Talking to an Indian newspaper, Salman Khan himself brought up the news of a remake of Hero, saying, “I had heard two three scripts before Yuvvraaj. The scripts were good but I couldn’t play those characters. I wanted him to make Hero with me but Subhash ji said we would make it later. Then he came up with Yuvvraaj.”
This comment from Salman has given fuel to the rumour that Subhash is indeed going to cast Salman in the remake of Hero. A source from the Ghai camp, further adds, “Yes, Subhash ji is planning to remake Hero and has already thought about the actors.
The source reveals more, “The new Hero will be slightly different from the original and will be made for the audience now it will be an up-to-date version.
