Day 2 of the Lakme Fashion Week saw designer Swapnil Shinde use plastic as a fabric for his clothing line! The plated plastic was draped beautifully on his showstopper dress and we couldn't help but ask the designer which actress in Bollywood could pull it off.
"Definitely Kangana Ranaut! She has what it takes to carry off something as experimental as a plastic outfit! Sonam Kapoor is another actress who can do it. I loved the way she carried herself in that Jean Paul Gaultier Couture gown at Cannes" said Swapnil in a chat with TOI.
Speaking on plastic not being eco friendly, the designer clarified, "I am not going to make many pieces like these. It was just something I thought was creative. "
