses, sickness and health.

On past relationships

Neha: We’ve seen each other through different relationships. It was all cool. Looking back, it feels really strange. I’m the same girl who until about four years ago would step out of the room to give him and his girlfriend ‘alone time’.
