January Jones dubbed ‘the most glamorous actress of our time’

Italian fashion designer Donatella Versace has heaped praise on ‘Mad Men’ star January Jones.

In a behind the scenes video of her recent ad campaign, the woman behind the Italian luxury brand said she chose the 33-year-old spokes model to be the face of Versace accessories because “she looks like the most glamorous actress of our time.”

Jones appears nude in the ads for Versace accessories, save for high-heeled shoes and a strategically placed handbag.

“She’s a girl who has no fear,” the New York Daily News quoted designer as saying. (ANI)

How parenting classes have helped Helena Bonham Carter, Tim Burton

Brit actress Helena Bonham Carter has revealed that techniques learned in parenting classes have helped her become stricter with director hubby Tim Burton.

The 44-year-old ‘King’s Speech’ star said her life has transformed after her husband ‘changed’ following his attendance at the child relationship lessons.

The couple, who two kids, had employed ‘childcare guru’ Noel Janis-Norton, to help them overcome parenthood difficulties.

“It helped me tremendously with the kiddies and I also found it invaluable in dealing with Tim. It’s terrific, he’s a changed man,” the Telegraph quoted her as telling the Daily Mail.

“What it does is make people think for themselves instead of me, the mother, doing everything for them.

“Tim used to say ‘where’s such and such’ and I would scurry around looking for it. Now I make him do it – and the same with the kiddies,” she said.

She added, “It just stops you running around doing every single thing for them. It has changed my life. I think because it has taken the stress out of parenting, or some of it at least, I will probably live 10 years longer.” (ANI)

Shah Rukh Khan –Madhuri Dixit: To Set 56th Filmfare Awards Stage On Fire

Only few more hours to go before the fight for the beautiful black lady will be on in full throttle but something more is going to attract the audience this time at the 56^th Filmfare Awards night. After almost a decade Shah Rukh Khan and Madhuri Dixit will be teaming up for the audience. This time, however, it won’t be for the big screen but for the live audience present at the Filmfare Awards.

Madhuri has tweeted recently that she is having a great time rehearsing with SRK for their act on-stage and her tweet just revealed the excitement she has. Over the years Madhuri has always stated that Shah Rukh is his favorite co-stars. Also, recently the actress with the billion dollar smile preferred to cook for King Khan instead of any other Khans in spite of acting with Aamir and Salman too.

Shah Rukh on the other hand has maintained that he considers only Madhuri to be the Bollywood diva and no one else. Shah Rukh and Madhuri will perform to various numbers from the films that they have acted together and one just hope to see the famous “Chane Ke Khet Mein” number that is so much loved by SRK. So while Salman will be slogging it out with Shah Rukh in various award categories, already the SRK has taken the icing on the cake of the Filmfare Awards’ night. The coveted black lady of the industry will grace the homes of many actors, actresses, technicians, producers and directors tonight and it will be later telecast by Sony TV on 6^th of Feb 2011.

Johnny Depp on green tea diet for ‘Dark Shadows’ role

Johnny Depp is busy losing weight drinking gallons of green tea.

The star is on the brew diet, as his character in the forthcoming film ‘Dark Shadows’ requires a thin and bony look.

Depp is aiming to get down to 10st so he looks as gaunt as possible, reports the Sun.

‘Dark Shadows’ is a vampire flick and tells the tale of bloodsucker Barnabas Collins, played by Depp.

The movie is directed by Depp’s friend and frequent collaborator Tim Burton.

Depp is propping up his green tea diet by eating plenty of “low fructose fruit” such as pineapple and strawberries. (ANI)

Kate Price to launch her own fashion range

It seems Kate Price a.k.a Jordan wants to become a fashionista following her split from hubby Alex Reid.

The former glamour model will debut her new budget-price collection next month and her range will include handbags, sunglasses and posh frocks.

She is teaming up with London designer Lamis Khamis for the new range, which is called Day 22 and will be an affordable set of clothes and accessories for men and women.

“Kate really wants this new fashion range to be a huge success,” the Daily Star quoted a source close to her as saying. (ANI)

Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif: Spotted In Juhu In A Red Sports Car Taking A Ride

Bollywood stars and their off and romantic liaisons have always been quite amazing to the outside world. However every time a happy twosome from tinsel town  is seen on the streets chilling out there were  speculations that something was  really going on between them.

Thus when recently the great looking twosome Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif were seen having a great time together in the Kapoor lad’s red sports car the Audi R8 in the Juhu area of Mumbai it became a great sensational piece of  news.

Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif were constantly linked with each other after having appeared in the block buster flick Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani and were always spotted together giving more  rise to speculations about their real life romance. However all that was blown into oblivion when Ranbir was linked with his co star Nargis Fakhri in the Imtiaz Ali flick Rockstar.

Now since Ranbir is back to town after having finished his shooting in Gurgaon for Rockstar there he was caught taking his lady love for a great jolly ride.

Well whether the two are really love birds or just friends is something we’ll have to wait n watch, but let’s hope the best for the two best looking stars in Bollywood in the forth coming Valentine’s day!

Priyanka Chopra’s Chartered Accountant Says IT Officials Found Only Rs.50, 000

For Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra, the week started with a sudden raid at her residence and office by the Income Tax officials. Since then, a news was doing the rounds that the officials have recovered a huge amount unaccounted assets of Rs 6 crore during that raid.

However, the chartered accountant of the actress made it clear that the amount recovered by the authorities was less than Rs 50,000. He added that this little amount was also accounted in the books like all her earnings. He rubbished the media reports saying that Priyanka and her immediate family members’ properties have been declared at various times when required.

In fact, the account said that the entire jewellery of the actress and her family, have also been accounted. He repeatedly said that no undisclosed assets were found by the I-T officials.

Priyanka Chopra is one of highest tax paying actresses in Bollywood now. The accountant said that they fully co-operated with the Income Tax authorities during the investigation. The announcement was made following the rise of the rumours about alleged concealment of income by Priyanka.

On the same day, the Income Tax officials conducted raids at the house of another leading actress Katrina Kaif and renowned photographer Atul Kasbekar.
