She was joined by another 30 VIP guests including Jeremy Hunt, Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson and Ruth Mackenzie - all of whom were there to view 30+ newly commissioned photographic portraits of athletes and key Olympic figures including Jessica Ennis, Victoria Pendleton and Tom Daley.
Kate cut quite the pretty picture as she stepped out of her car, all big glossy hair and megawatt smile, and into a MASSIVE STYLE STORM! Kind of.
Because not only does the Duchess' textured jersey dress nod to her love affair with all things aquatic blue but it's arguably her most fashion-forward look of late.
