Jessica Alba bags role in next 'Spy Kids'

Jessica Alba
Actress Jessica Alba , who is expecting her second child, says her multi-tasking skills impressed director Robert Rodriguez so much that he created a role for her in the next instalment of Spy Kids".

This is not her first film with Rodriguez
- she had teamed up with him for action movie "Machete".

"When I was shooting 'Machete', him seeing me trying to change my kid's diaper and take conference calls and I'm on the set trying to learn lines and trying to do a million things at once, kind of inspired him to write the character that I play - a woman who's trying to do a million things at once," contactmusic.com quoted Alba as saying.

The actress has a daughter Honor with husband Cash Warren and now they are expecting their second child, which is due next month.

The singer says even Rodriguez is good at handling various responsibilities.

"When I became a mother (first time), I talked to him (Rodriguez) about getting back to work and how does he do it - how does he juggle spending time with his family (and his five children) but also focus on his career because he's done it so well," she said.

Kristen Stewart not 'hot'

Kristen Stewart
Kristen Stewart "can't stand" being called "hot".

The 'Twilight' actress - who was voted sixth sexiest woman in the world in an FHM magazine poll last year - hates it when people praise her for her appearance, insisting she doesn't feel as attractive as she is perceived to be.

When asked how she feels about being called "hot," Kristen replied: "I can't stand that. What does that even mean? I don't feel hot."

The actress - who is dating her 'Twilight Saga' co-star Robert Pattinson -gets self conscious of people when she is out in public, although she admits she would do the same if she saw a celebrity in the street.

She told Closer magazine: "I have to pick and choose where I'm going. I have can become very reclusive. Sometimes I'm like, 'Oh, I can't deal with anything right now, I can't see anybody.'

"I know what I'm like, and if I knew that an actor was nearby, I'd be interested.

"I'm a people watcher and I'd definitely choose that person to watch. It's human nature to look at others and everyone is the same. So for a while I was definitely a bit self conscious.

I don't believe in competition: Sonakshi Sinha

The one-film old Sonakshi Sinha is giving other actresses a run for their money by bagging endorsements and big films, but the Dabangg girl says she doesn't consider herself as part of the competition.

"I don't look at it that way. I think everybody here has something to offer. Everyone has their own charm and their own personality. Everybody brings something new and something different for the audience. I don't believe in competition," Sonakshi told IANS. She was in the capital Wednesday for the launch of new Pantene Hair Control shampoo.

She has got a fat role in Race 2, which was supposed to be played by Katrina Kaif. The 24-year-old has a practical outlook about someone stepping into someone else's shoes.

"If someone is not able to do a film, someone else has to take his or her place. It's just being at the right place at the right time," she said.

Right now her kitty is full of films. She is shooting for Shirish Kunder's Joker and is about to start shooting for Rowdy Rathore, both of which have Akshay Kumar as her co-star. Then she has Race 2 and Son of Sardar.

The actress, who debuted with Salman Khan in Dabangg, has got another film called Kick with the star.

"I am happy that I am working with some of the best and I consider myself very fortunate enough to have got such a chance," she said.

Sonakshi's rumoured cold war with actress Neetu Chandra and Anushka Sharma being miffed with her over her growing proximity with actor Ranveer Singh have been the talk of B-town -- however, Sonakshi doesn't care about it any more.

"I don't take such rumours seriously. I have stopped reading the newspapers and I am very happy. I used to feel bad initially but now I believe it is better to let people talk about you rather than not talk about you at all. I just turn a deaf ear and carry on with my work," she said with a carefree attitude.
