When SRK's ego was bruised

SRKMany believed the face-off between Kolkata Knight Riders and Mumbai Indians was much more than just a match. But while Mumbai's owners the Ambanis could be seen in full force at the stadium, the knights were missing their honcho, SRK, all because his ego had been hurt the last time he was booed out.

In an earlier match, SRK's Knight Riders were playing Sourav's Pune Warriors, the first time Dada was playing against his home team. So, naturally the temperature was high.

“The last time Shah Rukh turned up for a KKR match in the city, he was booed by a large section of the crowd. It hurt him badly,” Shah Rukh Khan's friend and Juhi Chawla's husband Jai Mehta told Mumbai Mirror.

SRK was allegedly very hurt that his 'own people' had booed and jeered him out. “And he has vowed never to turn up for any KKR match in any of the city stadiums,” Jai Mehta added.

Shah Rukh has been known to get sentimental earlier too, when he was unable to face the criticism on the micro-blogging site Twitter. “Twitter broke my heart,” he said, “I need to cut myself off from negative energies,” he had tweeted.

Well, we hope he recovers soon from this injury.
