Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty has refuted reports that her marriage is in trouble, saying that she and her husband Raj Kundra are holidaying in the US. 


She also says that she is not pregnant. "First I hear am preggars (NOT true) Now I hear my husbands havin an affair from the press. Common fr papers 2 stoop low 2 sensationalise false," Shilpa posted on her Twitter page Tuesday. There were reports that Kundra had met a gorgeous lady at a hair-transplant clinic in London and later gifted the clinic assistant a European holiday.

But, the 36-year-old actress has denied the reports. "False news!grrrrrr:( 4 the record, my husband and I are holidaying in USA and r very happily married. Sorry 2 burst the newspapers bubble," she added.

Shamita Shetty quits acting; takes to interior designing!

Shilpa Shetty’s younger sister Shamita Shetty has finally realized that her acting career is going nowhere. So the girl has decided to quit acting and choose a different vocation.

We hear that Shamita is all set to fly to London for a six-month course in interior designing. The move has got strong approval from elder sister Shilpa Shetty who herself seems to be on a sabbatical from Bollywood.

Shamita was last seen playing a significant role in the 2006 flop film Cash. After that she has made forgettable cameos in films like Heyy Babyy and Hari Puttar. Shamita’s Bollywood inning started in 2000 with the Aditya Chopra film Mohabbatein. During the ten years of her career as an actress she has also worked in a few Tamil and Telugu films.

But now, Shamita has decided to go the Twinkle Khanna way and become an interior designer.

Famous numerologist Sanjay B Jumaani has come up with some surprising similarities between the Bollywood actors Dimple Kapadia and Shilpa Shetty, both of whom celebrate their birthdays on June 8.

``The birth dates of Dimple (8+6+1957=36) and Shilpa (8+6+1975=36) add up to the same number 36, and also add up to the same number 43, on their name spellings. It's a big coincidence, and this is the main reason why they are similar in so many ways,'' said Jumaani. He further added that both made their debuts in films whose titles
began with the letter `B' -- Bobby (Dimple) and Baazigar (Shilpa).

Both were unlucky in their first relationships, he said, and explained that Dimple's marriage with Rajesh Khanna didn't last, just like Shilpa's long-standing link-up with Akshay Kumar.

Both also have one man in common between them -- Akshay Kumar, who is now the son-in-law of Dimple.

``Both have had their younger sisters making an entry into films, though they never quite reached the same heights. Dimple's sister Simple made her unsuccessful film debut, while Shilpa's sister Shamita also did not do well in their debut projects in films,'' said Jumaani.

Coincidentally, both have sisters whose names begins with the letter `S'. The planetary effect: Jumaani said both Dimple and Shilpa are ruled by Mercury, which is the planet of communication. Futuristically, as Jumaani noted, they can do very well if they set up institutes of acting but, away from their places of birth. Air signs do better far from their place of birth. Rubbishing reports that Shilpa Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra are expecting their first child, the actress tweeted that she is not in the family way.

Shilpa Shetty sprains her neck

Shilpa Shetty, who usually travels with her IPL team, didn't go for the match between Rajasthan Royals and Kings XI Punjab in Mohali on Thursday.

Hubby Raj Kundra told us that Shilpa sprained her neck and is under treatment. "She was excited about coming to Chandigarh, but the injury was bad and she has to wear a cervical collar. She can't travel for a week. I wish she recovers quickly, there are 10 more matches. She's my good luck charm," said Raj.

When singer Abhijeet took potshots at Bappida on a television show, calling him a "besharam sangeetkar", a tearful Bappi told the press, "Bardasht ki bhi ek hadh hoti hai!" And then he decided to make Abhijeet face the music. "I'm definitely suing Abhijeet for defamation. He has to prove in court that I'm besharam!" he announced. Tall order, that. But, since she was currently out of India and since the orthodox writers did not favour Shilpa, former Miss World Aishwarya was a clear winner. Shilpa Shetty is all praises for Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra for her power-packed performance in Vishal Bharadwaj’s ‘7 Khoon Maaf’.

"Watched 7 Khoon maaf,las night Well directed@priyankachopra rockd,really complex role but u did a gr8 job effortlessly,U go girl,all d best (sic)," Shilpa posted on her Twitter page.

In the film, Priyanka Chopra plays a woman who craze for true love and in search of pure love, she gets married seven times. Unsatisfied with her husbands attitude and nature, she kills each of them.

Shilpa under threat!

Shilpa Shetty is under serious threat. Two scamsters posing to be associates of the cricket heiress and businesswoman have been going around town telling people that it is they who are running her spa business.

They have even approached people who can be probable clients and tried to dupe them off their money. It is said that these two are only conducting their business via telephone so that they remain unidentifiable.

"There are people who have got calls saying that they needed to pay a certain sum of money to enroll themselves into Shilpa's spa and they were also apparently offering them a discounted price," says an industry informer.

Interestingly, a couple of months back, a couple of people were pulled up for pretending to be Shilpa's associates. This is the second successive imposter alert on Shilpa in two months.

"Shilpa and her partner Kiran Bawa are taking the matter up with the spa association. They feel there is someone out there wanting to malign their reputation," says the B-town source.

When contacted, Shilpa who is in Venice celebrating her Valentine's week with her hubby Raj Kundra conveyed to us that she is very disturbed with this development.

New Delhi, Jan 31 – Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty is happy after getting a chance to visit the holy town of Shirdi in Maharashtra.

‘Visited Shirdi aftr tryin hard a few times this year, and then it just happnd! Jus goes to show, there has to b a ‘calling’ frm God. At Peace (sic),’ Shilpa posted on her Twitter page after a visit to the Sai Baba shrine in Shirdi .

The 35-year-old, who is married to businessman Raj Kundra, has been missing from action for sometime – both on the big as well as small screen.

Shirish wants to make dance film

Film editor-turned-director Shirish Kunder, who is currently working on casting for his next project ‘Joker’, says he wants to make a film which will be high on dance.

‘Wanna make a full on dance film next,’ Kunder posted on his Twitter page Monday.

A dance film perhaps won’t be a tough nut for him, given that his wife Farah Khan is among the most successful Bollywood choreographers. His dance film apart, Kunder is currently focusing on ‘Joker’, which has Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi Sinha and Shreyas Talpade in key roles.

‘The heroine opposite Shreyas Talpade in ‘Joker’ has been finalised. I should be able to reveal it tomorrow. ‘Joker’ has a very unusual premise. Nervous and excited about it,’ he added.

Kunder also promises to make innovative films in future.

‘There is no way I can know the box office fate of the films I direct. All I can assure is that I will always try something innovative,’ he added.

Vikas Bhalla set for TV comeback

Actor-singer Vikas Bhalla, who has taken a break from the small screen, is to be back with Zee TV’s ‘Sanjog Se Bani Sangini’.

The actor, who failed to create waves in Bollywood, will enter the show as the manager of a bank where the show’s protagonist Gauri works. Vikas is quite happy.

‘There usually is always the ‘other’ woman who becomes the third wheel in the relationship, but here I will be playing the part of the ‘other’ man in Gauri’s life. It should make for an interesting role, especially when I get to be the troublemaker,’ said Vikas, who was earlier seen in shows like ‘Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin’ and ‘Karishma: A Miracle of Destiny’.

Shilpa slams Anil over his lip job comment

Shilpa Shetty is highly upset with actor Anil Kapoor for making unpleasant comment about her lip job on the talk show, ‘Koffee With Karan’.

She shot back at the actor and counted down what treatment he has undergone to good manly and young. She said, “It was downright rude, especially coming from an actor who himself had fillers put in his cheeks. And used padding on his arms and chest to look beefed up during the shoot of ‘Rishtey’! Why doesn`t he talk about that?”

The actress did not put a full-stop here and named his co-stars who has done collagen implants on their lips, “As for collagen implants on the lips, every actress including Katrina and Piranka and his own No Problem actress Kangna has done it. Why didn`t he name them?”

Shilpa had accident with her Sunglasses

Bollywood beauty Shilpa Shetty recently injured her foot and blames her big sunglasses for the mishap. The actress says that it has disrupted the schedule of her international project "Desire".

"It is nothing that local anaesthesia, a tetanus injection and antibiotics couldn't solve. There's nothing to worry about other than my dates that have gone for a toss, disabling me from taking Odissi lessons for my new film 'Desire'," she wrote.

"I hurt my foot bad enough to get 15 stitches don't ask me how. In a freak accident, thanks to my big sunglasses and nose in the air, I overlooked a sharp metal piece that slit my foot, thankfully not below but over the foot," Shilpa posted on her

But for now, she plans to take it easy for at least two weeks for the healing of her injured foot. She ended her blog by posting: "Look before you leap and stay grounded."

The actress, who made a special appearance in hit film "Dostana", is extremely excited about this Indo-Chinese project in which she is working with a foreign actor for the first time. She is paired with Chinese actor Xia Yu.
