Rumour has it that she has split with Akash Karnataki, who she was dating since December 2009.
Apparently, Mona and Akash realised they were two very different individuals with dissimilar likes and dislikes. They started quarreling a lot and decided to take a step back before it became too ugly.
When Mona met Akash, it was love at first sight. Mona had kept the affair under wraps but Mumbai Mirror on May 25, 2010 broke the story about their visible chemistry in pictures.
