As Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries prepare to walk down the aisle, here's tabloid!'s guide to everything related to the reality TV wedding of the year.
Kim Kardashian's big day is approaching but Bridezilla is staying well-and-truly locked away.
The Keeping Up with The Kardashians star is staying cool as a cucumber ahead of her nuptials on Saturday to New Jersey Nets player Kris Humphries.
"She's very calm," says her mother Kris — not to be confused with hubby-to-be Kris. "It's just her personality. She knows what she wants and she's very focused on the day and is just enjoying the process."
Kardashian has been busy ironing out final details for her wedding, including a whirlwind trip to New York for a final fitting.
tabloid! brings you the know-it-all guide for the big day of one of the reality world's biggest stars.
 The other half:
Kris Nathan Humphries, aged 26, a professional basketball player who plays for the NBA's New Jersey Nets.
The two were dating for just six months when Humphries got down on bended knee.
Humphries has two older sisters, Krystal and Kaela. His first success in sports came in competitive swimming, where he was the top 10-year-old in the US in six events, second only to a young Michael Phelps in the remaining events. Humphries still holds the USS national record for the 50m freestyle for 10 and under boys.
 The venue:
Kardashian, 30, and Humphries, 26, will tie the knot in Montecito, California at a secret location. The bash will be a black tie affair.
 The proposal:
It all happened on May 18 when Humphries went for the romantic proposal. He spelled "Will you marry me?" in rose petals on the floor of her Beverly Hills home to surprise the object of his affection.
She was completely taken off guard, but needless to say, she said yes. "I didn't expect this at all. I was in such shock," she said.
"I never thought it would happen at home, and I never thought now."
 The bridesmaids:
We know her sisters Kourtney and Khloe (left) have been picked. The bridesmaids' dresses are green, thanks to Kourtney who tweeted the colour to her followers last week.
 The guest list:
Justin Bieber, J.Lo, Jay-Z and Beyonce, and Will and Jada Pinkett-Smith are just some of the names confirmed. Something tells me there will be many more to come.
The generous invite came with some pretty strict instructions — guests have been told to wear black or white, with no exception. The strict requirement has fuelled speculation Kardashian will not be saying "I Do" in a white gown.
"Kim knows better than anyone how to stay dramatic and there is no way she would let herself blend in with everyone else at her wedding by wearing a white dress," an insider tells me.
"If I know her, I bet she will wear red or some colour, so she pops against everyone else who will be in black or white."
We know Kardashian has already chosen a gown by designer Vera Wang — she was in New York just last weekend for a final fitting — but any other details of her dress have been guarded almost as closely as Kate Middleton's sartorial secret.
"When Kim walks down that aisle, she knows she will have the eyes of the world on her," a friend of the family tells me.
"This will be the biggest moment of her life and she is going to make sure she gives everyone something to talk about. Nothing would do that more than shocking folks with a splash of colour."
 The cake:
Kardashian, her fiance, Khloe, and Rob all went to Hansen's bakery in Los Angeles for the cake tasting on August 9 — just 11 days before the wedding (left).
She tweeted: "My mum, Rob and Khloe all came with me and Kris to Hansen's to help pick out a wedding cake. They had the most gorgeous creations and yummy flavours! How often does a girl have an excuse to taste an amazing selection of delicious cakes!? LOL. I'll be working out extra hard this week!!!"
 The invitation:
The couple's wedding invitations were designed by Lehr & Black, who also created invites for Kardashian's sister Khloe and her husband Lamar Odom, Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale, and Fergie and Josh Duhamel, among others.
Each guest received an invite housed inside its own box, embellished with hundreds of jet black hematite crystals.
 The first dance:
A waltz. The duo has been working diligently with Dancing With the Stars pro Mark Ballas to perfect the traditional dance.

 The ring:
Kardashian's ring is a massive 20.5 carats. I'm not sure there's much more say. Humphries proposed with the custom-designed Lorrain Schwartz diamond which reportedly cost $2 million (Dh7.34 million).
 The engagement:
Obviously, it had to be completely over-the-top. Mum Kris hired two mini-horses covered in glitter for their engagement celebration. It was half-joke, half-serious, she reportedly said.
 The dress/shoes:
The upside of being a reality star is the fame, the downside is secrets are hard to keep.
Kardashian is planning on tying the knot in a Vera Wang dress and Christian Louboutin shoes (talk about cliche). But the latest speculation is whether the dress will be white.
She took the red-eye to New York City for her final fitting. "I flew last night I took the red eye at midnight," Kardashian told reporters at the bash for World's Most Beautiful mag launch. "I landed at eight in the morning in New York, ran to Vera Wang for a dress fitting at 10am and then was on another flight out at noon. I spent like eleven hours on a plane just to spend three hours in New York."
 The reality show:
The good news is the wedding will be aired on E! in a two-part special, titled Kim's Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event. The bad news (or good news depending on your love for everything Kardashian) is you'll have to wait until October. It will show the wedding planning, preparation, and all the tiny details.
 The hen party:
If you're set to marry a 16ft basketball star, then perhaps a dwarf dressed in leather is the most obvious choice to serve the drinks at your hen do. The reality show queen took sisters Kourtney and Khloe, future sister-in-law Kaela and tennis ace Serena Williams for a weekend in Vegas for the wild affair.
The 30-year-old reality star partied up a storm at Tao nightclub, where she was joined by scantily female dancers — and treated to a striptease from a dwarf. Meanwhile her husband-to-be was also celebrating at his stag do in the nearby Lavo nightspot. Kardashian broke with tradition by gatecrashing his bash to steal a secret kiss.
 The name change:
Will she, won't she. There has been lots of speculation as to whether Kardashian will change her name. TMZ reported she will lose Kardashian and take Humphries — the biggest name change in reality television. In one interview she said she is planning on using Kardashian as her middle name.
 The exercise regime:
The brunette beauty has enlisted not one, but two star trainers, Gunnar Peterson and Tracy Anderson, to refine her shape. "With me, she's doing free-arm [exercises], where I'm changing the movements all the time, and also dance aerobics," Anderson told Us Weekly.
As for diet, Kardashian cut out fatty foods and sugar.
 The (belated) honeymoon:
There won't be a honeymoon right away, according to Kardashian who said the couple won't "have time for one right away".
She added they probably wouldn't manage a getaway until 2012 and remained tight-lipped about the destination.
 The men before:
Music producer Damon Thomas was her first husband, but things didn't end too well. Kardashian and Thomas married in 2000, but the relationship ended in divorce in 2004.
In 2007, she began dating NFL star Reggie Bush after they met at the ESPY Awards. Things got rocky on 2009 when they split and rekindled things within a matter of months, but Kardashian finally called it a day in March 2010.
Kim and Humphries started dating in December.

 Quotes from mother-of-the-bride:
"She's doing great, and I think that any mum just feels happy when their child finds the person they want to be with for the rest of their lives," says Jenner. "That's a big step."

So will the proud mum be hoping for grandchildren from the soon-to-be-newlyweds? "Definitely, absolutely," says Jenner. "And they better not be stingy."
