Eva Mendes glows with meat-free diet

Actress Eva Mendes says the secret to her flawless skin is her meat-free diet. She only eats fish to keep her skin healthy.

She also drinks three litres of water a day to stay hydrated. "I eat a lot of fish. I haven't eaten any meat at all for several years now and I've noticed that my skin looks a lot better and much healthier," contactmusic.com quoted her as saying.

But she has other beauty mantras too. "I believe beauty starts from within, so I exercise, eat well and drink three litres of water a day. It all begins with hydration," she added.

The 38-year-old even limits the amount of time she spends in the shower to conserve water. "Taking a five-minute shower always helps the environment. Plus it's a great way to make sure I'm out of the house sooner therefore always running on time," she said.

Eva Mendes Loves Her Carbohydrates

Eva Mendes isn’t a fussy eater.

The actress, 37, says she doesn’t cut carbohydrates out of her diet.

“I focus on the inside out – so it’s all about what I’m eating, how I’m feeding my body and how much water I’m drinking,” she shared.

“I don’t eat meat, but I eat a lot of fish and brown rice. I love bread too. People are always surprised when I eat bread in restaurants! I mostly stick to wholemeal though.

“When in doubt, go dark with the food – so I stay away from white pasta, white rice and white bread and that keeps things simple for me.

“I hit the gym three to four times a week to do light weights. The minimum I do cardio for is 35 minutes, but you can get a lot done that time if you use it wisely. And then I spend about an hour on the weight training,” she explained.

Eva Mendes named as Reebok Easytone’s ambassador

London, March 2 – Actress Eva Mendes has been named as the new ambassador of Reebok EasyTone.
 

Following in the footsteps of supermodel Helena Christensen and British beauty Kelly Brook, the 36-year-old actress will become the face of the toning trainers – which tone leg and buttocks muscles.

Eva Mendes finds marriage boring

Actress Eva Mendes has no plans to tie the knot with her long-term boyfriend George Augusto because she finds marriage ‘boring’.

‘No, no, no. I don’t know if I want children, but the idea of marriage sounds very boring to me. 

I have to be honest. And no disrespect, because I think marriage is a beautiful institution,’ she

said.

‘I am extremely romantic but I think there is that little rebel inside me that is anti-establishment.

It’s just one more fun thing I can rebel against,’ she added.

However, when it comes to attending someone’s wedding, the ‘Other Guys’ star can’t stop

‘I love going to a wedding. I do this thing – I call it wedding dancing. I don’t know what happens

to me but I just dance in a way that I’ve never danced before. I’m the best person to have at
