Why was Vidya chosen for Silk Smitha's role?

Vidya Balan was the original choice for the role of Silk Smitha in ‘The Dirty Picture’ and that's because director Milan Luthria wanted an actor with a deadly combination of sexiness and innocence. And, Vidya Balan is the only actor in Bollywood who offers the combo.

Vidya Balan has already proved her mettle with ‘Ishqiya,’ as she managed performing the bold scenes effortlessly. Initially, the actor was conscious to face the camera in a sensual avatar, but finally she was comfortable and director Milan Luthria is happy with the outcome.

He feels Vidya has managed to look sensuous, not vulgar. ‘The Dirty Picture’ is all set to release on December 2.

Himesh Reshammiya challenges SRK's Ra.One!

After tasting failure with all four of his films – ‘Karzzzz’, ‘Radio’, ‘Kajrare’ and ‘A Love Isshtory’ – the singer turned actor, Himesh Reshammiya is all set to tickle the funny bones, this time with a small-budget comedy ‘Dumadamm’.

Interestingly, despite admitting that he got carried away by stardom, Himesh is still in no mood to accept his defeat. And that’s one of the reasons that he isn’t afraid to clash with SRK. He's releasing ‘Damadamm’ with one of the most anticipated films ever- ‘Ra.One’.

While Shahrukh, Kareena and Arjun Rampal starrer ‘Ra.One’ is slated to release on October 26, ‘Damadamm’ will hit the screens the very next day i.e. on October 27.

Recently, when Himesh was questioned of not being afraid of competing with SRK’s magnum opus, he quoted that he doesn’t think that he is taking any risk. According to Himesh, ‘Ra.One’ is a big entertainer, but during Diwali, people would go to see a light comedy like ‘Damadamm’.

He further added by saying that SRK’s film is undoubtedly a bigger film and thus, will be occupying most of the screens. However, his project is a small one and doesn’t require too many screens.

Well, we would not comment on your acting skills, but one thing is certain, you are braveheart Himesh!

Pamela Anderson had stalker living in her house

The former 'Baywatch' beauty has revealed an obsessed woman broke into her home and stayed in one of the guest rooms while she and her two sons, Brandon and Dylan, were there but she didn't notice she had a live-in intruder.

In an interview with Britain's OK! magazine, Pamela said: "One fan snuck into my house, sliced their wrists and then ate all my bread. It's terrible but I am serious! When the police took her, she was even wearing one of my 'Baywatch' bathing suits. It was very scary, actually. I was in my house with my children, alone, and this woman had gotten in and was there for a few days.

"I kept noticing my bread was going missing and then my jean jacket disappeared. But I was like, 'I'm going crazy because I have two babies, I'm forgetting everything.' But this woman had been staying in the guest room for days. When the police came, she slit her wrists!"

Fortunately the woman did not die from her suicide attempt but she was eventually deported from America.
The blonde beauty revealed: "She didn't die, she just got deported."

Kim Kardashian Snubs Sister-in-Law Model Kaela Humphries

Kim Kardashian's sisters Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner aren't the only models in her family--her sister-in-law Kaela Humphries also rocked the runway at Fashion Week. Unfortunately, Kim and her sisters majorly snubbed their new family member.

It would seem that Kaela would be a welcome addition to the Kardashian clan--she works in the world of fashion, and she's got a camera-ready face. However, Kim might be a little suspicious of the plus-sized model.
Kaela accompanied Kris Humphries to the Fashion Week shows that Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner walked in, but it seems that Kim and her sisters decided that Kaela Humphries' show wasn't worth watching.

KIM KARDASHIAN
Kris' sister walked in the same Richie Rich & Svedka's Popluxe fashion show as Kirstie Alley and Coco (who suffered a major wardrobe malfunction), and Kim Kardashian and her sisters were reportedly supposed to be there. Kris Humphries was spotted making frantic cellphone calls before the show, so maybe he was trying to figure out where his wifey and her cohorts were.

Of course the fact that Kim Kardashian's husband was abandoned by his wife at Fashion Week could certainly signify that there really is trouble in paradise. Or maybe Kim just snubbed Kaela Humphries because she's afraid that Kris' pretty sister is trying to capitalize on her new familial connections.

If Kaela has the same odd sense of humor as her brother, it wouldn't be surprising if Kim and her siblings dislike her. Kim and her sisters might let Kris get away with comments about Lamar being gay; Kim's butt being fake; and Kourtney and Scott needing to be more intimate because Kim is married to him, but it's really hard to see them accepting that kind of talk from another female (they would perceive it as a true attack then).

Then there's the possibility that Kim was just trying to create some drama for one of her shows by snubbing Kris' sister (since the whole Kardashian family seems to be at Fashion Week, there have got to be cameras following them).

So what do you think -- did Kim really intentionally snub Kaela Humphries?

'Whose skin am I in?..Just my own': Kelly Brook strips off in nude photo for PETA campaign but covers her curves for launch

Snakeskin might be on-trend this season but animal-lover Kelly Brook isn’t settling for just wearing imitation.

In fact the model has ditched her clothes all together posing nude with her body painted in scales for the Whose Skin Are You In? PETA campaign.

Kelly unveiled the dramatic photo, captured in Bryan Adams’s Chelsea studio, earlier today on the eve of London fashion week.

The 31-year-old took part in the campaign to protest at how snakes, lizards and alligators and other exotic animals are skinned alive.

While Kelly might have stripped off for the photo, but she covered up her curves to perfection in a pretty tiered dress which she paired with black strappy heels.

Oh no, Coco! Buxom reality TV star falls out of her dress on the catwalk

The 32-year-old revealed more than she bargained for at the Poplex Fashion Show at Lavo nightclub as the dress slipped around her waist. To see Click The link

Fight for Our Boys! Forces' sweetheart Cheryl Cole dons army fatigues to train with British troops in Afghanistan

She donned a variety of camouflage-style outfits when she was promoting her summer anthem Fight For This Love.

But yesterday Cheryl Cole wore the army colours for a different reason, as she became the new forces' sweetheart while visiting British troops in Afghanistan.

The 28-year-old star flew out to Camp Bastion in the Helmand province on Tuesday night on a visit to mark 10 years of British operations in the country.

Cheryl boarded a troop carrier plane at RAF Brize Norton in Oxfordshire for a 12-hour flight on Tuesday morning, having previously undergone hostile environment training to prepare her for the trip.

On the way to Afghanistan, Cheryl made herself useful on the flight, serving drinks and dinners of sausages and mash to her fellow passengers, who were flying out for a six-month tour.

Once in the Helmand Province, Cheryl was given her own army fatigues and took part in a mock gun fight, which she deemed 'terrifying'.

She added: 'I went into the room and heard an explosion.

'It was scary. I was terrified. I'm not ashamed to say I screamed and uttered a few expletives.'

Task Force Helmand chief, Lt Col Tim Purbrick, told the Daily Mirror: 'Cheryl was not afraid to get her shoes dirty.

Tat's true love! Selena Gomez shows off new 'tattoo' tribute to boyfriend Justin Bieber

They say that true love lasts forever.

But that does not seem to be something you can say about the Justin Bieber 'tattoo' popstar Selena Gomez showed off at a show in Las Vegas last night.

The crudely written 'Justin' mark, which also had a little heart underneath it seemed to be written in magic marker when she performed at Sin City's Mandalay Bay.

Jiah Khan goes wild!

Actor Jiah Khan may not be in the news for signing umpteen films, but it looks like the young actor is putting her free time to good use. Jiah, who made her debut in Bollywood opposite superstar Amitabh Bachchan in Nishabd, now wants to educate people against cruelty towards animals. Jiah has joined hands with People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) for the same. Sources say that though this is not the first time she has teamed up with the organisation, this time around she is trying to create awareness against wild animals being kept in zoos.

"The last time Jiah had posed as a wounded bird wrapped in a string. The message was to urge people to ban glass coated manja thread, specially used during the Makar Sankranti festival, to fly kites. Sharp manjas are fun for flying kites, but they end up wounding many birds. The campaign got her a lot of positive feedback and that is what encouraged her to lend her support for a worthy cause again," says a source close to Jiah.

An organisation member, however, tells us that this time Jiah chose to stand up against animals locked away in zoos, because she identified with their plight as an entertainer. It's not like Jiah has been forced to perform ever, but apparently she instantly identified with the thought of having to put up an act before thousands of people, for a few claps. "We actors choose to entertain, but animals locked away in zoos are given no choice," she rues whilst drawing parallels.

The campaign picture, featuring Jiah, has apparently been shot in London and sees the petite actor locked in a cage, donning a leopard-print bodysuit. Jiah adds, "All living beings treasure their freedom above all else and that applies to tigers, elephants, bears, monkeys – all animals on the planet. We have no right to snatch it away from them for our entertainment."

If Amitabh Bachchan can smoke, why can’t I: Riya Sen

Riya Sen is excited about her upcoming movie with Vinay Pathak and claims that smoking and drinking on-screen is not wrong if the script demands it.

Riya asserts that she will never endorse cigarettes and alcohol. However, she won’t mind doing it in films, if the script demands it and talking about the same, she said, “Yes, I will never endorse such brands, but I have no issues doing it in movies if the script demands it. If Amitabh Bachchan can do it, why can’t I?”

Riya also confessed that she doesn’t follow a strict diet plan and cannot keep herself away from food.

Lindsay Lohan cleavage: Star wears revealing dress at New York

She's never been one to shy away from revealing her assets when the situation has demanded it (or not).
So it's hardly surprising to see Lindsay Lohan flaunting her chest during an evening out in New York last night.

The 25-year-old and her mother Dina hit Le Bain at the Standard Hotel in New York where they hosted a party on behalf of Lovecat magazine.

Rang Rasiya to release in November: Mehta

Mumbai, Ketan Mehta says his long-pending "Rang Rasiya" will hit the screens in November as he has found a distributor who is willing the release the film, based on legendary painter Raja Ravi Varma's life.

"'Rang Rasiya' will be released in November. We are working on the dates," Mehta told reporters.

The movie is a sensuous love story about the great painter and his muse, a woman called Sugandhabai. Randeep Hooda plays Ravi Varma, while Nandana Sen will be seen as the muse. Ready for release since 2008, the bilingual "Rang Rasiya" courted controversy for the number of sensuous scenes.

"It's a controversial subject and it's a not an economical film. It's a historical drama, a big film with a relatively new star cast, so releasing it was a challenge and finally we have found a distributor who is taking up the challenge and is courageous enough to release the film," he added.

After the release of "Rang Rasiya", Mehta will start scripting his next film.

"Immediately after the release of 'Rang Rasiya', I'll start another film. It's too early to talk about it, so I can't give the details at the moment," he said.

Premiering Paap in Pakistan was a big risk: Pooja Bhatt

Actress Pooja Bhatt says she endured a "big risk" by holding the premiere of her directorial debut 'Paap' at Karachi Film Festival in 2003 in Pakistan.

"When I took my film to Pakistan even before it was commercially released, everyone was shocked," Bhatt said on the sidelines of the South Asian Film Festival (SAFF) which is beginning from today.

'Paap', starring Udita Goswami and John Abraham, was the first Bollywood film to be premiered at Karachi International Film Festival.

"People in the industry were questioning my act of taking the film to the place which is hotbed of piracy that too before the film was released," the 'Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahi' actress said.

Recalling how apprehensive she was while screening 'Paap' to a select and decent audience in Pakistan, the actress-turned-director said, "there was constant fear that someone might come with the video camera, shoot the film and make CD of it. I decided to take it as a personal responsibility and stick my neck out," she added.

The actress, who has directed flicks like Holiday (2006) and Dhokha (2007) among others, however, said piracy is a reality in the world of cinema today as a large number of audience can not afford to visit multiplexes to enjoy a movie of their choice.

Watch: Bipasha Basu's topless video that's giving her sleepless nights!

Bipasha Basu is having sleepless nights nowadays. The reason - her 'blast from the past' hot commercial is becoming a rage online! Bipasha might not have thought about this even in her wildest dreams, but her dated topless video is back to trouble her, and that too after so many years.

Bipasha had shot for the commercial in question for New York Lotto in the 1990s, when she used to do modeling in the US. The steamy video shows Bipasha as a princess, who is getting ready for her marriage and the prince is none other than actor, Vivek Oberoi. The ad has been beautifully shot, but is quite bold in terms of Indian sensibilities as Bipasha shows off her nude back, and in one of the scenes the hot actress' curves are quite visible.

The hot video has been termed as one of the hottest commercials ever shot by an Indian actress. Apparently, Bipasha had shot this ad as an international assignment and it was meant for the international market only.

Sonam Kapoor: Class Act in Zara at Mausam Presser

Sonam Kapoor made an immaculate style statement in color block black and white Zara skirt and top at a special presser for her film Mausam on Wednesday, September 14 at Hotel JW Marriott in Juhu, Mumbai.

The presser was called to announce that the film has been cleared by the IAF and Censor Board, but its release date has been pushed back by a week; it will now release in theaters worldwide on September 23.

Sonam, 26, wore a pencil skirt featuring black panels on the sides. Her loose fit cap sleeve top featured zipper detail on shoulders, bateau neckline and white band on hem.

She accessorized with black Jimmy Choo pointy pumps, a classic black Chanel sling bag, a gold Bvlgari serpent watch and a statement necklace from Chanel.

Sonam was at the event with her co-star Shahid Kapoor, his father and Mausam director Pankaj Kapoor, and Shahid's step mom and Mausam co-star Supriya Pathak.

The Mausam team turned up color co-ordinated; Shahid looked dapper in all black, in harmony with Sonam's dress, while the senior Kapoor couple was dressed in matching blue colors.

Sonam was styled by her two favorites, celebrity stylist Tanya Ghavri and celeb makeup artist Namrata Soni.
It was a delight to watch Sonam and Shahid at the presser, both in perfectly coiffed retro hairstyles.

Sonam's stylist Namrata Soni explains Sonam's hairdo:

"For Sonam's hair we used heated rollers to add some texture to the hair. Then made a quiff and swept the rest of the hair into a side ponytail which showcases the beautiful waves, giving a vintage look."

Sonam rocked candy pink pout, smoky eyes and coral blush.

The presser followed a Mausam screening for the IAF earlier in the day to get their approval.

Justin Bieber Records With Boyz II Men: The Photo Evidence!

Shawn Stockton and Justin Bieber in the studio
As if the Twitter back-and-forth weren't enough to get fans excited for their Christmas-themed collaboration, MTV News now has photo evidence of Justin Bieber and Boyz II Men singer Shawn Stockton in the studio together.

In the photo, both guys are seen looking casual in baseball caps and T-shirts. They shared a high-five in the studio, which was even decorated with Christmas lights.

The guys had a bit of a Twittermance post-session that had the veteran Boyz reminding the teen phenom to never forget the wisdom they shared with him. And whatever that advice was, it certainly made an impression on Bieber. "I'm not gonna forget. THANK U!!" he tweeted

Bieber has a busy fall ahead of him. As he readies the release of his Christmas album, he's also getting ready to hit the road in South America and Mexico. "Back in the studio putting the finishing touches on this Christmas album and getting the tour stuff together," he tweeted.

The tour will kick off later this month in Mexico and will make its way around South America, including stops in Brazil and Argentina. He'll wrap up the stint at the end of October. He's pretty much off the road until December and January, when he has two stops planned in Illinois.

"Seeing all the love for the S AMERICAN fans ... tour is less than a month away. Who got tickets in BRAZIL? in Argentina? in Mexico? in Chile?" he tweeted.

Rihanna 'Can't Wait' For Fans To Hear New Album

RiRi and her 'Cheers' producers tweet about recording album number six.

She may still be wringing singles from her platinum-plus Loud album, but Rihanna is already prepping her sixth studio effort. And, from the sound of things, it'll be finished soon.

RiRi took to her Twitter account early Thursday morning (September 15) to confirm that, yes, sessions for album number six are already under way. "I can't wait to start filling u guys in on some details!" she exclaimed.
Rihanna punctuated that tweet with a "*Zips lips*," meaning that, for now at least, she's done talking about the project.

Talk of new music began on Wednesday, when the singer retweeted a post from production duo the Runners (Rihanna's "California King Bed" and "Cheers"), who wrote, "Shout out to @alexdelicata for makin history with us. Wait till they hear this new @rihanna song."

But in late July, producer Verse Simmonds — one half of the studio duo known as the Jugganauts, who produced Rihanna's hit "Man Down" — talked to MTV News' Mixtape Daily about the new album, saying that Ri was close to completing work on the disc.

"From what I understand, she's is closing the album up now, and we did two records for her that she really, really loved, and I'm really excited about them as well," Simmonds said. "They are records that we wrote and produced as the Jugganauts."

Simmonds said he was "99.999 percent" sure that he and production partner Sak Pase's contributions would make the final cut, and while he wouldn't elaborate on what Rihanna's new album would sound like, he did hint that it'll move in a direction quite different from "Man Down."

"Because we ... as producers, as artists, we try to always come with something different, a whole new sound," he explained.

Of course, finishing up her album isn't the only thing on Rihanna's plate these days. During Wednesday night's "The X Factor" launch party in Los Angeles, Simon Cowell confirmed to KIIS FM that she would also serve as a guest judge on the show, saying, "You're going to see her."

Pregnant Beyonce Rocks Sexy Cut-Out Dress!

Beyonce gave guests a glimpse of her bare baby bump at the Tory Burch flagship store opening party on Tuesday night in New York City.

The mom-to-be, who's hit up several shows during NYC's Fashion Week, posed in a Michael Kors floor-length number, which featured a black leather top and revealing cut-outs on the sides.

Last month Solange Knowles, 25, told the Daily Mirror her sister, 30, would make a great mom. "Beyonce adores my little boy," the singer-rapper, who has a 6-year-old son, Julez, said. "She takes him everywhere. We were in Europe a couple months ago and he loved being with his aunty. He is only young but is fluent in French, so he loves traveling to France with his aunty so he can practice."

"She will be a great mom, a natural," Solange added. "She will love to start a family. I can't wait. They will be beautiful."

Megan Fox, Brian Austin Green Removing Tattoos Together

Megan Fox isn't the only one rethinking her ink.

The 25-year-old actress recently told Access Hollywood that her husband of one year Brian Austin Green is "removing some tattoos also." (Fox didn't specify which of the 38-year-old actor's many tattoos will be erased.)

PHOTOS: Weirdest celeb tattoos

The Friends With Kids star, who had a portrait of Marilyn Monroe inked on her right forearm when she was 18, said she doesn't want to be associated with the blonde icon anymore.
"Her life was surrounded and shrouded in so much mystery and tragedy," Fox explained. "There is negativity with her life and with her death.

PHOTOS: Megan's sexy Transformers style

"I just feel like there are better things to have inked on your body than someone who suffered so much," she added. "So in getting older, I just decided that is something I wanted to get rid of."

PHOTOS: Megan's incredible body through the years

For now, Fox plans to keep the rest of her tattoos, which include a Shakespearean phrase on her back, her husband's name on her right hip bone, the phrase "There once was a little girl who never knew love until a boy broke her heart" on her left ribcage, a crescent moon overlapping a star on her right ankle, a Yin and Yang on her left wrist, and a Chinese symbol on the nape of her neck.

Kate Middleton's no trendsetter: NY fashion experts

She has graced countless magazine covers and dresses sell out hours after she has worn them, but experts at New York Fashion Week say Britain's Kate Middleton is a style follower, not a trendsetter like her royal spouse's late mother Princess Diana. Middleton has been compared and contrasted with Diana, whose style, charity and scandalous divorce from Prince Charles made her arguably the world's most famous woman.

When Middleton married Prince William in April, hundreds of millions of people around the world watched on television, eager to see the wedding dress designed by Sarah Burton for the British label Alexander McQueen.

Then during the a visit by the couple to Canada and the United States in July, all eyes were on Middleton's wardrobe.

"She is stylish, but she's not setting trends, she's following trends," said Gregg Andrews, a fashion director at U.S. department store chain Nordstrom.

"If you take Kate out of the royal family, put her on a street in New York, you wouldn't look at her twice. She's a beautiful woman, but she blends into a crowd," he said.

While experts debate her fashion status, they say there is no question that the new Duchess of Cambridge and wife of the person second in line to the British throne is influential.

"Is she a style icon of the likes of a Kate Moss? Absolutely not. Is she in the public eye? Are people going to become obsessed with everything she wears regardless of what it is? Yes," said Elle Fashion News Director Anne Slowey.

Much like U.S. first lady Michelle Obama, Middleton has been praised for wearing affordable Main Street labels.
A blue Issa crossover knee-length dress that she wore when her engagement to William was announced sold out within 24 hours and cheap knock-offs vanished almost instantly.

Great role model

And the cream Nannette gown by British fashion retailer Reiss, which Middleton wore in the official engagement portraits, sold out several times over.

"Is she iconic at the moment? Time will tell. She's certainly influential. In the position that she's in you can't be simply stunning as she is and not have influence," said Neiman Marcus Fashion Director Ken Downing.

While more polished lady-like looks have been shown at New York Fashion Week -- such as evening wear with sleeves -- some experts were not expecting to see many styles on the runway inspired by Middleton.

Almost 100 designers are showing collections for Spring/Summer 2012 to retail buyers, media and celebrities, with dozens more showing at other venues around the city to coincide with the semi-annual event, which ends on Thursday.

Saks Fifth Avenue Senior Fashion Director Colleen Sherin said Middleton's style could be aspirational for many women.

"She seems to be starting to experiment a bit, to try some different looks and some different designers which I like to see but also still remaining thoughtful and appropriate in her choices and that's the key to her success," she said.

Jill Martin, author of I Have Nothing to Wear!, described Middleton's style as classic. "I think this spring you will see many brides walking down the aisle in dresses with sleeves and that will pay tribute to Kate," she said.

Harper felt at home in Prada: Victoria Beckham

Former Spice girl Victoria Beckham says she is convinced her eight-week-old baby Harper already loves shopping in trendy stores.

Beckham, 37, carried her daughter into Italian designer Prada's exclusive shoe shop in New York, believes her tot loved every minute of her "retail therapy", Daily Star reported.

"We went in to Prada yesterday and she loved it. It was as if she was saying: 'Mummy I'm home,'" she said. Beckham has taken her baby to New York for fashion week where she launched her new range.

"I can't leave her alone for a minute. I haven't been out without her since she was born nine weeks ago. She's too wonderful to leave," she added.

Meanwhile, it has been claimed that Beckham splashed out 3,000 GBP for a new wardrobe to equip Harper for fashion week.

The Khans want me, I'm lucky says Kareena Kapoor

With three back-to-back blockbusters, you almost expect Kareena Kapoor to be sitting pretty on her throne with a tiara on, waving her magic wand.

Instead, she remains as we know her; candid and confident as she talks about love, life and leading the big, bad Bollywood race.

You must have your hands full, guarding the number one status you've reclaimed with Bodyguard.

I am more than happy being number 100 on the list, too! But that doesn't take away from the fact that Bodyguard has shattered records. I'm enjoying every bit of it. I work to see and sense this adulation, not for tags that are hardly permanent.

But a Salman Khan film is always all about him. The heroine is generally incidental.

I can proudly say that here's a Salman film where the girl finally has something to do apart from hanging around and singing songs. Bodyguard is predominantly about the heroine. There is no movie without her.

Many say you're piggyback riding on the Khans' success. Is it easy to earn a hit that way?

It was the Khans who came to me. They could have chosen anyone, but they wanted me. If I don't work with Aamir, Salman, Saif, Shah Rukh and Imran, with whom am I supposed to work with? They are practically half the industry. I'm pretty lucky. I mean, I'm the only actress to have worked with Aamir in two back-to-back films.

Your equation with the three big Khans must be quite different

They basically see me as Karisma Kapur's little sister. With each of them, the relationship is very professional. Like Salman has his quirks, so do SRK and Aamir. They also know how I work, so there is a comfort level.

Is Aamir your favourite of the lot?

Everyone knows I am a huge Aamir fan. We share great chemistry, but I think Saif and I also make a deadly pair in Agent Vinod. It's probably why he insisted on casting me in this film.

Are you insecure when Saif casts other heroines in his home productions?

Not at all! I'm actually looking forward to a film where he'd be cast opposite Priyanka (Chopra). There's something very approachable about her and something very suave and sexy about Saif. Their pairing would work well.

On a personal note, we hear Saif and you are getting hitched next February.

I also hear about how many carats Saif has gifted me, and the desert we'll be serving at our wedding! It's very intriguing. I barely manage to meet my family and Saif and people are already planning my wedding in their heads.

You're doing the Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai sequel. Would you be comfortable if (former boyfriend) Shahid joins the cast?

I still have to read the script, but I would be okay with anyone.

Are you in touch with Shahid?

I don't pick up the phone and talk to him, but there is no bad blood between us. It's a chapter in my life both Saif and I respect, and it will always be like that.

Lastly, is there a role you recently saw and wish you did?

All of Meryl Streep's roles. It's incredible what she does. I wish, when I am 60, I work as much as her. That would be something.

Why hide marriage plans, especially since you've said you're ready for it?

I am the only actress who can proudly proclaim to have a personal and professional life. I don't understand when people say things like they don't have time for love. I have given some of my biggest hits with Saif in my life.

What bigger proof that it works if you balance it out. There was a point when I said I want to do nothing but work. Now that has changed. My relationship is of utmost importance. So when a date is fixed, we will let everyone know.

Is there family pressure? What does your sister have to say?

She asks me to enjoy life and work at my own pace. Plus, nothing will change after marriage. I may cook for Saif when I get the time, but otherwise it's going to be the same.

Katrina-Ali to create a music album together?

In their recent romcom, Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, Ali Zafar and Katrina Kaif don't end up with each other. The picture in reality however is far from the 'not-so-perfect' reel ending.

The two actors, we hear, are all set to carry their camaraderie to the next level and collaborate on a music album.

Understandably, the actress does not want to reveal much at this point. She says, "Ali and I have definitely hit it off musically. We share a lot of common musical interests that we're trying to take further. Let's see where it goes."

Incidentally, Kat has done a spot of nursery-rhyme singing for a kiddies' album by music maestro A R Rahman in the past.

She also learnt to play the guitar from Farhan Akhtar during Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, a talent she then applied in Mere Brother Ki Dulhan.

During the making of the latter, sources say both Kat and Ali were constantly in a huddle. "Ali and Katrina get along like a 'rock stadium' on fire.

They have a musical bonding. They enjoy each other's company. But more than that, Katrina enjoys the fact that Ali talks music," explains a source.

If their off-screen chemistry is anything to go by, we're sure this jugalbandi of sorts will be a treat to watch and hear of course!
