Akshay Kumar plays coolest role of his career in ‘Housefull 2′: Sajid Khan

Mumbai – Sajid Khan is busy with the sequel to his comedy “Housefull” and says that Akshay Kumar will be seen in a never before seen avatar in it.

In “Housefull 2″, Akshay’s role has apparently gone back to the storyboard. “Golmaal” writers Sajid-Farhad have been roped in to write the part.

“We’ve really enhanced the cool quotient for Akshay in ‘Housefull 2′. The Akshay that you’ll see in ‘Housefull 2′ has never been seen before,” said Sajid.

According to sources, the script for the sequel has devised some of the scariest action sequences ever. Apparently Akshay’s introductory stunt in “Housefull 2″ would be directed by Robert Alonzo who is Tom Cruise’s stunt co-ordinator in “Mission Impossible 4″.

Sajid doesn’t deny the James Bond influence on “Housefull 2″. 

He said: “If Akshay played a ‘Sad Sack’ in ‘Housefull’, he plays the coolest character of his career in ‘Housefull 2′. Yes, James Bond is a deep influence on me. As a child I remember seeing exotic countries as locations in the Bond films.”

Britney Spears to appear on V mag cover

New York, Feb 26 – Britney Spears has landed the cover of high-fashion glossy V.

Sources said photographer Mario Testino shot Spears, mother of two sons, for the upcoming issue, her first cover since appearing on UK fashion title Pop last year, reports the New York Post.

The ‘Toxic’ hitmaker is also set to release her new album ‘Femme Fatale.’ 

Spears has announced she”ll perform in San Francisco for ABC’’s ‘Good Morning America’ March 29, the same day ‘Fatale’ hits shelves. (ANI)

Miley Cyrus upset with dad’s comments in GQ interview

New York, Feb 26 – Miley Cyrus is apparently upset with her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, for saying that he’s ‘scared’ of her future.

“Miley is upset,” a source told People of the teen starlet’s reaction to Ray’s candid GQ interview.

Billy Ray had said he was concerned about her daughter’s increasingly wild behavior – including smoking salvia from a bong and celebrating her 18th birthday in a bar.

He also blamed “Hannah Montana” for causing problems within their family, which includes mom Tish and four siblings.

“She’s very hurt and angry,” the New York Daily News quoted a source as saying.

But the father-daughter duo will likely get past it eventually.

“Miley is very forgiving of her dad,” the insider said. “In the end, they are a loving family, and they’ll pull through this in their own way,” the source added. (ANI)

Abhay Deol refuses to go topless

Mumbai, Feb 26 – Bollywood actor Abhay Deol was asked to take off his shirt for a scene in Zoya Akhtar’s next film “Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara”, but he firmly refused to do so. The reason — he has hair on his chest.

Zoya had asked him and Hrithik Roshan, who also plays a lead role in the film, to go topless in a scene. Hrithik obliged but Abhay refused to bare his chest, a source said.

“Abhay refused to take off his shirt as he doesn’t prefer to shave his chest hair,” the source told IANS.

“Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara” is a fun-filled road film shot largely across Spain and apart from Hrithik and Abhay, also seen in pivotal roles will be Farhan Akhtar, Katrina Kaif and Kalki Koechlin.

The film is scheduled to hit theatres June 24.

Angelina has a message for Brad Pitt in pendant

London, Feb 26 – Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie has reportedly got a special pendant made for her partner Brad Pitt. Based on ancient Egyptian amulets, the gift has a secret love message lasered on it, which no one can read without a microscope.

The 35-year-old actress commissioned London-based jeweller Robert Procop to make the piece for Pitt, whom she has been living for six years.

“I can’t tell you what it says, and you would need a microscope to read it. The technology is quite new. The hidden message is lasered on it,” contactmusic.com quoted Procop as saying. 

Formerly a chief executive of upmarket jeweller Aspreys, Procop also revealed that he is going into business with the star to create a line called “The Style Of Jolie”.

Last year, the “Tourist” actress teamed up with Pitt to create a gold and silver collection for Asprey, with all profits donated to the Education Partnership for Children of Conflict, which she co-founded.

Madonna is a fantastic mother: Kelly Osbourne

London, Feb 26 – Singer Kelly Osbourne, who is the new face of Madonna and her daughter Lourdes’ fashion line – Material Girl, seems to be in awe of her, as she thinks Madonna is a “fantastic mother”.
 

Osbourne, 26, met the mother-of-four after becoming the model for her and 14-year-old daughter’s fashion range.

“It completely changed my opinion of her and made me like her even more once I met Lola (Lourdes) because she’s done a fantastic job with her,” dailystar.co.uk quoted Osbourne as saying.
