Demi, 18, peered through her sunglasses and waved at the crowd of photographers as she strutted past them to check in for a flight to Florida.
Then the former Disney star took to Twitter to let her fans know where she was going by tweeting: 'Getting on a plane, Miami here I come!'
It's been a tumultuous past year for the teenage star, but her music career appears to be unaffected.
Her newest single, Skyscraper just debuted at number ten on the Billboard Hot 100 song chart, making it her most successful début yet.
According to Billboard.com, the ballad is also the second most downloaded single after LMFAO's Party Rock Anthem.
Demi, who has been working hard to promote her new music, is savouring her success after entering a treatment centre last November in Illinois.
The star recently revealed the extent of the problems, which led to her seek treatment.

However, according to the New York Daily News, the pair's fledgling relationship suffered when Phillippe's ex-girlfriend Alexis Knapp gave birth.
'It was really hot and heavy for a while,' a source told E! Online, but the arrival of Knapp's now two-week-old baby Kai 'kind of threw her for a loop'.
