Malaika Arora Khan is back With an Item Number in 'Housefull 2'

After the success of 'Munni', actor Malaika Arora Khan has been in great demand for doing item numbers. The actor, who has always been a favourite with film makers when it comes to item numbers has been getting a lot of offers post her 'Munni' act in Dabangg.

She has been consciously avoiding all the offers coming her way but looks she has now decided on her next item number. Malaika will soon scorch the screen in a song for producer Sajid Nadiadwala’s Housefull 2 to be directed by Sajid Khan.

Recreating the 'Chaiyya Chaiyya' and 'Munni Badnam Hui' magic, the song will again be choreographed by Farah Khan. A source close to the actor says, “This will be the third song that Malaika and Farah will work on together. They’ve done 'Chaiyya Chaiyya' and 'Munni Badnam', both of which were the biggest chartbusters. Since they have already done so well, they are now aiming to outdo themselves with the number in Housefull 2.”

Malaika too who had her reservations about the offers coming her way, green lighted the song when she heard the concept. She is apparently very excited about the song and is hoping she is able to create the same magic that 'Munni' created on screen.

Confirming this, director Sajid Khan says, “For me Malaika is the best choice for my item song as there is no one better than her for the concept of the song. Also she and Farah have a superb track record of blockbuster songs whenever they’ve done a song together”

The producers too are super happy that she will be doing the item song as that is going to be the highlight of the film. A source from the production house says, “Malaika is like family to us and we are really privileged that she has agreed to do the song. We are hoping the song does really well.”

Top 10 Hottest Legs in Bollywood of hottest Bollywood Actress

Bollywood is no longer the home of those sari-clad women who were too modest show even a bit of skin and kept themselves running around trees and bushes.

The current crop of actresses live with a dare-to-bare attitude and are seen running around in sunny beaches with the skimpiest of outfits. And since the outfits get tinier every time, it allows us to scan who has the best bod in the business.

Here is our list of the Top 10 actresses who, we think, have the hottest pair of legs in Bollywood.

10. Kareena Kapoor

Though she was the proud owner of thunder thighs during the earlier part of her career, she must've realized that it wouldn't take her too far in her Bollywood journey. She soon shed all those pounds and transformed into the 'size-zero' queen of Bollywood that made every other actress see green. Today, her legs are so in shape that she could give some of the top models a good run for their money.

Take a look at how she keeps herself in shape with Kareena Kapoor's Size Zero Secrets.

9. Katrina Kaif

Katrina Kaif is an actress who has never been out of shape. She has always maintained an hourglass figure which looks even better post 'Tees Maar Khan'. Her milky white legs are a treat for our eyes while the length also adds to its appeal.

8. Jacqueline Fernandez

Sri Lankan import, Jacqueline Fernandez wowed the audience with her scintillating moves and plenty of leg show in 'Murder 2'. In fact, those beautiful golden legs almost took away the glory from her stunning face. Its hard to decide what we like more about her– her face or her legs.

7. Jiah Khan

While we don't exactly remember how she performed in her first film, we definitely haven't forgotten how gorgeous her long legs looked on the screen. 'Nishabd' might have been panned by all critics but we're very sure that they, and a lot other men, couldn't have stopped dreaming about Jiah (and her legs) despite the bad performance.

6. Neha Dhupia

Neha is known for her curvy figure that looks beautiful in every frame. Almost everything about Neha Dhupia's figure is beautiful and special honor can be bestowed upon her legs. Neha can surely boast of having one of the best gams in B-town, if not of anything else.

5. Malaika Arora Khan

Yes, we all know that Malaika has always had one of the hottest bodies in Bollywood and her legs surely play a vital role in it. Its a known fact that everyone wants a piece of Malaika's luscious legs but we think that even Malaika herself loves her legs as she can never resist showing them off.

4. Priyanka Chopra

Our favourite, Piggy Chops has also been an actress who has always kept herself in great shape. Her toned legs are her assets and we got to see plenty of it in 'Dostana'. Priyanka also loves to flaunt her legs and guys and girls love to gape at them.

3. Bipasha Basu

Bipasha Basu was chosen to endorse a particular brand of shoes, which claim to help tone the legs. Now you don't wanna ask why they chose Bips over her contemporaries. Its for the simple reason that Bips is a gymming enthusiast and always ensures that her legs are super toned.

2. Deepika Padukone

Deepika's legs were glorified long before she entered Bollywood. She had one of the best pair even amongst the top models of the country. Deepika easily swayed her way to the top, in Bollywood, but her contemporaries haven't been able to match up to her gams, which are still in top shape.

1. Shilpa Shetty

What can we say about the woman who holds the top spot in the list? Shilpa Shetty is the Goddess of hotness. Irrespective of her Big Brother controversy or involvement with Rajasthan Royals, our attention has always been loyal to Shilpa's hot-bod, esp. her tiny waist and long legs. Her legs have always remained shapely and sexy unlike her nose which needed a lot of fixing.

When Malaika & Arbaaz Khan got naughty in public

Whatever might be going on in their personal lives, Bollywood’s original item babe Malaika Arora-Khan and producer hubby Arbaaz Khan, recently spent some romantic time together in Toronto where they had gone to attend an event. Arbaaz actually took wifey Malaika out for a romantic lunch date to the famous CN Towers in Canada which is 1800 ft above the ground. According to sources, the two even spent some rather romantic moments there and were least bothered about onlookers.

“It was during IIFA when Malaika and Arbaaz decided to gaze at the Toronto skyline from the CN Towers. Suddenly a few TV cameras approached them, but the two took them on sportingly. Malaika too suddenly decided to pose like Rose (Kate Winslet’s character from Titanic) with Arbaaz posing as Jack (Leonardo DiCaprio’s character in the same movie). They happily posed for the camera and seem to be enjoying every bit of their lunch,” says an onlooker.

Recently, both Arbaaz and Malaika were upset with rumours about their marriage being in trouble. The rumours included talks of Malaika getting friendly with a 20-something model. While Malaika has not spoken about it till now, Arbaaz has already clarified that they are fine.

“Malaika and Arbaaz were acting like any other normal couple. They were discussing about what to visit while on their trip. Malaika also seemed in a very romantic mood. She was also talking about her son because she was missing him,” the onlooker added.

Malaika then indulged in some wine tasting and had a glass or two of red wine. “The lunch lasted for about an hour and a half and then they left,” ends the source.

I respect my own space: MalaikaIn spite of the fact that they are often spotted together, Malaika says that she often takes off with her girl friends too. Malaika says that she sometimes likes to take off with her girlfriends or alone. “I prefer to go with my girl friends than Arbaaz as at times our own space is important and you can be yourself. I like to travel a lot as I’m an adventurous person. I was fortunate enough to travel many places during my career,” she said.

Malaika's become pricey!

It looks like Malaika Arora Khan's price has skyrocketed. It is being speculated that the item bomb has upped her show charges fee by at least 25 per cent.

Apparently, she has been refusing quite a few shows lately citing date issues. What has got tongues wagging is that Malla was spotted attending parties or just simply chilling on days she let some of those plum offers go by. People in the industry tell us that since Malaika has been working very closely with her set of people for years now, she does not just want to announce that she would perform at a higher fee. She is selectively telling the right people so that the word filters out to the rest. Well Malla, you have all the right for a hike! Munni Badnaam was definitely the best thing to happen to you and the industry last year!

Munni in Guinness Book of Records

" Munni Badnaam Hui" has entered the Guinness Book of World Records. Over 1200 people danced for three minutes on the song, led by Malaika Arora Khan, in Melbourne, Australia .

The event was organised by Indian Film Festival 2011 director Mitu Bhowmick Lange. Malaika also received a certificate for setting the record. The earlier record was set in Singapore when over 1008 people danced on a song.
