Aamir Khan joins the league of bad boys

Some actors take up lead roles after playing villains while some turn baddie after doing hero roles. Almost all the top actors in Bollywood have done villain roles at one point of their career. The reason behind it is that they want to try different roles. And soon, Aamir Khan, the perfectionist, too will join the ‘league of bad boys’.

Yes, Aamir is going to play a negative role in Dhoom 3 to be produced by Aditya Chopra and directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya. He will act along with Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra in the Dhoom sequel. He said that he is excited and looking forward to act in the film.

Looking at the past, almost all the big names in Bollywood have done villain roles. Amitabh Bachchan played a grey role in Aankhen and Sanjay Dutt played a bad guy with a good heart in Khalnayak. Shahrukh Khan did negative roles in the films like Anjaam and Baazigar and Akshay Kumar did it in Ajnabee. Ajay Devgn played a villain in Deewangee and so too Hrithik Roshan in Dhoom 2.

The list of actors, who have done negative roles, doesn’t end here. Abhishek Bachchan played a baddie in Yuva, Arjun Rampal as a menacing film producer in Om Shanti Om. Saif Ali Khan in Omkara, Akshaye Khanna in Race and the list goes on.

Going by the trend, it looks like an actor’s reel life is incomplete without doing grey roles. Welcome aboard Aamir!
