Though Ashutosh Gowariker's film Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey, featuring Abhishek Bachchan and Deepika Padukone failed to raise the flag high at Box Office, it however has managed to be a part of the Academy Of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences archives.
The Oscars library has asked Gowariker for the screenplay of the film which will be a permanent treasure in their core collection for the research of the future filmmakers, writers, actors and students worldwide.
The film has been presented by PVR Pictures and co-produced by Ajay Bijli, Sanjeev Bijli and Sunita A. Gowariker talks about a large group of young people who fought the a battle for India's freedom during the Chittagong Uprising 1930-34.
The film taken from the journalist Manini Chatterjee's book “Do & Die-The Chittagong Uprising 1930-34.” Screenplays of films like Rock On!!, Raajneeti and Action Replayy have also made it to the prestigious Oscar library.
