Here's why Aarti Chabria opted out of a film with Akshay

Remember Aarti Chabria? Koi baat nahi ¦ if you don't. This actress was apparently offered an action-oriented role in an Akshay Kumar film.

Though she was more than excited to work with Akki, she insisted on reading the script. Now the makers were not comfortable to share the script with her. So she had to opt out.

Yeh kya baat hui? Why can't they share the script with someone who will be a part of the film?  Because she is a lady? Not acceptable.

Celebrity Fitness, Fitness Mantra of Gul Panag

Former Miss India Gul Panag is one of the hottest and most powerful Indian film industry, and has attracted the eye of his regular participation in a marathon every year.

An activist, animal lover, adrenalin junkie, adventurer, avid traveler and biker - the secret of her energy and enthusiasm lies in her fitness routine and disciplined lifestyle. So keep a pen and paper handy, here's what the charming Gul Panag told us about her fitness mantra.

How do you keep fit? What's your daily fitness routine like?
Gul Panag: For me fitness is a lifestyle choice - something that I adapt to suit my current situation. On a day when the weather is good, I choose an outdoor option - running, cycling, tennis, etc. On rainy days I do indoor activities like squash, yoga or strength training in the gym.

How important is daily nutrition and balanced food intake for you? What kind of an eating routine do you follow?
Gul Panag: What one eats is the key to how one looks and feels. There is absolutely no point in doing an hour's run if you are going to have a brownie and ice cream after it. Eating healthy is the key. And we all know what healthy is. Too much of something that doesn't naturally exist (desserts, deep fried foods and so on) can play havoc with our insulin and cholesterol levels, and of course undo all our fitness efforts.

Do you rely on any sports (group or endurance) for fitness pursuits? Could you tell us about how you train for them?
Gul Panag: I have been running marathons for 8 years now, and there is no better test of endurance. Striving for endurance is great, as it gives you more energy to cope with daily life's assaults on our stamina. Training for endurance is not rocket science, though it is a discussion in itself. I follow online modules - based on routines professional athletes follow.

What fitness advice would you like to share with our readers?
Gul Panag: Don't see fitness as something that's a burden you need to carry. It's a lifestyle choice you need to make for longevity and vitality. Take care of your body if you want it to last and complement you as long as you live.

I dance to Chammak Challo: Shah Rukh Khan

RA.One music and RA.One songs seem to be the anthem of the day. Actor Shah Rukh Khan's ambitious venture seem to have begun on a high, melodious note. The famous number - Chammak Challo - rendered by Akon is gaining much popularity and has already climbed the top of the charts.

In fact, Chammak Chalo is increasingly being played at nightclubs, and the foot-tapping beats have become a huge hit with the masses and DJs at large.

Another song that's being much applauded is 'Dildara'. Sung by Shafqat Amanat Ali, Dildara is a beautiful soft love song that can't be missed.

The music composers of this album Vishal-Shekhar are more than happy with the response RA.One is getting. "It gave us great opportunities. It was a lot of hard work and we are only glad that it's working!"

Of the 14 tracks, everyone involved with the film is finding it difficult to pick just one favourite.

Shah Rukh Khan at the music launch of RA.One profusely thanked his entire team and especially the music directors and technicians to bring to celluloid the first Indian super hero flick in 3D.

He also thanked his stunt double. "Everyone does the hard work for me. I just get the benefit. They do the stunts and all the difficult tasks. The only thing I do is dance to Chammak Challo," said SRK.

But, unfortunately, I only have a performance-oriented roles in "Halla Bol" and "Jail", where I'm dressed from head to toe. Even in my next movie "Ghost", Shiney Ahuja at the side, I play a doctor. Tinu Verma's Up "this weekend," I play a tomboy, with the exception of that song the one with the Rajneesh Duggal in which I'm wearing a sexy orange bikini. Thank God for the small mercy, "he added. Even if it is the second leader Salman-Kareena Kapoor starrer 'The Bodyguard', is happy that he could occur in acting skills.

"Technically, I was the second driver, but history is such that I'm here for nearly 80 percent of the film. It was a very important role, "she said. Born of an English father and an Indian mother, Hazel came to India five years ago and slightly gelled with the culture here, because as it says she grew up in a very traditional Indian homes, courtesy of his mother and grandmother.

"My mother is a Hindu and my Nani (grandmother) who stays with us it is very traditional and is Sari each days, doing puja. So finally the culture at home has been totally Indian. When I arrived in India, is just another country but the culture was the same as I grew up, "she said.

Kardashian's Kim-credible as Princess Leia

Looking sexy as Princess Leia ... Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian proved she could take a joke when she appeared in a skit while dressed as Princess Leia.

The US reality TV star joined forces with Kanye West when she donned the character's iconic gold bikini and braided locks in buns for a funny musical sketch.

Kim, 30, looked great in the revealing Princess Leia costume, showing off her curvy but toned, tanned figure.
The clip she features in was meant to be part of Kanye's new muppet show, Alligator Boots, which he made with hip hop star Rhymefest.

Funny sketch ... Kim and Kanye
It sees Kim, who recently wed Kris Humphries, serenaded by a crude muppet while a shocked Kanye looks on.

But the footage, which was released online yesterday, will never make it onto screens because the show failed to be commissioned.

It emerged the same week that Kim was mocked live on air by a US news anchor, who made fun of her and her sister Kourtney's voices and big shoulder pads after interviewing them.

Britney Spears' three ring Circus

Britney Spears sparked new rumours of an engagement when she flashed a sparkly ring yesterday.

The twice-married Circus singer held on to boyfriend Jason Trawick as she attended various interviews in London.

And she was sporting a big rock on her wedding finger, days after Jason was seen at top dollar jewellery store Mouaward in LA.

Britney is in the UK to film the video for her new single Criminal, which will feature a Bonnie and Clyde-style crime spree, before she kicks off her European tour.

Earlier this week she tweeted: "Decided to shoot the Criminal video in the streets of merry old England when I get there."

Wearing a checked shirt and black trousers, she smiled and waved at fans outside the Radio 1 studios and deliberately held out her hand to show the ring.

But the Circus star, whose spokesman has denied knowledge of an engagement, could well be teasing – and it wouldn't be the first time.

At Christmas, the 29-year-old posted a picture of herself sitting on Santa's lap, wearing a silver band on her left hand.

And she tweeted, "Ho ho ho, Merry Christmas tweethearts – Britney."

And in 2009, just months into the relationship, she wore another huge bauble to the Teen Choice Awards, prompting speculation of wedding bells.

Britney first wed childhood friend Jason Alexander in a Las Vegas chapel in January 2004 - but the marriage was annulled after 55 hours.

Months later, she tied the knot with dancer Kevin Federline, the father of her two sons Sean Preston, six, and Jayden James, five.

She filed for divorce in November 2006, two months after Jayden's birth.
