Juhi Parmar is the Winner of Bigg Boss Season 5

TV actress Juhi Parmar, who has won the fifth season of controversial reality show 'Bigg Boss' says it is a second inning for her as her 'weighty' issue had kept her away from small screen.

"It is like a second inning for me....I wanted to start work but only after reducing weight...getting in proper shape. I was away from work for a year or so. My weight was a big hindrance in my career which I gained due to medical reasons. But there are no excuses accepted in the industry. For me the struggle was to lose weight...my target was that," Juhi told PTI in an interview.

"Bigg Boss came my way so I took it up. I thought it was the right thing before I begin work with a rocking start," she said.

Before getting into Bigg Boss, Juhi had lost 10 kgs and after going to the show she lost four kgs.

"The feeling has yet to sink in. Forget about winning the show I had never expected to be there till finale. I felt as I was not the focal point of the show I may not last longer. As I never picked up fights or anything of that sort," Juhi said.

"I was not the silent player. I used to talk, laugh, cry, voice my opinion, stood up for the truth," she said.

Juhi feels fights and controversies do not help any contestant in the long run.

"If pick up fights and all that was concerned then I wouldnt have won the show. I have hardly had any major fight on the show. It takes you ahead in the show as it does not help you in winning. That is not the mantra," she said.

Juhi won Rs one crore prize money besides a trophy. But the actress has not yet thought of how she would spend the money, except that she would keep it for kids.

Sameer, Neelam’s wedding date fixed

January 23 has been fixed as the wedding date of Neelam Kothari and Sameer Soni. The couple has been seeing each other for a long time and finally they have fixed the date of nuptial.

Sameer is more than happy to walk down the aisle with his ladylove Neelam. They have opted for a hush-hush wedding followed by a grand reception. Sameer said, "We're having a very quiet wedding ceremony on January 23, just Neelam's parents and mine and our siblings. Then we will have a wedding reception for all our friends on January 26. We're going crazy trying to draw up a list of invitees for the reception. Between me and Neelam, we've so many people to call."

Sameer will invite all his Bigg boss inmates. Reasons Sameer, "That's what decorum demands. Throughout my stint at Bigg Boss, I maintained my dignity. That's what I had promised to do to my parents. They were dead against my going into Bigg Boss. I had assured them I wouldn't shame them. I think I kept my word. I lasted quite long in there. The whole experience has taught me to be patient."

The duo has hold their honeymoon plans. Explains Sameer, "I've stayed away from Mumbai long enough because of Bigg Boss. So no honeymoon for now. But yes, kids are definitely on the anvil. Both of us are so quiet we need some activity in the house," laughs Sameer.

While accepting congratulations Neelam adds, "Yes I am very happy. We plan to start a family immediately. We want lots of kids."

Shweta burst into tears after seeing her daughter

Shweta Tiwari won Bigg Boss after defeating her inmates, The Great Khali, Ashmit Patel and Dolly Bindra. She walked away with a crown of Bigg Boss 4 and prize money of Rs. 1 crore. Regarded as favorite Bahu, Shweta played the game with consistency and decency.  She maintained dignity in the house for 14 weeks. She is the first woman to win Bigg Boss. Her joy knew no bounds when she was declared the winner by the host Salman Khan. She burst into tears after seeing her daughter Palak and her mother after three months.

'I have won because of your love. I am very happy,' she said to the audience after being announced the winner. Dolly was declared the third runner up.

The grand finale show some dazzling performances by Sara Khan, Veena Malik, Aanchal Kumar and Manoj Tiwari. Salman Khan too grooved to some hit numbers.

Shweta Tiwari Wins Bigg Boss

After raising far too many eyebrows along its 14-week run, “Bigg Boss 4″ has ended. With over-the-top cat fights, verbal abuse galore, a much publicised wedding, and romance that was often too intimate for viewers’ comfort, the season did in a way live up to its promise of being bigger. But was it better?

Colors’ “Bigg Boss 4″ had newer attractions, a state-of-the-art house, a live wire host in Bollywood star Salman Khan, interesting contestants, including two from Pakistan, and special appearances by film stars.

Season four saw incessant verbal abuses hurled over trivial matters, a sensation caused by the televised wedding of participant, actress Sara Khan with her beau Ali Merchant, and then the government hauling it up for “offending good taste”.

It started with 14 contestants, including Mumbai terror attack accused Mohammad Ajmal Kasab’s former lawyer Abbas Kazmi; thief-turned-detective Devinder Singh alias Superchor Bunty; actor Ashmit Patel, who was involved in an MMS scandal; former dacoit Seema Parihar and filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt’s son Rahul Bhatt, who was friends with terror operative David Headley, accused of scouting targets for Mumbai attack.

There were two contestants from Pakistan – actress and former girlfriend of fast bowler Mohammed Asif, Veena Malik, and cross-dressing diva and television personality Begum Nawazish Ali, apart from Indian TV actresses, Shweta Tiwari and Sara Khan, former MTV “Splitsvilla” contestant Sakshi Pradhan and model Aanchal Kumar, who hardly managed to raise the glamour quotient.

Others who participated in the competition of survival in a secluded house without any communication with the outside world, were Bhojpuri superstar Manoj Tiwari, model-turned-actor Sameer Soni and model Hrishant Goswami, later joined by WWE wrestler, The Great Khali and subsequently by the boisterous Dolly Bindra.

Hollywood bombshell Pamela Anderson was flown in to raise the mercury level as a special guest for three days on the already heated show!

This season courted quite a few controversies and troubles – starting Day 1 with Superchor Bunty’s ouster following unruly behaviour in the house. Then followed objections by the Shiv Sena and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) against inclusion of Pakistani celebrities on the show.

The entry of The Great Khali, whose humungous size of 7′1 and heavy voice, sent jitters down the spine of other contestants. The atmosphere in the “Bigg Boss 4″ house was quite calm, cool and friendly until Dolly Bindra made a wildcard entry, and shook the atmosphere with her loud and overbearing nature.

Abuses, fights and melodrama became a way of life after Dolly and Shweta began to settle personal scores violently. The fights got others like Ashmit, Sameer, Khali, Veena, Sara and Manoj involved too. In fact, Sameer and Dolly were asked to leave the show for their bad behaviour, only to return a few days later.

Where illwill was flourishing between many, romance was also in full bloom with Rahul-Aanchal’s silent chemistry, Veena’s one-sided attraction for Hrishant as well as Ashmit and Sara’s growing closeness there for the public to see.

The Ashmit-Sara angle didn’t last long – how could it when her long time beau Ali Merchant entered the show and proposed marriage to her. The two were set to say ‘kabool hai’ on national TV – but even that was replete with controversy.

The show was in a mess as the Sara-Ali love story took an ugly twist when Sara’s family claimed that both Sara and Ali were already married, and a petition was filed in court against them for cheating the public.

Then the information and broadcasting ministry stepped in. The ministry sent a notice to Colors for “offending good taste” and for the use of vulgar language in the show, and even went to the extent of asking it to shift the telecast time after 11 p.m.

Meanwhile, love was brewing elsewhere too – Veena changed loyalties and shifted focus to Ashmit, who willingly reciprocated. The two cosied up under a blanket, kissed and hugged each other often and shared sweet nothings, until Veena had to bid goodbye to the show.

After Sameer’s elimination in the 13th week – four candidates remained – the consistent Shweta, loud mouthed Dolly, confused and restless Ashmit and The Great Khali.

But it was Shweta who finally emerged the winner and walked away with the trophy and a cash prize of Rs.1 crore at a befitting, star-studded finale.

All in all, a controversial – yet entertaining season of “Bigg Boss”!

The winner of Big Boss 2 one crore money is Ashutosh Kaushik

Ashutosh Kaushik has been named the winner of Bigg Boss 2, a show that enthralled audiences across India and had become a topic for conversation and debate in colleges, workplaces and even roadside tea-stalls.
Ashutosh was one of the three finalists on the show along with Zulfi Syed, who is better known for his brush with Bollywood, and Raja Chaudhury, who tasted a bit of fame while dancing along side his now separated wife, television actress Shweta Tiwari.

Ashutosh was also the winner of Mr Honest title, which was conferred on him by Bigg Boss. That resulted in his one-night stay in the Bigg Boss special room watching movies, as a gift.

Ashutosh's is truly be a 'rags to riches' story. He hails from the small town of Saharanpur, in Uttar Pradesh where his only source of income until six months back was a tiny dhaba.

His early morning dance on a wake-up song along with his humorous antics and one-liners became his trademark and a major source of entertainment for the viewers.Though Ashutosh shared a good relationship with almost every participant, his proximity with former Miss World Diana Hayden raised eyebrows inside the house and caused much flutter in the media.

Life did a u-turn when Ashutosh won the fifth season of MTV's adventure reality show, Roadies. Winning Bigg Boss 2 is the icing on the cake, thanks to the big moolah - that will make life a lot easier for this small towner.
The finale, called Jumbo Finale was attended by both Bigg Boss host Shilpa Shetty as well as Bollywood star Akshay Kumar who was there to promote the animation movie, Jumbo.

Both Monika bedi and Rahul moving towards second marriage

Rahul Mahajan may have been thrown out of the reality show Bigg Boss but the reality show seems to have earned him his second soul mate in Monica Bedi.

Bigg Boss proved lucky for both Monica and Rahul as they improved upon their public image which was tarnished by their acts in the past. Rahul was the strongest contender to win the show but for his mistake lost out before the Grand Finale. He may have lost interest in the show once Monica was evicted. Only thing, Rahul should keep a close watch on his back as Salem's sharpshooters might just want to take him down!

If sources close to the couple are to be believed they are planning to tie the knot soon. It was initially thought to be a one sided affair but now it seems cupid has also stricken Monica.

Monica revealed that she knows Rahul's feeling for her are genuine and he wants to marry her. But before such a commitment she would like to talk to him off the cameras which was not possible during their stay at the Bigg Boss house. She added that although she trusted Rahul she was skeptical about marriage as she had committed a grave mistake in the past.

It is interesting as this will be the second marriage for both of them. Rahul was married to Shweta Singh after 13 years of friendship but the marriage ended in a bitter divorce after Shweta alleged physical torture. On the other hand Monica had tied knot with underworld don Abu Salem and had even stayed with him in Gulf with a fake name.

Diana Hayden is annoyed with early exit From Big boss 2

When Diana Hayden entered the house, there was a feeling that she would be aloof and snobbish, But now see is out of scope.But Diana like the girl next door cooked, cleaned, washed, learnt Hindi and had a promising friendship with Ashutosh Kaushik.

Owing to that there were loads of teasing and tension in the house. This strong mutual affection also scared the rest and they ended up alienating and nominating the two.

The warmth that existed between Ashutosh and Diana made great viewing.Diana maintains that it was just a friendship.She's reportedly said, "Ashu's a very good friend and an honest guy. It was a case of two different people sticking together, but we are just friends."

I am happy that I am out and Ashu has survived, because I can earn Rs. one crore (prize money) easily, but he can't do it right away.So, it's important for him to win as he has to marry his sister off and establish himself. Later, he will also be able to earn big money."

She dismissed the love seen in Ashutosh's eyes by saying, "Ashu is a big nautanki. But, it was sad that he had been completely cut off by others, and I preferred to stay with him most of the time because I can't ditch a friend.

She also made it a point to complain, "For the past two weeks, things have really got very dirty, and they are getting nastier by the day. Rahul and Monica are playing the dirtiest game. Monica lies through her teeth and Rahul isolates people by accusing them of all kinds of things."

Former beauty queen Diana Hayden, who was voted out of TV reality show "Bigg Boss" Friday, has blamed co-participants Rahul Mahajan and Monica Bedi for making the game "very dirty".

"The dirtiest game is being played by Rahul and Monica. They have no values or scruples," Diana, who managed to stay in the "Bigg Boss" house for eight weeks, told IANS over phone from Mumbai.

"I had the most amazing six weeks on the show, but the last two weeks got very dirty. Rahul never liked me because he knew that I could see what he was doing. They (Monica and Rahul) believed in doing everything for the camera. Fine you want to win, but its wrong to encourage fights, lie, and forget your values to win a game," she added.

"I agreed to the show because I wanted to be a part of a competition. Also, I travel a lot, so I thought it'll be a welcome break for me. Just relaxing and eating good Indian food," she said.

Although Diana was cordial with all other inmates of the show, her proximity with reality show MTV "Roadies 5.0" winner Ashutosh Kaushik, raised a few eyebrows in the public as well as within the "Bigg Boss" house.

"I gelled well with Ashutosh because he is a very simple and honest person. We are just very good friends. He is a charming person, very sweet and childish. He is funny and silly and that's why he used to do all those antics, by which people thought that he has feelings for me," she said.

Rubbishing rumours of a romantic liaison with Ashutosh, Diana said: "I'm not in a relationship and don't want to be in one at the moment. I'm sure its only friendship even from his side."
