Why was Kristen Stewart turning fans away at Comic-Con? Robert Pattinson was reportedly greeting fans and making them feel welcome. What was up with Kristen?
According to a report from Hollywood Life, Stewart is typically known for being a very fan-friendly celebrity. So what happened that prompted her to turn fans away?
It seems that both Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart arrived at a San Diego hotel prior to Comic-Con. Several fans saw them emerge from their stretch limo and asked for autographs, photos and the like.
Apparently Robert Pattinson was more than happy to oblige, but Kristen wasn't having any of it.
Fans say this isn't the first time this sort of thing has happened either. When Kristen Stewart paid a visit to Robert Pattinson on the set of Cosmopolis, he signed loads of autographs and posed for photos with fans. Stewart stayed inside the limo.
This is a bit disconcerting. Kristen Stewart has become a celebrity icon because of these fans--most infatuated with her from her role as Bella in the Twilight series. How much effort would it take to oblige a few with an autograph and a kind word? And why--when Robert Pattinson is so obviously outgoing with his fans, would she chance creating such a reputation for herself?
Hopefully once Comic-Con is actually underway, Kristen Stewart will have a bit of an attitude change and treat each of her fans the way they deserve to be treated. Certainly no celebrity wants to be mobbed, or bothered while eating their dinner--but while stepping out of a limo outside of a hotel? How much harm could signing a few autographs have caused?
Ummm--none?
Here's another theory, however. It seems that some fans in recent days have stated they want 'proof' that Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are having sex! Now, isn't that overstepping the bounds of being a fan? Could this have something to do with why Kristen dissed the San Diego fans?
Hopefully Kristen was just having a bad day and will step up to the plate once Comic-Con is in action. On Friday, she and Robert Pattinson will be joined by Twilight star Taylor Lautner. One would hope that he will follow Rob's lead and treat fans with respect. Perhaps he can help nudge Kristen into a better mood, too?
