Lara's musical surprise

Friends are family, we now know for sure. While actress Lara Dutta's busy getting her trousseau in place for her wedding with Mahesh Bhupathi this month, her Catholic friends have been meeting up behind her back to plan a surprise for her as part of the sangeet ceremony.

Every night, after completing their work, her closest pals including Deanne Pandey, Lara's sisters Sabrina and Cheryl and others make their way to a common meeting place and put on their dancing shoes. Sheila Ki Jawaani and Munni Badnaam are the fave numbers and everyone's doing their jhatkas and matkas on that said a friend who has been coordinating everyone's moves.

"We are fumbling like mad and tripping over each other. Men are worse than the women brigade though," she laughed. As the days are closing in, Lara's sure to have a feast for her eyes. Till then, there is nothing dishy about the surprise act, but it's brimming with love and 'Maca Pau' humour.

Kelly, Dino not invited to Lara’s wedding

Lara Dutta in Karan Johar’s talk show, ‘Koffee With Karan’ said that she is still friend with her ex-flames, Kelly Dorjee and Dino Morea but in reality this is not true. Lara is getting married to tennis star Mahesh Bhupathi on January 17 but she did not invite her two ex boyfriends. Their names were cut from the invitee’s list.

Lara and Kelly were close friends for 10 years but she was linked to Dino for a short period. She ended up with Dino bitterly. Lara does not want anything wrong in the wedding ceremony and reception and so she has left out this two names.

A source close to the actress maintains that Lara is "good friends" with her exes Dino and Kelly but hasn't invited either to her wedding. "Because she doesn't want any awkward moments during the ceremony or the reception", said the source.

Dino admits, "I haven't been invited to Lara's wedding. I am not in touch with her since our breakup."

Lara Dutta to marry Mahesh Bhupathi on Feb 19

Lara Dutta and tennis star Mahesh Bhupthai have been dating for quite a long period and now the duo has decided to take wedding vows. The nuptial has been fixed on February 19^th. The couple has opted for Goa wedding as Goa is a favorite place of both Lara and Mahesh. They would tie the knot in a plush five star hotel in Goa. 

Confirming the news, a source said, “Lara and Mahesh love Goa. They both decided to convert their favourite holiday spot into a place that would be memorable to them forever.”

Post the wedding, Lara would move to Mahesh apartment in Nibbana Society at Pali Hill.

Bhupathi was legally divorced for his first wife Shweta Jaishankar. In the past, Lara was in a relationship with Kelly Dorjee and with Dino Morea.

Lara, Bhupathi to wed in February

Lara Dutta and her boyfriend Mahesh Bhupathi gets candid on the show, ‘Koffee With Karan’ and confessed that they would tie the knot in February next year. They even spoke in length about their past relationship and how their past relationship went kaput.
Says a source, "Lara and Hesh appeared on the show on Wednesday night. When the KWK host quizzed them about their relationship and romance, they spoke openly and even discussed marriage plans.

When Karan asked them outright about the marriage date, they promptly replied that it would be in February 2011 and that their families were in the process of fixing the date.

Lara even told KJo how the tennis ace proposed to her in New York on Sept 12 this year."

Bhupathi was earlier married to Shwetha Jaishankar but later divorced her while Lara was in relationship with Kelly Dorjee and Dino Morea.
