Karan Johar annoy while asking his sexual orientation

His sexual orientation has been the subject of many discussion for many years now, but Karan Johar still maintains that it’s only his business which side he bats for.
“I don’t care about what people’s perceptions are. People have questioned me about my orientation often. I feel it’s nobody’s problem. There are two words, private and personal, which I haven’t put in this English language, but I know they mean something, that’s why they are attached to the word ‘life’, private life and personal life.

It’s my prerogative to say “it’s not your problem; it’s none of your concern”. People don’t know any thing about me actually and I don’t want them to share whether I have a marriage hidden somewhere or I have a relationship that no one knows about or I don’t have anything and I am a monk in my head and I have taken an oath of celibacy,” said Karan in a recent interview.

Karan is currently basking in the glory of his ground-breaking film Dostana, which has brought the word gay out into the open.

Apoorva lakhia is back in bussiness with balaji

After the failure of Mission Istaanbul, buzz was that director Apoorva Lakhia was fading out of Bollywood. Says a catty director, "After Mission Istaanbul, he has been dumped by Popcorn Entertainment and Balaji Films.

Much probing and searching later Lakhia is indeed traced to his family in New York. When asked why he had left, Apu says, "I heard the film industry was in a total mess and not much was happening. So I was chilling in the US. Now I'm back in Mumbai. As for my friends dumping me Balaji Telefilms has given me a nice fat signing amount. If they don't want to work with me, no problem!"

Moreover, none of his friends like Sanjay Dutt, Abhishek Bachchan and Zayed Khan want to work with him."Says a source, "In fact, Lakhia had gone to Bangkok to sign Zayed for his next film. But after Zayed turned him down, Lakhia just left. He feels all his friends have turned their backs on him."

In fact, Apoorva is all set to start a film to be co-produced by HMV-Sa Re Ga Ma and Sohail Maklai. "It's a suspense thriller that I start in March 2009. I'm working on the script right now. People may love me or hate me.

I'll continue to make the films I believe in, no matter what. And for those who are wishing me to go away, let me inform them I'm not going anywhere in a hurry. I've to go home every year since New York is where I live." Lakhia needs to spend a part of each year in NY for visa purposes.

Subhash Ghai planning to remake Hero with Salman and katrina

The rumour spreading around Bollywood right now is that veteran director Subhash Ghai is planning to remake one of his biggest films – Hero, and that this time he wants Salman Khan for the lead role.

Talking to an Indian newspaper, Salman Khan himself brought up the news of a remake of Hero, saying, “I had heard two three scripts before Yuvvraaj. The scripts were good but I couldn’t play those characters. I wanted him to make Hero with me but Subhash ji said we would make it later. Then he came up with Yuvvraaj.”

This comment from Salman has given fuel to the rumour that Subhash is indeed going to cast Salman in the remake of Hero. A source from the Ghai camp, further adds, “Yes, Subhash ji is planning to remake Hero and has already thought about the actors.

The source reveals more, “The new Hero will be slightly different from the original and will be made for the audience now it will be an up-to-date version. Subhash ji is planning to shoot the film at an overseas location and hopes to complete it within 90 days, so that he can release it for end of 2009.

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif are his first choice of lead role. Salman would be playing the role made famous by Jackie Shroff and Katrina the role of Meenakshi Sheshadri. Subhash ji is waiting on the release of Yuvvraaj and will then start work on the remake.”
