Dabangg Actor Salman Khan will be back in 2014 with Mental and Kick

Bollywood Salman Khan was completely missing in 2013. Except for his upcoming TV show Bigg Boss7 which starts at September 15, he was absent from the big screen where he truly belongs.

But with his latest confession and locking the date July 27, 2014 Eid release for Kick, the directorial debut of Sajid Nadiadwala, Salman Khan promises to be back with a bang.

For the past several years, Salman’s Wanted (2009), Dabangg (2010), Bodyguard (2011) and Ek Tha Tiger (2012) have always released on Eid and they have all been blockbusters and the biggest hits of those years.

Earlier it was reported that Salman, who was to join the crew of Sajid Nadiadwala's Kick in Glasgow, has not been able to leave India as his visa was rejected.

While no reasons have been given for the denial, it is being speculated that the hit-and-run case against the actor may have been behind the decision.

Sajid and Salman decided that they will complete Kick at breakneck speed so that the film can release on Eid.

FORTHCOMING FILMS
His forthcoming movies include Mental, Kick, No Entry Sequel and Sooraj Barjatya‘s next Bade Bhaiyya where he plays a double role. The actor’s yet untitled film by Prabhu Deva is aiming for a Diwali or Christmas 2014 release.

Mental aka Jai Ho
Mental will come out around Republic Day next year. Salman’s Mental aka Jai Ho is been produced and directed by Sohail Khan Cast: Sana Khan and Daisy Shah as leading ladies. The film is a remake of the south indian mega star Chiranjeevi Telugu super hit Stalin, directed by A R Murugadoss.

Kick
Kick will come on 24 July, 2014. Produced and directed by Sajid Nadiadwala

Untitiled Film
This is a new entry in the list which will be directed by Prabhu Deva and produced by Ramesh Taurani The movie is rumoured to be an action-romantic and is slated to release in 2014. Salman has delivered back to back hits ever since he worked with Prabhu Deva in Wanted.

No Entry Mein Entry
With the entry of Prabbhu Deva’s next, the sequel of No Entry gets postponed and now will go on the floor later in 2014. The film is now expected to release in 2015 though no confirmation has been given. Anees Bazmee will be directing the film.

Aamir guides Imran Khan again

As Delly Belly is all set to release, Aamir Khan takes Imran in his stride once again.

Imran Khan is on a high these days as he gets a chance to be back to where he started from – Aamir Khan Productions. Delhi Belly , which is the next production from the banner, will see Imran Khan in the lead role. Imran is extremely excited about this film as this will be his second film with his mamu jaan Aamir Khan and that too after a big gap of 3 years.

Imran Khan had taken his baby steps into the film industry way back in 2008 when AKP launched him with Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na . This was the third film produced by the company and it marked the debut of the suave actor. Since then, it has been a roller coaster ride for Imran Khan who went on to do some successful cinema and has emerged as a good actor.

"Although mamu jaan Aamir ensured Imran's entry into Bollywood, the actor has never looked back upon him for help for any of his future assignments", says a close friend. "He has taken his own decisions and done a plethora of films, proving his mettle as an actor, with every genre of film that he has done. And he has done so rather successfully which is why he is kicked about Delhi Belly where he will get a chance to chisel his skills once again under the impeccable guidance of Aamir Khan".

Delhi Belly, which is co produced by Aamir Khan Productions and UTV Motion Pictures is slated to release on the 1st of July. Incidentally Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na also released in the first week of July. Guess with the first movie turning out to be a megahit, AKP is leaving no stones unturned to ensure the success of this film as well.

Katrina's tribute to Madhubala

While she is being considered to play the role of Madhubala in Kishore Kumar's biographical film, Katz has already reprised the role in another film.

While Salman Khan is paying tribute to yesteryear actors in the song ' Character Dheela ' from Ready , Katrina Kaif doesn't seem to be left far behind. Katz will be reprising the role of one of the most beautiful actresses on Indian screen – the ethereal Madhubala.

And no, we are not talking about the biographical film on Kishore Kumar to be directed by Anurag Basu, where apparently Katrina Kaif is being considered to play the role of the legendary singer's wife, Madhubala. While there is still some time before that happens, Katrina has already gone ahead and revived the magic of Madhubala in her upcoming film Mere Brother Ki Dulhan .

Perhaps because no actress, in her good senses, can think of playing Madhubala, Katrina Kaif has attempted to do that in an intoxicated state. That's exactly how the scene happens in the film. Sources associated with the film claim that, in the scene, Katrina downs some bhang at a roadside dhaba where she sees a poster of the yesteryear actress. And after that she breaks into a song and dance number which is a tribute to Madhubala.

From Sheila to Madhubala, must say Katrina Kaif has quite a diverse range in her dance numbers. Perhaps Anurag Basu might not need to do a look test on Katrina Kaif as Madhubala, after seeing this song.

First look of Salman-Katrina starrer 'Ek Tha Tiger' revealed

The first look of Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer, ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ revealed. The film is a highly anticipated one following certain reasons, first it is a Yash raj banner film, secondly the film brings ex lovers Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif together for the first time.

Thirdly, it is Salman Khan’s debut venture with Yash Raj banner.  The first look of the film sees Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif in a very causal pose with formal wear. Sallu in a white shirt and blue jeans while Kat in a red outfit looks elegant and simple.

‘Ek Tha Tiger’ is a Kabir Khan’s flick whose last hit is ‘New York’ starring Katrina, John and Neil.

Tusshar Kapoor is overworked!

Tusshar Kapoor's last release Shor In The City got a mixed response at the box office.

The actor is happy with his performance and the feedback he's been getting from fans and friends. And wile comments and compliments continue to flow in; Tush has already employed himself in the promotions of his next Love U... Mr Kalaakar.

And the work for the lad will not be over with the film's release. He will soon start shooting for Milan Luthria's Dirty Picture where he is paired opposite Vidya Balan. Talking about his hectic schedule, the actor wrote on his micro-blog, "Just got done with Shor In The City and now have to work as hard for LUMK."

Shah Rukh Khan (SRK) too busy for Yash Chopra

Shah Rukh Khan fans have to wait for his next romantic flick which will be directed by Yash Chopra.

It is believed that the film has been postponed to December, thanks to his involvement in the ongoing IPL and his home production Ra.One. After IPL, Shah Rukh will be busy in the aggressive marketing and promotions of Ra.One, which releases in October. His Don 2 will be releasing in December too thus he will need time for its promotions as well.

According to a source, Yash Chopra who is back to direction after 7 years wants SRK to focus only on one project dedicatedly. Thus the film will commence on December 15 th . Very few know that YRF considers 6 as their lucky number thus the date 15 (1 + 5 = 6) has been chosen to kickstart the project.

This untitled romantic flick will bring Shah Rukh and Katrina Kaif together for the first time.

Vindu, Sonakshi fight it out

Actors Sonakshi Sinha and Vindu Dara Singh had fun while shooting for Shirish Kunder's " Joker" in Chandigarh.

Both of them used to play scrabble between shots and the competition was tough.Among the cast and crew, Sonakshi was the best scrabble player, but Vindu was not far behind and used to give her a good fight. The film also stars Akshay Kumar.

"It is always like picnic shooting with Akshay. This time around Sonakshi was with us. She is very good at scrabble. When we played, she always won but, even she agrees with me that I gave her good fight as no could on the set," said Vindu.

‘Dhoom’ great franchise to be part of, says ‘villain’ Aamir Khan

Mumbai, Feb 2 – Aamir Khan is excited to play villain in ‘Dhoom 3′. The superstar Wednesday said ‘Dhoom’ was a great franchise to work in even though he initially didn’t think he would fit in. 

‘I have recently signed ‘Dhoom 3′. I liked the script very much. When I had watched ‘Dhoom’, I liked it a lot. I enjoyed the music and the whole attitude. It’s a very fun film. I really liked it. I never thought I would fit in this kind of film,’ Aamir told reporters at a press meet here. 

Victor Acharya, who wrote ‘Dhoom’ and ‘Dhoom 2′ is the writer-director of ‘Dhoom 3′. The earlier installments were directed by Sanjay Gadhvi and starred Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra.

‘When I heard the story from Victor, I really enjoyed it. Very well-written script, very enjoyable. It’s a great franchise and I am happy to be part of it. I am also looking forward to work with Abhishek and Uday,’ Aamir said. 

‘It’s true that for the first time I’m doing a negative role, an anti-hero in the mainstream film. I liked my role and all the characters are very well-written. Actually, in between I did another negative role in an offbeat film ‘1947 Earth’,’ said Aamir.

This is the second time Aamir is working with Yash Raj Films after ‘Fanaa’ in 2006.

‘I have worked with Yash Raj and I have a very comfortable relation with them,’ he said.

The actor said Victor and producer Aditya Chopra are yet to decide the actress opposite him.

While ‘Dhoom’ starred John Abraham as villain, ‘Dhoom 2′ saw Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai sizzle too.

Victor Acharya’s debut ‘Tashan’ (2008) fared badly at the box office but that didn’t deter Aamir from signing his film. 

‘I think he is a very talented director. One shouldn’t decide a director’s capacity with the fate of any one of his films. I have full faith in him,’ Aamir said.

Priyanka and sahid kapoor in yash raj kaminey gang

Priyanka Chopra has been around for a while but there are still a few firsts for the actress. It seems that the actress will be shooting for her first on-screen kiss in this movie, where she is paired opposite Shahid Kapur.

Kaminey which is directed by Vishal Bharadwaj, is scheduled for a release in March next year. The film has just completed a schedule in Mumbai. In the film, Priyanka plays a middlecalss Marathi girl, while Shahid plays a gambler, who cons people. His get up in the film is quite interesting as he sports long hair and stubble.

The look was quite secret and Shahid did steer clear of cameras so that he could keep his look under wraps for a while. Incidentally, the single Shahid and the supposedly single Priyanka (she says she is not seeing Harman), are believed to have become very close while shooting for this film. Incidentally, both actors also live in the same building in the suburbs. Priyanka seems to be flying high these days.

She is also believed to have been roped in by Yash Raj Films to do their next film, which will be directed by Jugal Hansraj. Uday Chopra will play the lead in this one.

Govinda delaying Banda Yeh Bindaas Hai

It seems that the actor is driving producer-director Ravi Chopra mad. The shooting of the film in question, Banda Yeh Bindaas Hai, is more or less complete and the actor is playing truant about giving dates for the film's dubbing. His other co-stars in the film, Lara Dutta and Tabu have already finished their portion of the dubbing.

Actor Govinda still continues to play all his old tricks on his hapless directors. Despite managing to make a comeback after a long lean period the actor refuses to mend his ways. One would have thought that the actor would have been grateful for the second chance that life has given him.

Govinda does not seem to have the time to dub or complete the last couple of scenes that are left to can. If that is not enough to drive some one mad, then what is? Meanwhile, Chopra has started work on his next film, Pocket Maar, which will star Amitabh Bachchan and Shahid Kapur. It is scheduled to go on the floor next year.

Kabir Khan back with John Katrina in New York 2009

Director Kabir Khan, who made his debut with critically acclaimed film "Kabul Express", is all set to release his next film "New York" in 2009.

The film has John Abrahan, Katrina Kaif, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Irrfan Khan in lead roles.Music of the film has been composed by Pritam. The film will also be the first Yash Raj release of 2009. The trailer of "New York" will be unveiled with Shah Rukh Khan starrer film "Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi" on 12th December

"New York" is a contemporary story of friendship set against the larger than life backdrop of a city often described as the centre of the world. The story of the film centres around three young friends, whose beautiful lives are turned upside down by larger events beyond their control, a Yash Raj Films release said.

Emraan Claim Raaz-The Mystery Continues his best ever

After the musical blockbuster of 2008, 'Janna't, Emraan Haashmi is all set to return this winter with his most awaited and expensive horror flick till date, 'Raaz-The Mystery Continues' (RTMC) which is produced by Vishesh Films and released by SONY BMG. Emran Hashmi, considered to be a lucky charm that attracts great music in all his films, believes that the main attraction of RTMC would be its stunning soundtrack. While all his other films have successively featured outstanding hit songs, Imraan has clearly stated that RTMC is going to out-do all these previous albums. The music is to be in stores on 10th December 2008.

While it is never a surprise to see brilliant music from the Bhatt camp, the buzz is that RTMC features songs that are truly outstanding in terms of compositions, musical arrangement and sheer groove. Don 2 Combo Srk and Farhan May Hit Floor Soon

It's not just Bollywood, but the entire globe has been yearning to watch the sequel of Don as the remake leaped as a sensational hit. Due combo Shah Ruk Khan-Farhan Aktar made it all happen winning laurels getting their remake ennobled as 'Best than the original'. So, who's gonna let you know when they'll start filming for its sequel? When King Khan doesn't give his tongue for this, one man who can reveal it is Farhan Akhtar.

As an actor, he is curious about his forthcoming flick Luck By Chance that depicts him in the role of a struggling actor. Also he had plans to direct his 'Voice from the Sky' with Akshaye Khanna in lead role, but it is shelved due to some production issues.

Post-Don, Farhan's life has been transcending successful into different ventures as an actor, a playback singer. Well, he will be stepping into the shoes of hosting a reality show Oye, It's Friday from December 12. Speaking on this new venture, Farhan says "It's completely different from shows hosted by Karan Johar and Sajid Khan. Of course, there are chit-chats between me and celebrities while there'll be more dancers shaking their legs, live performances by actors".


Ask him about his plans for Don's sequel? Farhan utters, "Yup! I am working on script now and probably we will start shooting it somewhere between October-November

Delayed 'Dulha Mil Gaya' Shooting start with SRK

Shah Rukh Khan has finally started shooting for Dulha Mil Gaya after a delay of nearly 2 years.

Shah Rukh is to spend 2 weeks shooting for his guest role, after which he will travel to Malaysia to get an award. Shah Rukh will start shooting for My Name Is Khan in mid-December.

A source reveals, "After such a long gap and date problems, the shoot finally resumed on Monday with Shah Rukh and the entire cast. SRK was busy with Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, and has now started shooting for DMG, which is directed by Sushmita Sen’s beau Mudassar Aziz."

Vivek Oberoi turn stunt man in upcoming movie Parkour

If you Think Vivek Oberoi has been a bit out of news, here’s what the actor’s been up to. Vivek’s just completed a two-month long schedule for Kumar Taurani’s untitled film in South Africa.
"He’s done parkour stunts in this one," informs his publicist Dale Bhagwagar. "We’ve seen these kind of stunts in international films like ‘Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon’ and the James Bond thriller ‘Casino Royale’. But they are new to Bollywood. Vivek has been receiving special training for these from action experts Dean from UK and David from Thiland."

"It’s not easy to perform and requires solid body-discipline and training too. One little slip and the actor can end up breaking his bones," he adds. The film is directed by Kookie V. Gulati and will star three heroines opposite Vivek.

So, what actually, are ‘parkour stunts’? "They’re about jumping freestyle and clinging to the next thing in sight. They’re meant to help one overcome obstacles, which can be anything in the surrounding environment, from branches and rocks to rails and concrete walls. Remember that famous chase sequence in the beginning of ‘Casino Royale’, where Daniel Craig and a black guy jump on under-construction buildings. That’s parkour," Bhagwagar tells us.
This month, the actor is also set to fly to New York to begin shooting for the Karan Johar production directed by Rensil D’Silva. Vivek co-stars with Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor in this one.
