SRK, Anushka sizzle together as they shoot for jewellery brand

Long after debuting in Bollywood with Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma would soon be seen with the superstar again. The actors came together for the photo shoot for a leading jewellery brand commercial.

The king of romance was at his bewitching best, while the bubbly diva could not help swooning over the superstar. Shot by ace photographer, Dabbu Ratnani, SRK and Anushka dazzled for the shutterbug, displaying some inimitable chemistry.

Dressed in western outfits, King Khan and Anushka cozied up for the flashbulbs and the actress could not stop blushing.

Not to miss was Anushka's traditional avatar. Heavy polki jeweller teamed with a beautiful lehenga, she looked gorgeous with a capital 'G'.

SRK looked dashing in black as his style quotient remained unmatched.

Going by their terrific chemistry, their Bollywood fans cannot wait for the couple to scorch the 70 mm. They are set to return together on silver screen in Yash Raj Films’ next unnamed project which also features Katrina Kaif.

Priyanka Chopra’s beautiful cousin Parineeti Chopra who starred in Yash Raj flick, ‘Ladies v/s Ricky Bahl' is the latest muse of the Yash Raj camp.  News is that Yash Raj replaced Anushka Sharma with Parineeti Chopra.

Now Priyanka’s cousin will be cast in Habib Faisal’s movie opposite Boney Kapoor’s son Arjun Kapoor.

Anushka Sharma Want to work with Salman Khan

Bollywood Actress Anushka, 23, feels that rumours of link-up and break-up only create problems in the cordial relationship that the two actors share. The actress is sharing the screen with Ranveer in Ladies vs Ricky Behl.

In a recent interview, Anushka was quoted as saying that Ranveer cannot be trusted but the actress said she was quoted out of context. "Ranveer is a very good co-actor and I have a lot of respect for him. But he's impulsive at times. That's why I once said that he can`t be taken seriously and media took it in another way.

He says something one day, and something else the next," Anushka clarified.

The actress, who debuted with Shah Rukh Khan starrer Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, is reteaming with the actor in Yash Chopra's comeback project.

"I am happy that at such a young age I will be doing a film with three big shots -- Yash Chopra, Shah Rukh Khan and Aditya Chopra -- in a film. It is a dream offer for any actor and I am lucky to be the one," she said.

After working with Shah Rukh and Akshay Kumar, Anushka now wants to work with Salman Khan. "I have been very fortunate that I am getting to work with good actors. I don't have to go asking for roles. I am a huge fan of Salman and would love to work with him. He has got a different energy all together and I have heard that he's a good human being too," Anushka told reporters.

Asked about the catfight brewing between her and Sonakshi Sinha over Ranveer, the actress termed it as mere gossip. "I am at a very good stage of my career and such rumours put a question mark on my upbringing. Sonakshi is a brilliant actress and she's just a film old in the industry. I wish her a lot of success," she said.

Anushka walked the ramp on the concluding day of Blenders Pride fashion tour held in Delhi as the showstopper for designer Wendell Rodricks.

"Wendell discovered me as a model and actress. When I was not a renowned face in modelling, he gave me a chance in Bangalore to walk the ramp as his showstopper and that's how we share a strong bond with each other," she said.

What's cooking between Anushka and Arjun Kapoor?

Says a source connected with the studio, "Even though Aditya Chopra, Habib Faisal (director of Arjun's debut film Virus Diwan) and a few other friends were present at this outing, Arjun and Anushka were chatting and laughing as if they've know each other for years." He further informs that the two young actors were introduced to each other by Faisal. "Habib was involved in the writing of Band Baaja Baarat, so Anushka knows him well. Arjun has also become very friendly with him since he is directing Virus Diwan. So he's like a catalyst in their friendship, " explains our source, adding that even otherwise, the two actors connect regularly over the phone. So where does that leave Ranveer Singh? Our source tells us that he would be only too glad if Chopra casts a new girl opposite Arjun in Virus Diwan. He elaborates, "That's also because some girls have already been screen-tested for the part. But if Aditya and Habib aren't too impressed with them, it won't be surprising if they cast Anushka opposite Arjun in their new movie." Habib declined to comment on the casting. Katrina, Anushka fight over makeup man?

Katrina Kaif might have an impressive track record at BO, but Anushka Sharma is also not far behind with three mega hits (Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, Badmaash Company and Band Baaja Baaraat).

Recently the two actors had a catfight over, ahem, a makeup man. Katrina's makeup artist who has been working with her for a long time has also started working for Anushka Sharma.

The makeup artist had apparently informed Katrina about Anushka's shoot in London 15 days in advance, and the actor was reportedly fine with it.

But at the last moment, when the makeup artist, was about to leave for London, Katrina put her foot down. Reason? She had to finish the patch-up work for Yash Raj's Mere Brother Ki Dulhan.

A source told Mumbai Mirro, "Katrina on Sunday refused to let Subhash go for the assignment since she had some urgent patchwork shoot to finish on Monday. Subhash informed Katrina and her manager Sandhya that he wouldn't be able to cancel his trip to London since he had already got the visa and the tickets in place. But Katrina just wouldn't let go of him. In fact, she called in the higher authorities," added the source.

Katrina immediately reached Yash Raj Films and told them she wouldn't be able to shoot if the makeup guy leaves for Anushka's shoot. Aditya Chopra then called up Anushka and requested her to not take the guy along with her. Guess, what happened next?

Katrina's patch-up shoot got cancelled, and the poor make-up guy lost his London assignment as well!

"Anushka was very upset about having to go to London without a makeup man," the source told the tabloid.

Anushka Sharma and Ranveer Singh split again

On-off couple Anushka Sharma and Ranveer Singh have decided to give their rocky relationship a rest.

In the past, the couple has had many fights, breaking up and making up again. However, this time, the bone of contention seems to be another man — Ranbir Kapoor. Buzz is that Sharma has taken to RK like a moth to flame and is constantly seen by his side (most recently, at a movie outing last week).

This has irked Ranveer who feels like she's double timing him with Kapoor. After an argument at a friend's place, the two have decided to keep their distance and see other people for a while. Yep, time apart could do them good.

The actress's youth and her connections with YRF land her a role in Yash's untitled project with Katrina Kaif and Shah Rukh Khan.

It might appear that she is second fiddle to Katrina Kaif, but Anushka Sharma knows what's good for her.

The rapport that the young actress shares with YRF have made her an obvious choice for directors Yash and Aditya Chopra's much-talked about untitled project. Sharma will now join Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif, in Yash's directorial project since Veer Zaara, in 2004.

Our source explained, "The script requires a strong actor for the second lead in the film. Yash and Aditya were scouting around and then thought that Anushka seemed to be an obvious choice, for more than one reason.

The role required an actress, who looks younger than Katrina Kaif. And few actresses fit that requirement. Anushka was just the right choice. Plus, Yash Chopra is really fond of her."

If all goes as planned, this film will mark Anushka's fifth time working with YRF. Also, she is the only actress to work with both Yash and Aditya Chopra at the same time, unlike Kajol, Rani Mukerji, Aishwarya Rai and Preity Zinta, who have only worked with one of the two directors.

Despite repeated attempts, YRF remained unavailable for comment.

Ranveer, Anushka in Goa!

If Ranbir Kapoor's party was the time to throw caution to the wind and take their 'platonic friendship' stance a step ahead (Mumbai Mirror, May 7), Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma have now drowned all speculations in the sea by checking in to the same suite in a resort in Goa.

Both actors are in Goa currently, for the shoot of Ladies Vs Ricky Behl, the YRF film being directed by Maneesh Sharma of Band Baaja Baraat fame. "They checked in at around four in the evening and are here for shoots of their film.

They are expected to stay for a week," confirmed a source from the hotel. When asked whether the two actors were in fact living in the same room, the same source admitted in a "Yes". "But we can't give you anymore details on it," added the source.

Ranveer and Anushka have always denied any kind of romantic liasion since the speculations started while they were filming their film Band Baaja Baraat.

Calling it 'platonic friendship' even on a chat show hosted by Karan Johar, the actors who are right now shacking up together in a plush suite in a resort, had been quite vehement about their denial as well.

"This is an absolutely baseless story, Ranveer and Anushka are mere friends, and are doing a film together and therefore together most of the time. It's untrue that they are staying in the same room," said Ranveer and Anushka's spokesperson, when contacted.

However, she told us that the shoot has been going on in Goa for the last two weeks and most of the crew are staying in another hotel where the actors were earlier putting up. It was only on Sunday, they moved in to the other hotel.

Both are young, single and eligible and appeared to be getting on like a house on fire. Shatrughan Sinha's daughter has been praising Ranveer when around friends and directors. In fact she even started recommending the young actor to her producer friends and hinting that they would make a great pair if cast together. Anushka didn't take it kindly and has started talking against Shotgun's beti to filmi friends every chance she got." When quizzed about being upset with Sonakshi because she's been asking directors to cast Ranveer in their films opposite Sonakshi, Anushka says coldly, "I don't like to or encourage my friends to talk about other actors male or female. I am here in the industry to do my best (work) and mind my own business and expect the same from others. Work comes first Isn't she upset about Sonakshi's growing fondness for Ranveer? "I am leaving for a 40-day schedule for my next and would like to concentrate on just that. I have respect for all young achievers and co-actors and don't want to be part of these kind of rumours. Please keep me away from this." A source close to Sonakshi says, "Sonakshi has no clue that Anushka is upset with her or talking against her to her friends. In KWK, Sona had told Karan that from the younger lot one person she would love to work with is Ranveer as she loved Band Baaja Baaraat. Her two favourite stars, however, are Hrithik and Salman." Sinha's spokesperson maintains, "Sonakshi has never pitched any actors to any directors; she doesn't need to and knows better. The rest is hearsay. Sonakshi shares a healthy, cordial rapport with Anushka and these stories won't affect that."
