Bollywood actor Shiney Ahuja''s wife Anupam has said that she has faith in Indian judiciary and believes that her husband will get justice in the alleged rape case.

The ''Woh Lamhe'' star, who was accused of raping his 18-year-old maid in June 2009, is currently on bail and has appealed against the verdict at a higher court.

Despite calling the three-year ordeal ''horrific'', Anupam said that their spirits have not been broken.

While speaking exclusively to tabloid! the economics graduate said she is determined to support her husband until the end.

"I feel as if I have landed in the woods and it''s a long walk to get out of there. I cannot afford to focus on how hard the walk is or if an animal is going to bite me or focus on how tired I am... At such a time, there''s only one thing to do and that''s to keep walking," the Gulf News quoted Anupam as saying.

When asked that what made her decide to support her husband and how was the ordeal, she said, "It was the right thing to do. It wasn''t a choice or a decision to be made. It was the most obvious decision to make.

"You don''t abandon a man who is innocent and you don''t abandon the truth either. It was horrific... this whole thing. But when you know this thing is absolutely false - you don''t walk away. You don''t walk away from people you love. You stand by them when they have been wronged.

"It was that which kept me going and it was that which kept the entire family going. We believe in our judiciary and have faith that we will get justice," she added.

Anupam also said that due to his celebrity status, the actor has been made a soft target and has been framed for some motif.

"Definitely, he was a soft target. With films like Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi and Gangster, he had fame but did not have the clout or a network in Bollywood. If anybody were to target him, he is a perfect target - completely soft.

"There was no network beneath that fame. And Shiney being Shiney - he is the kind of guy who has always believed that talent will speak for itself. He kept saying people will buy talent. It was something of a debate between us and I often said that it may make a huge difference if you go out there and meet people.

"The motive could be greed or the motive could be jealousy because of his rising fame. I am not at liberty to speculate now. The fact is that it is a frame up - 100 per cent. At this point, all I can tell you is that there were forces at work to bring him down. I can reveal more after the court case comes to a close," she added.

When asked what is the next move, she replied, "We will go ahead and continue with the legal aspects of fighting the case in the higher courts. In the meantime, it''s going to be a time for rehabilitation for our family. We want to start rebuilding our life and continue walking."

Esha Koppiker insult Shiney Ahuja

Much has been written and discussed about how Shiney Ahuja ended up pissing out his industry senior like Preity Zinta on the sets of Jahnu Barua's Har Pall and how she stopped talking to him on the film's sets. Recently in an interview too she made a dig at Shiney stating that she would never call him her friend or invite him for dinner. But now news is trickling out that even Isha Koppikar, who also stars in Har Pall, had taken an aversion to Shiney Ahuja.

As soon as she entered, Shiney went up to her and taunted at her saying she has grown very fat in these last few weeks and immediately started laughing. Not the one to take down such an insult lying down, Eesha hit back at Shiney by telling him that he has turned more uglier than before! Hearing this all those standing around started laughing and Shiney had to literally hide his face at the unexpected hit back by Eesha."

A unit member narrated, "A cold war of sorts was already happening between Shiney Ahuja and Preity Zinta and then Eesha too joined the 'I hate Shiney' bandwagon. Shiney and Eesha would often be seen arguing with each other on the sets. They even resorted to taunting each other in front of the unit members. One day Eesha came on sets after a gap of few weeks.

Shiney is rapidly rising the unpopularity charts not just amongst his co-starlets but amongst filmmakers as well with his attitude problem.

No confusion between between Priety and Shiney

Filmmaker Jahnu Barua was present at the International Film Festival of India.The director spoke about Har Pall his film with Preity Zinta and Shiney Ahuja in the lead.

CNN-IBN: How is your film Har Pall coming about?
Jahnu Barua: The film is ready now and will be released in the next two months time. Right now some marketing negotiations are going on.

CNN-IBN: What were your reasons for choosing Shiney Ahuja and Priety Zinta for the lead roles?
Jahnu Barua: Well, simply because they suited the roles. And Preity was my first choice for the role as it is a very difficult role. I always felt Preity was very good and that she was under-utilised.

CNN-IBN: There have been reports that Priety and Shiney don't get along well. How true is this?
Jahnu Barua: No I don't think so and there is nothing like that. There are small professional differences between everyone at first and it's the first time that they are working together.

Shiney Ahuja and preeti are not best friends

Preity Zinta is known for being very clear and vocal about her opinions. This straightforward Bollywood actor has now made her views on actor Shiney Ahuja public, and they are not exactly full of warmth!

Preity’s words make it clear that there is not much love lost between these Bollywood actors.

“Shiney and I are not the best of friends! He’s not exactly a Shah Rukh, Salman, Hrithik or Abhishek for me. I’ve worked in so many films with these guys, and we share such camaraderie that it’s not unusual that I drop into their homes, chat up with their wives… Well, I don’t share that relationship with Shiney. That’s all there is to it, really!” Preity made it clear.

Some news of a spat between the two was abuzz, but the confirmation came only when Preity spoke about Shiney in these terms. She went on to add, ” He certainly won’t be seen at a party thrown by me!”

This certainly leaves no doubts about the kind of vibes coursing between them! Watch out Shiney, your stars are shining bright, but rubbing this outspoken queen of Bollywood the wrong way doesn’t augur well!
