Circus is going a big hit Britney again on top

Britney Spears is back to where she belongs. With 'Circus' her comeback album topping music charts she is once again right at the top.

During the first week of its release, britny Spears' latest album sold about 505,000 copies. This is her fifth No.1 album. She is the first singer with four albums to sell 500,000 or more copies out of the gate the Los Angeles Times reported.

The second entry is Akon's 'Freedom' at No.7 after selling 111,000 copies. While Guns N' Roses 'Chinese Democracy' tumbled from No.3 to No.18 in the charts in its second week. The other new entries include Scarface's 'Emeritus,' at No.24 and Neil Young's 'Sugar Mountain' Live at Canterbury House 1968.

The pop star's biggest first week figure came in 2000, at the height of the teen pop craze, when "Oops! I Did It Again" rang up 1.3 million sales in a single week. 'Circus' is one of only two new albums to gain an entry in this week's top 10.
