Sonia Agrawal is back after marriage

Sonia Agarwal debuted in the Tamil film industry with Kadhal Kondein in 2003 and went on to act in quite a number of films including 7G Rainbow Colony and Thiruttu Payale. The actress went into a short hibernation following her marriage to director Selvaragahvan who introduced her to Kollywood.

However, the actress in her seemed to have still remained intact and probably this could be the reason behind her role Radhika in Naanal. Naanal is a tele serial written and produced by Kushboo Sundar. This mega serial will be telecast from December 15th in Kalaignar TV.

No uncle say bhaia to me : Rahul Mahajan

'Bigg Boss' participant Rahul Mahajan, who will be judging a children's stand-up comedy reality show along with actor-director Sachin Pilgaonkar, said he has asked the participants to address him as 'Bhaiya' and warned them of cutting points if they called him 'uncle'.

Rahul said: 'I might have troubled everyone during 'Bigg Boss', but the children are much smarter than me. They interview me and ask such questions which are sometimes very difficult to answer. I have asked them to address me as 'Bhaiya' and said that their marks would be cut if they call me 'uncle'.'

Rahul Mahajan said the decision to appoint him a judge was that of the channel on the request of the children as they liked him in 'Bigg Boss'. 'I did not know the kids but they knew me as they saw me in 'Bigg Boss'. They liked me in the show and were happy to see me as the judge,' he said.

Rahul along with Sachin will be judging the stand-up comedy reality show 'Chhote Miyan', in which 13 children will try to outsmart one another with new jokes, gags and stand-up acts. The show produced by Endemol India will be hosted by TV actress Juhi Parmar and noted comedian-actor Kapil Sharma.

Priynka supporting her beau harman

Priyanka is currently shooting for Ashutosh Gowarikar's What's Your Rashee? The actress has donned 12 different looks in the film. This will be her second film after Love Story 2050 with beau Harman Baweja. Ask her about having any insecurity of starring with beau Harman, Priyanka defends him with all gusto.

She have been part of all the special effects cinema like Krrish, Drona and Love Story 2050. One did well and two didn't do well but that does not affect me. I have been working hard each day. I have not taken a single day off. I think it's time for me to take that day off now," she said.

If actors picked films just because their first film didn't do well, we would all be out of work now. My first film Heroes didn't do well either nor did Abhishek's first film Refugee. He has signed Ashutosh Gowarikar film and he knows what he is doing. Ashutosh knows what he has in his hands when he chose Harman for the film. If that was the case, I would be out of work now. My four films didn't do well this year. Give him a chance to prove himself," she says.

But for now, Piggy Chops is taking it easy and enjoying the attention of her beau, Harman Baweja, on the sets as well as off the sets

Akki Jumbo and Aamir Ghajini may Clash box office

"We have purposely pitched Jumbo against Ghajini because we feel that our film has the ability to stand against a big commercial film," said Shailendra M. Singh, managing director of Percept Picture Company. Jumbo that is scheduled to release on Dec 25 is an animation film where the protagonist, an elephant, sets out in search of his parents.
Bollywood actors Akshay Kumar, Lara Dutta, Dimple Kapadia, Rajpal Yadav, Gulshan Grover and Asrani are some of the voices behind the animated characters.

"Children's content is not a priority in our country. However, we want to change this scenario. In my view Jumbo is not just an animation film, which deserves to be only in the children film category. I want it to be in the general film category, viewed by people of all ages," said Singh, who has plans to rope in cricketer Yuvraj Singh as the Punjabi voice of Jumbo.

The film, which is dedicated by Akshay to his six-year-old son Aarav will have a special screening at his place before it formerly hits the screens
Percept Picture Company's animation caper Jumbo, might be a film under children's content category, but it aims to give tough competition to Aamir Khan's much-awaited film Ghajini, releasing on the same date.

Prabu Deva back on the sets of Villu.

It's the best way to get over one’s personal tragedy. Recently after the Mumbai massacre, the Manager of Taj Hotel whose family was wiped out by the terrorist, preferred to stay on at work rather than go into mourning. It is a very tough thing, especially when you have lost your dear ones.

Prabhu Deva who was shattered by the death of his son is trying to put back his tears, remorse and grief by throwing himself on his work. We salute the spirit and commitment of Prabhu Deva. A day after the sad demise of his son Vishal, Prabhu was back on the sets of his Villu.

The Villu unit shot some patchwork to the climax and the Shubham scene. Later on a huge set at Binny Mills, the introductory song of Vijay was being shot. It was choreographed by Vijay's opening song specialist Asok Raj, who has done many of his hit songs. Ayngaran Music will be launching the Villu audio on December 15. Dil Kabaddi Movie review: Just OK to watch

Cast:Irfan Khan, Rahul Bose, Soha Ali Khan, Payal Rohatgi, Rahul Khanna
Director: Anil Senior
Producer: Shailesh R. Singh
Music: Sachin Gupta

The Movie:Heavily inspired by Woody Allen's 1992 film HUSBANDS & WIVES, DIL KABADDI is bold and piping hot for the Indian audiences. The question is not whether Indian audiences are ready for a theme like this. The question is, does the script hold your attention for the next 2 hours? Sadly, it doesn't!

Dil kabbadi has no plot as such and debutante director Anil Senior adopts an abstract style of storytelling. It's more of an assemblage of assorted incidents and individualistic sequences. At several times, the characters keep talking to the camera, talking of their feelings, fantasies and thoughts.

Dil kabddi is a marital comedy that delves into the lives of two couples who are caught in the web of post-marital boredom. How the couples deal with an irresistible temptation of lurking out of the relationship for some fun is what the film explores. It's essentially a take on some urban relationships.

It works in bits and spurts, but not in totality. The script suffers mainly because there's no beginning, no middle, no end. Just assemblage of assorted sequences!

Dil Kabadi is rich in performances and that's because of the presence of such accomplished actors. Irrfan Khan is in terrific form. Soha Ali Khan is getting better and better. She's excellent! Rahul Bose is fabulous. Konkona Sen Sharma is brilliant. Rahul and Konkona's scenes are amazing. Rahul Khanna is first-rate. Payal Rohtagi is good. Saba, as Rahul's student, is a complete natural.

There's tremendous shock-value in DIL KABADDI. Just about everything related to the sex life is discussed in this film. A few sequences do register an impact, like the one when Irrfan goes out on a date with his office colleague and ends up doing shirshasana. Also, Rahul Bose's student demanding a passionate kiss on her birthday. And the sequence at the party when Payal Rohatgi ends up giving aerobic lessons to some senior citizens... But after a point, the narrative gets monotonous and worse, verbose.

On the whole, Dill Kabaddi has shock-value, but not a strong plot to leave an impact. At the box-office, it caters to a niche audience. It's a film for a handful of multiplexes in a handful of cities. At most places, this 'Kabaddi' will run out of breath. Strictly for adult viewing!

Govinda delaying Banda Yeh Bindaas Hai

It seems that the actor is driving producer-director Ravi Chopra mad. The shooting of the film in question, Banda Yeh Bindaas Hai, is more or less complete and the actor is playing truant about giving dates for the film's dubbing. His other co-stars in the film, Lara Dutta and Tabu have already finished their portion of the dubbing.

Actor Govinda still continues to play all his old tricks on his hapless directors. Despite managing to make a comeback after a long lean period the actor refuses to mend his ways. One would have thought that the actor would have been grateful for the second chance that life has given him.

Govinda does not seem to have the time to dub or complete the last couple of scenes that are left to can. If that is not enough to drive some one mad, then what is? Meanwhile, Chopra has started work on his next film, Pocket Maar, which will star Amitabh Bachchan and Shahid Kapur. It is scheduled to go on the floor next year.
