'Aishwarya will have twins'

Would be Grandfather Amitabh Bachchan couldn’t hide his happiness before a female contestant on ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati,’ who forecasted that his daughter-in-law- Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will have twins.

Our reliable sources revealed, “As soon as Richa (the contestant's name) sat on the hot seat, she told Big B that her family astrologer had predicted twins for Aishwarya, before she came for KBC. On hearing this, Big B couldn’t contain his happiness and smiled. He replied politely saying, ‘Jo bhi Bhagwan denge...usse accept kar lenge (Will accept whatever God will grant us).”

It seems just like the Bachchans, even their fans can’t wait to see the baby (or babies) and are busy guessing the gender and the names. As far as Richa’s family astrologer's prediction is concerned, you can catch it on KBC on September 29.

Kalki Koechlin's date with the President!

Actor Kalki Koechlin along with the stars of her upcoming film has a date with President Pratibha Patil at Delhi soon. According to sources, the President has been invited to a special event at the Formula One racing tournament that is happening soon at Delhi where Kalki is also a special guest.

Sources say that Kalki has sought for some time with the President to invite her for special screening of her film 'My Friend Pinto'. "Kalki will get a few minutes with the President along with Prateik and they would express the desire to host a special screening for the President."

"Kalki is very excited to meet the President and she is already talking about it to her friends. Let's hope that she gets to talk about some relevant issues than only inviting her for her film's screening," adds one of her friends.

I'm the panty-less girl: Yana Gupta

Controversy is her middle name and she lives up to that title with gusto. But it's Yana's sense of humour that really stands out about her.

She shrugs off her latest scandal with a laugh, saying "I'm the panty-less girl! I simply wasn't expecting the issue to blow up like that. I just thought, 'keep your legs crossed, no big deal,' but it wasn't that simple. But being in this industry, you learn that these things come and go all the time. You can stress yourself out or let them be."

That apart, Yana's had a finger in several pies so far. From modeling, to acting and now, a music album and a book. "The music album is all set to release in March. It's been described as a cross between Bjork and Norah Jones," says Yana, adding that her book will be out by December this year. "I don't want to reveal the title, but it's about how to love your body. I believe that the most important thing is to love yourself exactly the way you are."

Being in an industry where physical perfection is everything, this is a lofty ideal. "I'm not perfect," says Yana, "But then, who is? It's more about what's going on in your head than what's happening outside."

Today, as beautiful women from all over the world are taking Bollywood by storm, queueing up to do item numbers in films, Yana can content herself with the fact that she's the real deal, the woman behind the trend. "I have talent, no doubt," she agrees and adds, "But it's also about timing and meeting the right people. It's vital to be in the right place at the right time."

Yana has, on more than one occasion, talked about getting into films with more than just an item number. Is she going to take that further? "I want the right film," comes the reply promptly. "I remember meeting a director for a film in which I was supposed to be one of the main characters and he told me I didn't have many dialogues. They just wanted me to run up and down the beach in a bikini. People want to cast me for my sex appeal," she says. So what's the role she's looking for? "I want to play somebody real, who goes through really challenges. I'd prefer a completely non-glamourous role.

Usha Uthup crooning in Don 2

After singing the groovy "Darling, aankon se aankhein chaar karne do' in Vishal Bhardwaj's '7 Khoon Maaf' and also portraying the role of the maid in the movie, the cult singer, Usha Uthap, will soon be heard in Farhan Akhtar directorial venture 'Don 2'. 

The director of the movie informs, "Recorded a song with Usha Uthup for Don 2. What a voice and what amazig energy and attitude a rockstar in a kanjivaram saree!."

Aamir Khan copies Salman

Salman Khan's Yashraj Film Ek Tha Tiger unveiled its first look through a digital poster. Rather than a regular film poster the production house used the technology of the digital poster for the film. Now, Aamir is also planning to release a film poster for Reema Katgis film which will be digital.

A source reveals the idea came when Aamir saw the poster for Ek Tha Tiger and was quite impressed with the way it looked. "Aamir is thrilled with the concept of using a digital poster. He's going to sit with the creative team and work it out. Since he's hands on with every project he plans to get involved in the creative process of making the poster as well."

Bollywood Star Katrina Kaif wins her ‘no-bikini’ clause!

Now, one of the most sought after actresses in Bollywood, Katrina Kaif had kick-started her career in the industry as a “bikini-girl” in `Boom`.

The film proved to be a huge dud and so was Katrina’s bikini act. But since then Katrina has walked miles so much so that she has now started calling the shots!

Apparently, Kat has been signed for ‘Dhoom 3’ as the leading lady opposite Aamir Khan.

The earlier franchises of the film had the leading ladies sizzling in bikinis and Kat was required to do the same. But Aditya, the Yash Raj scion seems to have given in to Kat’s convictions just like he did for Ash in `Dhoom 2`.

A source informed a tabloid that Aditya had categorically told Katrina that she would be required to wear a bikini in the film. In the past too, YRF had got Esha Deol and Bipasha Basu to don the two-piece swimwear for `Dhoom` and `Dhoom 2` respectively.

“Whether they did it willingly or reluctantly, nobody knows. But Katrina was extremely reluctant,” said the source.

As reported by the tabloid, the source said, “Aditya is very fond of Katrina and they are very good friends. He had other options, including a few foreign actresses, but Katrina towered above all those options. Katrina managed to convince Aditya that it was not necessary for her to wear a bikini in the film.”

Talking about the entire bikini issue, another source said, “Aditya is not even disappointed. In fact, he is very happy that Katrina is on board. Bikini ka problem shayyad ek hi reason tha that he took so long to finalise the female lead in the film.”

Justifying Katrina’s no-bikini clause, a friend of the actress said, “Today, Katrina is a big star. She adds tremendous value to a project. She is justified in her reservations, if any, when she signs a film.”
