Shahrukh Khan charms Dhaka crowd


Whether it is India or Bangladesh, bollywood badshah Shahrukh Khan's admirer is everywhere and he also knows how to win the hearts of his fans. His live show in Dhaka was a hit. He has been able to win over the hearts of the people of Dhaka with his dance and bits and pieces of Bangla speaking.
When King Khan appeared on the stage, over 25,000-strong audience comprising mostly youngsters kept chanting his name, "Shah Rukh", "Shah Rukh".  Shahrukh who led a team of bollywood stars like Rani Mukerji and Arjun Rampal along with some singers said in Bengali: "Ami Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman-er deshey Bharatbarsho thekey onek onek bhalobasha aar shubhechcha boye enechhi." (I bring India's good wishes to the nation of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Bangladesh's founding leader).

"I've heard of Kazi Nazrul Islam, Jasimuddin. I love Runajee's (Runa Laila) music. That's why I'm in Dhaka," Shah Rukh has been quoted saying.

Rani Mukerjee danced to a medley of hit songs from her films, including "Saathiya", "Hum Tum" and "Shava Shava" while Arjun Rampal arrived on a motorbike.
SRK and Rani also danced together on songs like ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ and ‘Mitwa’ and won the hearts of Bangladesh.
