Harper's BAZAAR, the world's oldest fashion magazine with 31 international editions, presents their October 2011 issue with an exclusive cover shoot with the King of Bollywood - Shahrukh Khan.

In a casting coup, BAZAAR's October celebration issue has brought together two of India's talented and young stylish beauties - Lisa Haydon and Angela Jonsson with the 'king of romance' Shahrukh Khan for the first time.

Everyone thinks that they know all about the persona behind the image-as an actor, entrepreneur, or a national icon, but rarely does one get to the heart of the man himself. The megastar reveals his sartorial secrets, bares his soul, and tells BAZAAR how he has no notion whatsoever of being special in an exclusive interview.

The cover has been shot by ace fashion photographer Atul Kasbekar.

RASCALS collects Rs 8.63 crores on opening day!

Sanjay Dutt Productions and Rupali Aum Entertainment's Dussehra bonanza RASCALS has hit the right cord with the audiences. The comic flick, starring Sanjay Dutt, Ajay Devgn, Kangana Ranaut, Lisa Haydon and Arjun Rampal, directed by David Dhawan has done stupendous business on its opening day.

A Movie Still From Rascals
The movie released on Thursday 6th October, and has garnered an outstanding collection of Rs. 8.63 crores on the first day itself, making it the fourth highest for 2011, after READY, Ajay Devgn's own SINGHAM and BODYGUARD. This was despite a limited release & low ticket prices compared to the weekends. Trade pundits even go to say that if the tickets were priced at the regular rates, then the movie could have grossed higher and maybe even crossed Rs. 11 crores on the opening day.

Packed with hilarious performances from the film's cast and some chartbusting music, the movie has won a lot of appreciation form audiences all over. With a strong, positive word of mouth and a long weekend ahead, the industry is expecting a bumper opening for the film!

Kareena to miss the Toronto premiere of 'RA.One'

Kareena Kapoor, better known of late as the 'Khan Queen', finds herself in an awkward situation thanks to that very celebrated title. The dates of the Toronto premiere of her 'RA.One' with Shah Rukh Khan and the shooting schedule of Reema Katgi's 'Dhuaan' with Aamir Khan are apparently clashing.

Not surprisingly Bebo has chosen Mr Perfectionist, the Khan she has been raving about ever since their blockbuster film '3 Idiots', over 'RA.One'. A source, however, defends her decision of choosing Aamir over Shah Rukh Khan.

"Kareena has to take some special training for an underwater sequence in the film and she needs time for that too. So going for the premiere is out of the question." The shoot sequence in question was supposed to be shot in the outskirts of Mumbai. It was cancelled last minute due to certain technical issues.

Now, apparently, the location for the shoot has been finally finalised. Since it's one of the last few scenes to be shot, it cannot be delayed again. Adds the source, "Kareena is the female lead and SRK obviously wants her around as much as possible. She is trying her best to attend the Dubai and London premieres because she does not want to miss the international premieres of her film."

However, she has not been able to work around her dates for the third global premiere. "This film is obviously her biggest this year, and she definitely wants to be a part of all promotional events. It's just unfortunate that the premiere is now clashing with the shoot dates of Dhuaan." The actress will be shooting for Dhuaan on October 26, and hence will not be part of the premiere in Toronto or any other promotional activity on that day for the ShahRukh-starrer.

Mahie Gill's comfortable giving bold shots

Mahie Gill not comfortable giving bold shots Jaspreet Mahie Gill may have become one of the boldest actresses of our times with her latest, " Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster" but the actress says that doesn't mean she is comfortable giving bold shots.

"I do feel uncomfortable shooting for bold scenes for a film. But then we are modern day actresses and we must abide by what the script demands," she says. Not that Mahie had chosen such roles consciously in the industry, but " Dev D" set her mark as a bold actress and Mahie simply followed the path.

"It was after the response I received for "Dev D" that I realised doing bold scenes isn't such a bad thing after all," she laughs. However, Mahie says such roles are also a reflection of the modern day women and their changing roles, temperaments and priorities. "I believe in doing realistic cinema. Hence, if women in real life are becoming aggressive about their desires and are more comfortable expressing their sexualities, I don't have a problem essaying such real life roles," she adds.

Katrina Kaif wants to get back with Salman Khan

If sources are to be believed, Katrina Kaif is only too happy to be doing 'Ek Tha Tiger' with Salman. The last film that Salman and Kat did together was Yuvraj that released way back in 2008. The two haven't shared screen space together post that.

However, with Salman's good run at the box office, and her own stars shining bright, Katrina is more upbeat about Ek Tha Tiger than she ever was. However, we hear that Katrina is also trying to convince Salman to come out with a sequel to 'Partner'.

With Salman doing so many sequels from Dabangg to Wanted and Tere Naam, Katrina is only hoping that a Partner 2 is also well underway. Talk about making hay while the sun lasts.

Katrina Kaif in Arundhati remake

If the reports are to be believed, Gemini Film Circuit, which acquired the Hindi remake rights of Tollywood's biggest blockbuster Arundhati, is considering Katrina Kaif to don the role played by Anushka in the original.

Along with her, Kareena Kapoor and Rani Mukerji's names are also doing rounds for the character, it is heard. Notably, the role in Arundhati had given a new image to Anushka, who was seen only in glamorous roles till then, and she went on to become one of the leading heroines in the South.

Arundhati, directed by Kodi Ramakrishna, starring Anushka and Sonu Sood in the lead, grossed Rs. 30 crores at the box office including Rs. 10 crores for the Tamil version. The satellite rights fetched another Rs. 7 crores.
