Riya Sen is a very talented Actress but her talent still unexplored

Bengali film director Rituparno Ghosh has recovered from his illness and is back in the international circuit with his upcoming film 'Noukadubi'. Premiering at the International Film Festival of India in Goa, 'Noukadubi' is Rituparno Ghosh's take on the Rabindranath Tagore classic.

And though the red carpet is used to witnessing the director a couple of times in the past, each of his films is accepted with the same amount of anticipation and excitement. 'Noukadubi' stars Riya Sen and Jisshu Sengupta in the lead roles.

Though Rituparno Ghosh has worked with Jisshu Sengupta in the past, this is his first full-fledged work with the younger of the Sen sisters, 'Abohomaan' being a very small role. Ask him on his working experience with Riya Sen, and pat comes the reply that she is a very talented actress.

Well, that may come as a surprise because Riya Sen can be called anything but talented, according to many inside the industry! Rituparno Ghosh though choose to differ, saying that Riya Sen's talent has still not been tapped by the Bengali as well as the Hindi film industries because most filmmakers tend to misunderstand the actress.

The director explains that while Raima Sen is the more known face among the two sisters, Riya Sen fails to get noticed because she does not interact with many people and does not have many friends inside the industry.

However, this does not mean that the girl is a snob, confirms Rituparno Ghosh. All that we can say is that Riya Sen too be seen in a role where she can walk home with a National Award winning performance, like so many of Rituda's leading ladies!

Harry Potter loves Bollywood and SRK also

'Deathly Hallows' actor Daniel Radcliffe (co-star of Emma Watson and Rupert Grint) has been donning the wizardry robes for nearly 10 years now, playing the central character of Harry Potter in the Warner Bros. fantasy franchisee.

Daniel has a humongous fan following in India and the wizard knows a thing or two about Bollywood. Admitting his love for Bollywood films, Radcliffe cites that he loves the song sequences because they make the film a lot more engrossing and entertaining.

Yes! He has watched a few Bolly flicks. However, he doesn't quite remember the difficult names, them being in Hindi with which he is not quite acquainted.

But when quizzed if he liked any actor, he was quick to name the Bollywood King Shahrukh Khan. Radcliffe cites that SRK has a huge fan following in Britain. Admitting his fondness for him, Dan hails him as the epitome of style and class.

Daniel (aka Harry) also professes his nostalgia now that the curtains have fallen on the Harry Potter films. For over a decade, he has lived the life of a wizard but now he has to move on. 'Deathly Hallows Part I' hits theaters on 19th of November and the concluding part shall release on July 15th the following year. Are you prepared for the end?

It was their first interface after their break-up. Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor bumped into each other in a TV studio in Mumbai recently. The two met backstage of ‘Koffee With Karan’. Ranbir Kapoor came out after completing his interview and Deepika Padukone stepped in to shoot hers.

Says an eyewitness about their interaction, “We had no instructions to ensure they didn’t bump into each other. The entire unit was stunned when they came face to face. They smiled, shook hands and had a brief talk, but were formal with each other”.

After looking at the photos of their meeting, body language experts commented, “Deepika seems anxious. There is evidence of some pain, which may come from unaddressed issues. Eye contact is being purposely avoided, Ranbir looks more comfortable than her,” says psychiatrist Deepak Raheja.

“Their body language is awkward. Their confused state of mind is evident in the way their hands and eyes are going in different directions,” says psychiatrist Sanjeev Kalra.
