Genelia D’souza gets sporty

There have been talks about actors Genelia D’souza and Riteish Deshmukh being quite a couple on the sets of their upcoming film, Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya. While the duo have apparently been spending a lot of time together in Manali as they shoot for the film, they have also been meeting off the sets.

If sources are to be believed, then the duo often head out after the shoot is wrapped up for the day. Sometimes they go out for lunch, sometimes dinner or sometimes just for a coffee.
However, Genelia also has a new activity that has gotten her hooked these days. The actor who’s always been the sporty type, has been a state level athlete and national level football player in her school and college days.

She had earlier said, “Despite being actively into sports, I did not pursue it as a profession. I did not choose any career, it chose me.” However the actor has taken to a different sport in Manali.

Genelia has been often spotted playing badminton in between shots in her free time. While people have always known that she has been a football player, no one knew about her fetish for badminton.
A source from the sets said, “On being asked about her playing badminton often Genelia informed that her dad was a state level badminton champion. While she is fond of the game and used to play it when she was younger, she doesn’t find the time anymore because of her hectic schedule.”

While Genelia has been honing her baddie skills, joining her at times on the sets is rumoured beau, Riteish as well. The source adds, “Riteish often joins Genelia while she is playing. She loves to unwind by playing and Riteish understands that and the duo play games in between shots. In fact Genelia has got Riteish hooked to the sport as well. She was even spotted giving him tips to work on being better at the sport. “

Bollywood Actress Dia Mirza has found her 'Mr Right', but marriage is not yet on the cards, she says.

"Every woman has to marry some day and I would love to marry as well. I am blessed that I have found a person who I can trust and depend on. When the time is right we would get married," Dia told reporters here, after launching the music of her maiden film as producer.

The actress is in a relationship with Sahil Sangha, business partner and director of her first production, Love Breakups Zindagi.

Dia, in association with actor Zayed Khan and Sahil, has formed Born Free Entertainment Pvt Ltd.

During the press conference on Thursday, she blushed when asked who the lucky man was. The (lucky) man, Sahil, said, "You have not done your homework."

Asked about marriage plans, Dia said, "I have not done the planning. The reports about my marriage in 2012 are incorrect. When I was asked whether I would like to marry Sahil I had said I would, as that is the intention of our relationship, but when are we marrying has not been finalised at any level."

About the love-story in her own life, Dia said, "I know Sahil for a while. It was connection at first sight....the first thing is to find that connection...where you can meet mentally and have similar values."

Love Breakups Zindagi, a romantic-comedy starring Zayed and Dia, is slated to release on October 7.

Right Now Udita Goswami's trip to Kashmir

Udita Goswami recently went on a trip to Kashmir for the first time, talks about the captivating charm of the valley and shares her memories.

Actor Udita Goswami surely doesn’t believe in all work and no play. So even though she is pretty busy these days, what with writing a script — a love story, even as she awaits the release of her film, Diary of a Butterfly, she took time out for a well-deserved break.

The actor recently visited Kashmir for the first time ever. She admits that she is now back with lots of romantic ideas for her script. Udita reveals that Kashmir has been on her dream destination list for a long time now as she’d been dying to see the heaven on earth. Udita’s dream was about to come true when a schedule of her upcoming film was slated to be shot in Kashmir but unfortunately it didn’t work out.

Katrina Kaif to design her own wardrobe

Actor Katrina Kaif who has spent a considerable amount of time growing up in the UK, recently went back to London to spend some time. While she had gone there on some work for her latest film, she also got sometime to spend on herself.

Katrina’s latest film with actor Imran Khan sees her playing an entirely different character, a bold, carefree girl, a role she thinks that changed her completely.

While the film has pushed her boundaries as an actor and taken her out of her comfort zone, Katrina made sure she played her character to the T.

She apparently liked the script so much that she made sure she provided inputs wherever required, be it with her character, the scene being shot, her look in the film or her clothes.
A source from the sets says, “Katrina had so much fun shooting for the film, she was super charged up about everything on the set. She plays a character who is London born and brought up and that got her extremely involved.”

Apparently, Katrina personally looked into the look and even went shopping for her ownclothes in London.

“She took a few days off and decided to work on her character. For that she went to London, observed a few girls and took a few pages out of her own life and came up with a character sketch for her role. She had a basic sensibility right because she knew how girls in London dressed and she wanted to be authentic when it came to her character so she sourced all her outfits herself and designed the look as well,” added the source.

Director, Ali Abbas who has earlier worked with her in New York said, “Katrina and I became friends while working on New York. Her character in the film has some shades of Kat in real life so I knew that she was the right choice to play the role. Also she hasn’t done some thing like this before and she was also someone who could pull of the grunge look non pretentiously.”

Katrina won't let Bipasha be 'Munni'

Katrina Kaif
Actress Katrina Kaif, we hear, is miffed that Bipasha Basu will be dancing to the 'Munni' item number in the SOuth remake of 'Dabangg'. There's news that the South makers are keen that Bipasha Basu shake a leg for an item number, and the dates are being worked out.

On the other hand, Katrina Kaif, whose Sheila Ki Jawani song became a huge hit,. doesn't want long-time rival Bipasha to be a part of 'Dabangg' in any capacity, and it is learnt that she even spoke to close friend Salman Khan about it.

Though actor Sonu Sood confirms that Bipasha Basu is the first choice for the 'Munni' song, Katrina, apparently, isn't happy about it.

However, a source close to Katrina rubbishes the story: "Katrina has moved on. She isn't the type to haggle or brood. Also, the rights of the movie have already been sold. I guess there's little that anyone can do. The decision making would lie with the producers who have bought the rights. How does it matter?"

It can be remembered that Katrina and Bipasha had problems during the making of 'Race', and later when rumours of an affair between Katrina and Bipasha's then boyfriend, John Abraham started doing the rounds.

Karan Johar's book to reveal juicy Bolly secrets

Karan Johar is all set to don the garb of an author. He plans to write a book on his friends from the film industry. It is interesting to know that he wants to pen down the secrets of his equation with Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan and wants the book to get published posthumously.

In an interview with Simi Gerewal in the show India's Most Desirable, he said: "One day I will write a book and will keep it with somebody and will only allow it to be published after I'm dead." When asked why he wants the book to be published after his death, he said: "That is because of some insane incidents that are going to be in that book." Karan is clear that his equations are different with Salman and Shah Rukh. SRK's enemies are not his foes.

"I have known Salman's family ever since I can remember. So I can't look through him or not acknowledge him or not wish him because he has a problem with Shah Rukh. I will have the same level of regard and respect for him no matter what. And he was a part of my first film, how can I forget that? So we have the same equation that we did before this fallout. I have my individual relationships with people."

On a lighter note, Karan blames his mother Hiroo Johar for his bachelorhood. "She doesn't want to! It's all an act! In fact all the girls I have in my life or my friends always like staking claim on my mother's jewellery. My mother says 'I'm very worried that all these girls want my diamonds." Nothing is coming anywhere. She is Sindhi you have to know that. Nothing is arriving," Karan joked.
