Once again Jessica swamped her figure in baggy clothes; this time in an oversized black top paired with loose leggings, worn over a chunky charcoal cardigan.

The singer went underwraps in over-sized sunglasses and carried a leopard print handbag.

Speculation has recently run rife that Jessica, who is currently engaged to former NFL player Eric Johnson, is pregnant.

London, Feb 17 – Singer Jessica Simpson has revealed that the marriage proposal from her fooballer fiance Eric Johnson came as a shock to her.

‘It was a complete shock, a beautiful shock,’ digitalspy.co.uk quoted her as telling New York Magazine.

‘It felt great for somebody to be on his knee, and I had to sit on that knee because I was so excited and overwhelmed I couldn’t even stand.’

She added: ‘Knowing that I had his knee to sit on in that moment was very magical. The way I always wanted it to be.’

Jessica Simpson’s fashion line set to make $1bn this year

New York, Feb 14 – Jessica Simpson may not be doing too well in her music and acting careers, but her fashion line has never been better.
 

According to an article in New York Magazine that will hit shelves on Feb. 21, the pop singer’s fashion empire raked in 750 million dollars last year, and it’s expected to push to a jaw-dropping 1 billion dollars this year as she expands her collection.

And if the sales do indeed hit the 1 billion mark, the range will be become the first ever celebrity fashion line to do so.

That means Simpson’s volume of sales would rival fashion titan Michael Kors, reports the New York Daily News.

“I never thought I’d be some fashion mogul,” said the 30-year-old, who will add a full ready-to-wear collection and a career separates line later this year. (ANI)

Proposal moved Simpson to tears

Singer Jessica Simpson burst into tears when her fiance Eric Johnson proposed to her earlier this month because it came as “a total surprise”.

Johnson requested her parents’ permission before asking her to marry him, and she was so overwhelmed by the romantic gesture that she couldn’t stop crying.

“He had a plan a long time ago. He had a talk with my mom and dad about it…He was a gentleman about it. It was a total surprise,” femalefirst.co.uk quoted Simpson as saying.

“I said ‘yes’ and we both definitely were teary-eyed. I didn’t even try the ring on until five minutes in, I just sat there and cried with him,” the singer said.

Simpson was delighted with Johnson’s decision to buy her a ruby ring instead of a traditional diamond, because the gem is her birth stone.
