BOllywood Actor Salman Khan turns dictator on the sets of Ek Tha Tiger

Though the actor seems to have rubbed of his bad boy image onto his ex-best friend- Shah Rukh Khan, looks like Salman Khan still has a little bit of arrogance left him in. And, the latest buzz in B-Town makes us say that!

Rumour has it that Salman refuses to be summoned by spot boys on the sets of YRF's Ek Tha Tiger. According to reports, YRF's production team is facing a lot of troubles, thanks to Salman's high-handedness. The actor has apparently issued a diktat on the sets of the film, as per which, Salman has barred unit members from summoning him for a shot while he is inside his vanity van. And that's not all, Salman has apparently indicated that he'll only come out of the vanity van, when he is ready for his shot.

Speaking to a daily, one unit member said, “Salman wants to step out of his vanity when he feels like. Nobody can call him for a shot. The entire unit has to simply wait for him to alight. Even if it means delaying the shoot."

It seems that the unit members have learnt to live with this diktat, as they are well aware of Salman's superstar status and don't want to mess with him. "Salman often comes to the set late these days. Then he simply locks himself in his vanity van. He pays no heed to the shot that is being readied or is already prepared for him. The filmmakers can`t schedule his shots with other actors either since you can`t make Salman wait," another source told a daily.

Incidentally, sources suggest that Salman behaved in a similar fashion when he was asked to fly to Morocco to shoot a song. He refused to budge and then, a set had to be built up in Mumbai itself! Also, there's already a lot of buzz about the fact that Aditya Chopra might not work with Salman again, owing to his attitude.

Asha Bhosle praises Anu Malik on Indian Idol

Indian Idol judge Anu Malik may be a tough judge but, this strict judge has found an ardent fan on the show! And it is none other than the legendary Asha Ji herself who is on the judging panel along with him.

Ashaji has always appreciated Anu Malik for his outstanding work and this was very evident during the shoot. Asha Ji repeatedly asked audience to pay attention to Anu's feedback to the contestants and asked them to appreciate it with a round of applause.

She went on to praise Anu by showing her love for him and was heard saying "Anuji makes participants nervous by his harsh comments and participants should not feel bad about it and take his advice in a positive way." Anuji had nothing more to say but acknowledge the appreciation coming his way.
Mumbai: While Saif Ali Khan’s work schedule seems to be crammed right now with his professional commitments, looks like the actor is determined to make sure his impending wedding with Kareena Kapoor is stress free — at least from the work end.

Their wedding is rumoured to take place at Pataudi on October 16 with a lavish reception in Mumbai the same day. It seems both Saif and Kareena are planning to effortlessly juggle their timetables to comfortably fit in their wedding schedule.

The groom’s calendar:
Saif is currently shooting for the sequel of his 2008 film in Turkey with Abbas Mustan. The film has two more weeks of shooting left. On returning from Turkey in July, Saif will shoot for his fourth home production with directors Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, which incidentally has been delayed on several previous occasions.

Confirms Raj, "We will shoot for a couple of days in first week of July and then Saif will start promoting his film with Deepika Padukone and Diana Penty. Once their film releases, we will again start shooting."

Contrary to speculations, Saif in fact has a full-fledged role in the film and is required to give 18 days for the shoot. The tentative date for release is around October this year. 'Judwaa 2' and his thriller with Anurag Basu will commence in 2013.

The bride’s calendar:
Looks like Kareena too is making sure she is free by October. Currently, shooting for Madhur Bhandarkar’s film, she will soon start work on Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next that will last a month. Post that, all that’s left to do is to promote her heroine-oriented film with Madhur, which is slotted for a September release.

Rajesh Khanna is absolutely fine: Akshay Kumar

Mumbai: Ailing superstar Rajesh Khanna appeared on the balcony of his residence, Aashirwad, on Thursday, along with wife Dimple Kapadia and son-in-law Akshay Kumar and showed the victory sign to the waiting crowd outside.
"He's more than fine. He is absolutely fine. Thank you for your concern," Rajesh Khanna's son-in-law, actor Akshay Kumar told reporters outside Khanna's bungalow Ashirwad in Bandra here.

The actor thanked his fans for their wishes and prayers and the flashed the victory sign perhaps to indicate that he was fine.

But sources close to the family have stated that the actor is unable to ingest food. Ever since he fell sick in April, the actor’s health has been deteriorating rapidly.

Daughter Rinke has flown in from Kolkata to stay by her father`s side and his estranged wife, Dimple is believed to be staying with him these days. The actor’s elder daughter, Twinkle is six months pregnant with her and Akshay’s second child.

We wish him a speedy recovery.
