So how many times had you watched "Dirty Dancing" before you made this film?
Once
Ryan said that you were afraid to be lifted into the air like that?
Yeah, I did have a panic attack. That was a stunt double. That was a stunt double, from a distance. We tried a couple of times, but it didn't end up working out for me.
Did he drop you or something?
No, he didn't do anything wrong. He keeps thinking that I was afraid that he was going go drop me. Did you see how strong he was? He was pretty muscley.
How do you feel about how men pick up women in the way that Ryan Gosling's character, Jacob, does in the film?
Well, I know a lot of guys, to be honest with you, that don't pick up women in that way or that have figured out that women figured that out a long time ago, and have outsmarted the situation. Although, I do see the game. I see the game a lot, you know that. The insult, compliment, insult, compliment, insult, compliment. So, that's the new pickup line. The game. It works.
What was it like playing the romantic one? Oftentimes in films, I think women want to see the men do it. Your character does it in this film. What was that like?
It was really great. The tables turned. He's shirtless and I'm wearing all my clothes. It's fantastic.
In real life, would you ever be attracted to someone like Ryan? His character, not him.
Why not him?
Because we are talking about " Crazy, Stupid, Love."

He starts out a bad guy.
He doesn't start out a bad guy. He starts out a guy that's going through something that he hasn't really examined, just like Hannah. They're both people that haven't really looked at what they're doing with their lives, and then they kind of force each other to see who they truly are, pretty vulnerable goofy.
What attracts you in other people?
Vulnerability and honestly. I don't like where you can sense that they're not telling you something or they're being strong. I think it's a lot sexier and a lot stronger when they admit what they're afraid of. That's probably the only one thing. And sense of humour, of course. Anybody would say that, but that's huge.

A 'choli' for Paris Hilton
Mumbai-based designer Rocky S is styling the world's most famous socialite, Paris Hilton, before and during her India visit. Yes, DT has learnt that Rocky S will be styling Hilton during her visit to the country, and has already met her earlier this month in Los Angeles.
Sharing the news with DT, Rocky said, "I am styling her for all her events and everything else during her visit to India. I also went to Los Angeles to shoot with her for a mag cover that she has done this month." On being asked about the look, Rocky refused to share details, but did say that Paris wore a choli!
And as far as her appearances in India are concerned, Paris only wants Indian looks, says Rocky, adding, "She only wants to wear Indian clothes when she comes here. I am putting a lot of designers' stuff together; she wants to wear Indian designers. She is excited about them because when we shot in LA, she really went crazy about the clothes. This is the first time that I've worked with her. And she is such an amazing woman. I think she is very intelligent, very well-travelled and knows exactly what looks good on her. And she is aware of her own transformation. She knows that this thing is in fashion or that thing will look nice on her, and she combines that with her own personality." Rocky also says that she's well-informed about Indian fashion and that's why he'll put multiple looks together for her to choose from, once she arrives here on September 24.

Many don’t realize queen Rihanna is only 23 years old, and has been teasing that her sixth album is going to hit store shelves before the calendar flips to 2012?To bring up a totally reasonable analogue, John Lennon had only released his first album at 23. At this rate, Rihanna just about due for a Britney Spears-esque career retrospective at next year’s VMAs and will be passing Neil Young’s album output before a reasonable mid-life crisis can even set in.
In any event, Rihanna has been letting her over seven million followers on Twitter that she has been in the studio working on the follow-up to 2010?s Loud, a fact originally reported on in Entertainment Fall Music Preview.
Rihanna promises that the new tracks, which fill her with excitement, will be out this fall, which essentially puts Loud to bed and will create a seamless transition from that album’s most recent single (the just-released “Cheers (Drink to That)”) and whatever new jam Rihanna be dropping from the new one.
With that in mind, let’s unpack Loud, an album that left the post-Chris Brown survivalist instincts of Rated R in the dust in favor of a more traditional pop collection. There were seven official singles from Loud, which is pretty jaw-dropping considering there are only 11 total tracks on the whole thing.
Of those singles, four of them (“Only Girl (In the World),” “What’s My Name?,” “S&M” and “Cheers (Drink to That)”) were big successes (the first three topped the Billboard Hot 100, while the latter currently sits at number 10). The other three (“Man Down,” “California King Bed” and the Nicki Minaj collaboration “Raining Men”) were pretty much DOA (despite the chart dominance of both of the women involved, “Raining Men” didn’t even chart on the Hot 100, which is a remarkable considering that even the minor songs from any random episode of Glee end up charting somewhere).
But on the whole, Loud should be considered a commercial success, especially considering the album as a whole moved a million and a half copies over the course of a year.
Aesthetically, Loud felt like a step back from the darkness of Rated R, but found Rihanna exploring more of the outer limits of her pop personality. Some of those experiments didn’t quite work ( Rihanna doesn’t have the chops to be a balladeer, which made the torch-song quality of “California King Bed” land with a thud), but most of the grooves really work.
Rihanna was able to integrate more of her island upbringing into “Man Down” (a criminally underrated track with a pretty mind-blowing video), and the breezy groove on “What’s My Name?” made Rihanna a perfect tag-team partner for lounge-hopper Drake. And even though it’s sort of ridiculous, there’s something undeniably infectious about “S&M.”
So where does Rihanna go from here? Will her forthcoming album pick an avenue of concentration, or will it be another a-little-of-everything affair? (The latter seems more likely, doesn’t it?)

She has been busy shooting her latest film portraying the Evil Queen in Snow White recently but yesterday was family time for the Pretty Woman star.
Julia Roberts, 43, spent the day hanging out with her twins Hazel and Phinnaeus out in L.A. yesterday.
The mother of three had left her youngest Henry at home as she took the six-year-olds out for the day.
Julia looked like any other mother dressed in a pair of jeans, an oversized blue shirt and a pair of plimsoll shoes.
The actress had also donned a pair of sunglasses and her hair loose showing off blonde highlights.
And while Julia is no doubt used to having ‘people’ to pick up after her she was carrying her twins toys in one hand and holding onto Finn with the other.

Tanu-Manu sequel also set in UP
The hugely successful " Tanu Weds Manu", starring Kangna Ranaut and R Madhavan is all set to return to UP - Kanpur in the story, Lucknow, on location - for its sequel.
According to the film director, Aanand L Rai, there were initially no plans of a sequel to the movie. "But while working on another project, I hit upon an interesting story idea - one that required the same characters and the same space if it had to be told. And so, it made sense to come up with a sequel," he says. About shooting in the same locations in UP as he had the last time, he adds, "The story, the people, the atmosphere is bringing us back."
The writer of "TWM", Lucknowite Himanshu Sharma is also working on the sequel. "Aanand and I had been contemplating a sequel to "TWM" and only three days back we decided to go ahead with it," he says, adding, "So now we are working out the final script."
Telling us a bit more about "TWM 2", Himanshu says, "This time the story will be more crazy than the previous one. We're going all out for a mad rom-com. The audience will love it."
The makers are keen on roping in Kangna and Madhavan for the sequel as well. While things are still in the nascent stage, Rai says that that's the plan. "Since we have just hit upon the idea we are trying to work things out," adds Himanshu.
Haven't signed any film with Salman Khan: Angela Johnson
She has denied the rumours. "There is no movie in pipeline with Salman Khan, but I would love to work with him in future. And as soon as I will sign any film you guys will know," Angela, who plans to make a career in Bollywood, told reporters at Blender's Pride Fashion Tour, Friday night. Rumours were abuzz that actor-producer Sohail Khan is keen to launch Angela in his home production titled "Sher Khan". Angela walked as the showstopper for designer Rocky S wearing a cream gown. The collection was intended to give a "red carpet look" for both men and women. Angela first came into limelight with her alleged romance with Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir. Asked about her relationship status, she said: "I don't want to comment on Ranbir because whatever is being said is just a rumour."
SRK gesture towards my brother a bit late: Juhi
Recently, at the music launch of 'Ra.One', Shah Rukh had dedicated the music of his forthcoming film to Bobby, who is in coma for over a year after brain haemorrhage.
"I want to dedicate this album to Yash Joharji and Bobby. When we started our company Red Chillies Entertainment... the one who helped me start was Bobby," Shahrukh had said at the music launch function here.
Bobby is CEO of Red Chillies, a film production house founded in 2002. There were reports that Juhi was miffed with Shahrukh as she felt the appreciation came late.
"I am not lashing out at Shah Rukh. But yes I do feel that why do we always talk about a person after the phase is over. I wish it (acknowledgement for contribution to Red Chillies success) was sooner," Juhi said.
"The other day I was coming from (ace fashion photographer) Gautam's condolence meet... and I felt why do we talk about a person when he is not around. How many times have we said how much that person meant to us... when that person was around... we did not. But the moment the phase is over we
remember the person," she said.
Asked if they had spoken to each other after the incident, Juhi said, "He (SRK) does not have time. He is workacholic... he works 20 hours a day... so where is the time?"
Earlier also Juhi had rued that the superstar does not have time for his old friends anymore. Juhi and Shah rukh have been good friends. Both have starred together in several films including 'Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman', 'Darr' and 'Yes Boss'.
