Pop Singer Shakira's new boyfriend, football ace Gerard Pique has finally opened up about their romance, revealing the couple is "very happy".

The "Hips Don't Lie" hit maker began dating him after announcing her split from longtime boyfriend, Antonio de la Rua, in January, reports dailystar.

She recently posted an image of the sportsman with his arms around her on her Twitter page, alongside the caption "Les presento a mi sol...", which translates as, "I present to you my sunshine."

Pique has now spoken out about the relationship, revealing he is trying to get used to the increased attention since he has started dating the superstar.

"It is a question of getting used to this new situation where you are being followed in the street. I try to take it in my stride," he said.

Acknowledging Shakira's gushing posts on the microblogging site about him, Pique said: "She simply wants to show that we are in a good place, that I am very happy and so is she, and that's all."

Ranbir & I share a hot chemistry: Ankita

Ankita, the Pantaloons Femina Miss India International 2011, has plans set to enter Bollywood. And not just that! Ankita is a huge Shah Rukh Khan fan and says, "One of my biggest dreams is to work with SRK." However, the PYT, who has worked with Ranbir Kapoor in a mobile service provider commercial, says that her perfect Bollywood debut will be opposite the Kapoor lad. "I have worked with Ranbir for an ad and we share a sizzling chemistry. We bonded well and because we belong to the same generation there was a great comfort level. It was a comedy act where I play a very possessive girl friend," revealed she.

The Miss India International further said, "My perfect acting debut will be opposite Ranbir. Our jodi will take Bollywood by storm for sure."

Evangeline Lilly is pregnant

Former " Lost" actress Evangeline Lilly is expecting her first child with her long-term boyfriend Norman Kali.

It will be the first child for Lilly and her beau, who she met when he worked as a production assistant on mysterious show "Lost" in which the 31-year-old star played plane crash survivor Kate Austin who was stranded on an island, reports femalefirst

'I have always wanted to have a child of my own and I will always want to go through the gift that women have been given to experience that, so I hope to be a mother at some point," Lilly had said this in her previous interview.

Liz Hurley still close to Hugh Grant

Actress Elizabeth Hurley regards Hugh Grant as one of her family members and says they have been best friends since the moment they met.

The 45-year-old beauty has remained "best friends" with the actor whom she dated for 13 years until 2000 and though they quarrel all the time, she loves nothing more than spending time with her former boyfriend, reports contactmusic.

"Hugh and I met in 1987 on the set on a movie in Madrid and have been best friend ever since. I completely consider him one of my family and love spending time with him, even though we annoy each other at times,' she said.

The fashion world has been taken over by the 'Middleton' effect. As the hysteria before the royal wedding of Kate Middleton and Prince William builds up, Kate is slated to be the next 'fashion icon'. Stylists predict that the future Queen of England Kate will be a bigger style icon than Diana! In fact, UK's Daily Mirror reports how Kate is poised to become a style icon in her own right!

Kate's chic and classy style has already got her an iconic status. Ahead of the wedding, Katemania is sweeping the world, as the future princess' wa r d r o b e choices show a positive effect on sales. Kate brings a softer touch to British dressing. According to royal historian, Hugo Vickers, the couple has sparked a "new generation revival" of the monarchy and they could eclipse celebrities such as Beckhams. Says designer Suneet Varma, "Kate's style is more relaxed and approachable. She'll chart her own personal style. When Princess Diana was courting Charles, she was in her teens and a school teacher. From her hats to her dresses — Princess Diana's makeover after marriage had a huge impact. Kate's style is evolved, as her own identity is strong, but it'll be tough for her to match Diana's style. Kate enjoys being a lady of elegance. She was wearing a see-through dress when she first caught Prince William's eye. She'll be to England what Michelle Obama is to the US. She doesn't need to ape Princess Diana, for she's stylish in her own way.

Agyness Deyn to visit India

British model Agyness Deyn is apparently planning a trip to India in a bid to 'find herself'.

The Oldham-born model recently returned to London after an unsuccessful attempt to break into acting in New York.

Now the restless model, once the muse of designer Henry Holland, is preparing for a backpacking voyage of self-discovery.

"Agyness has been sofa-hopping in London while she prepares to head to India," the Daily Mail quote a pal as saying.

"She's only 28 and she still needs to find out what she wants to do in life.
The acting world wasn't for her and she thinks there's more to life than modelling.

"She's hoping it will be a life-changing experience that will help her to finally find her calling," the pal added.

Sonakshi's birthday surprise for Akon!

It was international singer Akon's birthday yesterday (April 16) and he got a gift from Sonakshi Sinha. The actress surprised him with a special hand-crafted, raw silk Nehru bandhgala suit, which was specially designed by daddy Shatrughan's designer.

Akon was so impressed that he promised to wear it for one of his shows. And where did all this happen? At the zoOm studio, where as guest-of-honor and celebrity host Sonakshi engaged the international singing sensation in a heartfelt interview.

Akon candidly spoke about his struggles, how the death of the legendary Michael Jackson affected him and his dreams of working in a Hindi movie.

The musician, however, refused to sing for the Dabangg girl and that's because he wanted her to attend his live concert. But Sonakshi, not one to give up, convinced him to mouth her famous dialogue 'Thappad se darr nahin lagta saaheb, pyaar se lagta hai'.
