Vidya Balan has got the men drooling with her teasing moves in her forthcoming film The Dirty Picture. And just when you thought that the girl was going overboard with the “dirty” image, she has taken a complete U-turn in her next with director Sujoy Ghosh. KAHAANI is the story of a pregnant woman who is searching for her lost husband.
The film has been shot in Kolkata at real locations and if the director is to be believed, this will be one of Vidya’s most memorable performances. The surprise package in Kahaani is a song sung by Amitabh Bachchan, who has also been a part of Sujoy’s last film, Aladin.
The music of the film has been composed by Vishal-Shekhar and we’ve heard that they have worked really hard to come up with a different sound. The buzz about the film too seems positive. A few industry insiders who have seen portions of the film claim that this is her most bravura performance till date. Some say that Vidya of Parineeta and PAA is back in full form in KAHAANI.
