Cast: Sanjay Dutt, Imran Khan, Minissha Lamba, Vidya Malvade

Director: Sanjay Gadhvi

Story:
While asking Sonia, what she wants to do on her 18th birthday. She requested her mother, Dr. Mallika that she wants her Dad, Vikrant Raina, to whom she did not meet in last 8 years. Mallika divorced Vikrant Raina when Sonia was just 10. The bitter custody battle was settled in Mallika's favor.

Rebellious Sonia is hell-bent of mind for meeting her dad, but Mallika does not want her to have anything to do with him. After a long spat, Sonia walks off in a huff and doesn't return.

Mallika panics when she gets a call from a stranger that he has abducted Sonia. The kidnapper, Kabir, has only one demand - that he will negotiate with nobody but Sonia's father - Vikrant Raina.

Reluctantly Mallika brings Vikrant back into their lives to save Sonia. But Vikrant Raina, one of the richest Indians in the world, with a net worth of 51.7 billion dollars, chokes at the thought of taking orders from a criminal.

But Kabir holds the trump card - he holds Sonia and Vikrant knows he has no option but to toe the line.

It's very simple, Kabir tells him. They are going to play a game - just the two of them. Vikrant has to play by the rules set by Kabir and he has to play alone. He has to play to save his daughter. If he even utters the words 'Hello Police', it will be Bye Bye for Sonia!

Because his daughter's life is at stake, a reluctant Vikrant agrees to obey Kabir's orders. Kabir sets him a series of overwhelming, time bound tasks. As Vikrant completes each task, he receives a clue that will bring him a step closer to finding Sonia.

And so begins a thrilling, cat and mouse game where Vikrant Raina chases elusive clues through impossible terrain, even as a hawk eyed Kabir keeps a watch on every step he takes. The slightest error or delay on his part and Vikrant will never see his daughter again. But why do all the tasks involve Vikrant having to commit crimes in rising intensity?

Although circumstances have forced Vikrant to take orders from this hateful stranger, he's also a master strategist of many board room battles and a man to be pushed around. Thus he succeeds in outwitting Kabir on more than one occasion.

But then a counter-offensive Kabir puts Sonia's life in jeopardy and Vikrant vows that he will stop at nothing to save his daughter... his only child.

Esha Deol excited about moving back to old home

Esha Deol says she is excited about moving back into her Juhu bungalow that was under renovation for the past one year. She says all her best memories are associated with that house.

"We miss our old home. That's where all our best memories are. That's where Ahana and I grew up. And that's where all of mom's friends from the industry stay. So, yes, we plan to move back as soon as the renovation is done. One of the main problems in our Juhu home was the waterlogging in monsoon. The elevation work has been done. The outside is complete. And now the interiors are being done."

In 2006 Esha, her mom Hema Malini and sister Ahana moved into their bungalow in Goregaon.

Though the three loved the far-from-the-madding-crowd atmosphere at Goregaon and had decided to stay put in their sighing haven, the family is now planning to move back to Juhu to their original place.

But Esha says there were advantages of staying in Goregaon.

"Travelling to Film City for shooting is so easy here. That set of an aircraft that they put up at Film City for 'Hijack' was just a hop away. Every day I'd get into my car and drive straight into the aircraft," said Esha whose last release was "Hijack" that tanked.

But the actress says she had a ball shooting the film.

"It was an action film. I was an airhostess wearing a skirt. So I couldn't do any stunts. But the interesting part of the film was that I don't have a hint of a romantic association with Shiney Ahuja.

"Now I'm also doing Shivum Nair's 'Exchange Offer' with Rahul Bose. It's a very contemporary film about a young couple. And working with Rahul is so different from working with any of my other co-stars."

Esha also went through a learning experience when she did an item song with Govinda in "Money Hai Toh Honey Hai".

"I did that number only to work with Govinda. I'm his biggest fan. As a child I used to watch some of his films almost every day. Dancing with him is a joy. He knows exactly how to handle the body contact in the dancing movements."

Shweta Kumar wore bikini for her very first scene

Shweta Kumar was made to don a two-piece bikini for her very first scene in this Friday’s release Karzzzz .

The comely daughter of filmmaker Indra Kumar makes her Bollywood debut opposite Himesh Reshammiya in director Satish Kaushik’s ‘Karzzzz’, which, as we all know by now, is a modern remake of Subhash Ghai’s hit movie ‘Karz’, starring Rishi Kapoor , Simi Garewal and Tina Munim.

Shweta enacts the role played by Tina Munim in the original flick. She plays a vivacious, bubbly and naughty girl who is also innocent at the same time.

However, Shweta was a bundle of nerves when she was told that her first scene in ‘Karzzzz’ would be shot in a bikini.

“I was very nervous before the scene. But Satishji assured me and shot the scene in a very nice way. It has turned out well on the screen,” says the hazel eyed beauty.

Shweta also acknowledges that being the daughter of a reputed filmmaker did help her get her first break. In fact, she did not even have to give a screen test for ‘Karzzzz’. But Shweta believes that having got her first break, she would now have to prove her mettle all by her work.

“Otherwise, who would want to sign me?” she asks.

Shweta has already learnt a few ropes of her profession. She has done an acting course from Kishore Namit Kapoor’s school; she has learnt classical dance from Saroj Khan and modern dance forms from Shiamak Davar and Shabina Khan.

We’ll see how well she acts when ‘Karzzzz’ hits the theatres.

Deepika Padukone doesn't follow fashion trends

Model-turned-actress Deepika Padukone, who is in the national capital to walk the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (WIFW) ramp for designer duo Shantanu-Nikhil, says she does not follow any fashion trends.

"I believe in being comfortable in what I wear instead of wearing something in fashion that does not suit my body. I don't follow fashion trends," said Deepika.

Deepika says her favourite designer is Manish Malhotra, who is popular with most Bollywood icons.

"Manish always goes out of his way for me and does a good job. He also did my first film 'Om Shanti Om'," she said.

On Thursday, the actress was dressed in a one-shoulder, short salmon coloured dress designed by Shantanu-Nikhil, who are showcasing their collection at the WIFW as part of the sponsor show for personal care brand Fiama Di Wills.

"I am really looking forward to be a part of the show," Deepika said.

Deepika attended an event here to announce the winner of a Fiama Di Wills Beautiful Face 2008 Hunt, organised in collaboration with the Elite Modelling Agency.

Delhi-based Prerana Sharma was crowned winner of the event by the actress.

Deepika said: "During my days of modelling, I never got any such opportunity or platform to showcase my talent. But god has been kind to me."
