Kate Moss London mansion on sale for $11m

Melbourne, March 9 – Supermodel Kate Moss has put her luxury London mansion on sale for 11 million dollars.

According to the Daily Mail, the 37-year-old is reportedly struggling to sell the massive property despite the sleek renovation and even slashing 1million dollar from the asking price to tempt would-be buyers, reports Perth Now.

The five-bedroom house features such essentials as a neon-lit party area, raised roof terrace and two guest cloakrooms.

Moss is said to have paid 12 million dollars for the place back in 2007 before the UK housing market hit the skids.

But it hasn’t all be plain sailing for her since buying the property.

The house has been burgled with thieves making off with a 115,000-dollar portrait of the supermodel by graffiti artist Banksy; flooded by sewage causing 140,000 dollars worth of damage; and needed to exorcised after she became convinced that malevolent spirits were haunting the place.

Meanwhile the model and her rocker fiance Jamie Hince are said to have set their sights on a 13 million dollars nine bedroom property in the ultra exclusive suburb of Highgate. (ANI)

Lisa Ray to open yoga studio in Toronto

Marriage seems to be the last thing on actor Lisa Ray’s mind. Not only does she have big career plans for this year, she is also set to open a yoga studio in Toronto, the work for which is in full-throttle at the moment.

Yoga, it must be mentioned, provided Lisa with tremendous emotional, spiritual and physical solace during her prolonged illness and recovery last year. And now, she is ready to share her yoga knowledge with the world.

Lisa says there’s no room for marriage in her life right now.

‘This news has come completely out of left field. It was most unexpected! I’d love to clarify matters as I’m working on projects in India and don’t want my work colleagues out in India to get the impression that I’m not committed to my projects and work out there,’ she told IANS.

Asked about the status of her relationship with her faithful companion Brett Wilson, she replied: ‘The point is, marriage is not on the cards. The news that came out is unfounded. I am very good friends with Brett and I described marriage as an ‘imperfect institution’ to make light of the situation, not to make light of marriage.’

Lisa said she was excited about her projects this year.

‘I’m opening a hot yoga studio here in Brampton, Canada. There’s so much to look forward to this year. Every day is a blessing. I was recently at the Toronto Film Critics Association dinner where I was surrounded with love and compliments on my ’second coming’ (the near-death illness).

‘I’m working on a kick-ass series for TLC. Finalising some film projects soon. Involved in another momentous stem-cell event in Toronto. Life is grand. I’m so blessed to live and work in two different worlds,’ she said.

She candidly admitted “We all know what ‘Murder’ did for Mallika… It’s natural that people will make comparisons and it’s also natural that it will make me quite nervous and put me under pressure.”

The motorcycle entrepreneur was divorced by Oscar-winning actress Sandra Bullock last year after the reports of his affair with tattoo model Michelle McGee surfaced.

‘You know sometimes the public and press gets it wrong. This is one of those times. 2010 was actually the best year of my life because I fell in love with my best friend. An amazing woman who stood behind me when the world turned their backs,’ femalefirst.co.uk quoted James as saying.

‘I have never met anyone so kind and loving and committed to making the world a better place every day. My love for her is beyond description. So honoured that she said ‘yes.’ Growing old with her is going to be a f***in’ blast,’ he said.

Aniston wants to remake ‘The Graduate’ with Pattinson

Jennifer Aniston

Actress Jennifer Aniston wishes to star alongside Robert Pattinson in the remake of “The Graduate”.

The former “Friends” star is reportedly asking her agents to set up a meeting with the “Twilight” star.

“Jen’s a huge fan of ‘The Graduate’. It’s one of her favourite films and she would love to do a new version of it,” dailystar.co.uk quoted a source as saying.

The original 1967 film starred actor Dustin Hoffman as a college graduate who is seduced by an older woman, played by Anne Bancroft.

“Jen thinks she and Rob would be the perfect duo to recreate the highly sexual roles,” said an insider.

“This film would allow Jen to do something raunchy and sophisticated after all the romantic comedies she’s done and would give Rob the chance to move on to more grown-up roles after ‘Twilight’,” the insider said.

“Jen is very excited at the prospect of teaming up with Rob. She loves his brooding good looks and just adores his English accent. She thinks there is no one more perfect to cast opposite her,” the insider added.
