Don't worry, be happy! Big Brother winner, Josie Gibson is all loved up on a day out with her new boyfriend

Josie Gibson believes in what she wears as she laughs with new boyfriend, Luke on a day out

Big Brother star, Josie Gibson is wasting no time in showing the world just how smitten she is with her new man, Luke.

And 26-year-old Josie doesn't just believe that actions speak louder than words because as well as kissing her boyfriend in public, the TV presenter also spoke volumes with her clothing.

Having recently shed over three stone, Bristol-born Josie chose to wear a neon pink t-shirt with the slogan be happy emblazoned across it.

The blonde reality TV star teamed it with a pair of dark blue skinny jeans and matching pink flip flops.

She certainly seemed to believe in her quote of the day as she strolled arm in arm with 24-year-old Luke.

Kristen Stewart Joins Kate Moss At London Fashion Week

Last week at New York Fashion Week, odd front row pairings were the rage, with Nicki Minaj and Anna Wintour being the strangest coupling we would think of (did you see Nicki's bubble dress?) Well, this week at London Fashion Week, all of the buzz was when the eternally miserable Kristen Stewart showed up at the Mulberry show and was sitting front row with none other than legendary Kate Moss.

Gawkers in the show and all over the web were perplexed as to what these two could possibly have a chat about during the show, especially when Kristen doesn't really seem to care much about fashion or self presentation at all anyway. But , I have to admit that Kristen's stylists and publicist were doing it right this week, by showing her off with her new dark 'do that she's sporting while filming Snow White and the Huntsmen in London.

It's interesting to see the blogosphere going on and on about these new BFF's, some even claiming that the girls were laughing, joking and holding hands. Looking at videos though, Kristen looks just as bored and unimpressed as she usually does while Kate Moss is mostly interesting in all of the photos and press she is going leech off of Kristen. I guess it's a win-win for both?

Priyanka Chopra is pretty but snobbish: Malaysian P. M.

Malaysian prime minister Najib Razak seems to be an admirer of Bollywood films and finds actress Priyanka Chopra very pretty.

Razak said he has watched a few Hindi films, in spite of their length.
"I have seen some films, I find them quiet interesting but too long," he told visiting Indian journalists.

Razak said he had liked Shah Rukh Khan starrer Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.

And among the bevy of Bollywood beauties, former Miss World Priyanka seems to have caught his fancy.

Razak, who has met Priyanka earlier, said that he found the 29-year-old "very pretty but a little snobbish."

"I didn't find her friendly," he quipped in a lighter vein.

Anushka Sharma Want to work with Salman Khan

Bollywood Actress Anushka, 23, feels that rumours of link-up and break-up only create problems in the cordial relationship that the two actors share. The actress is sharing the screen with Ranveer in Ladies vs Ricky Behl.

In a recent interview, Anushka was quoted as saying that Ranveer cannot be trusted but the actress said she was quoted out of context. "Ranveer is a very good co-actor and I have a lot of respect for him. But he's impulsive at times. That's why I once said that he can`t be taken seriously and media took it in another way.

He says something one day, and something else the next," Anushka clarified.

The actress, who debuted with Shah Rukh Khan starrer Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, is reteaming with the actor in Yash Chopra's comeback project.

"I am happy that at such a young age I will be doing a film with three big shots -- Yash Chopra, Shah Rukh Khan and Aditya Chopra -- in a film. It is a dream offer for any actor and I am lucky to be the one," she said.

After working with Shah Rukh and Akshay Kumar, Anushka now wants to work with Salman Khan. "I have been very fortunate that I am getting to work with good actors. I don't have to go asking for roles. I am a huge fan of Salman and would love to work with him. He has got a different energy all together and I have heard that he's a good human being too," Anushka told reporters.

Asked about the catfight brewing between her and Sonakshi Sinha over Ranveer, the actress termed it as mere gossip. "I am at a very good stage of my career and such rumours put a question mark on my upbringing. Sonakshi is a brilliant actress and she's just a film old in the industry. I wish her a lot of success," she said.

Anushka walked the ramp on the concluding day of Blenders Pride fashion tour held in Delhi as the showstopper for designer Wendell Rodricks.

"Wendell discovered me as a model and actress. When I was not a renowned face in modelling, he gave me a chance in Bangalore to walk the ramp as his showstopper and that's how we share a strong bond with each other," she said.

Kangana Ranaut desires Anna Hazare!

"I desire Anna Hazare!" Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut surprised her host Simi Garewal with this candid admission on the show India's Most Desirable.

Apparently when Kangana was asked by Simi who she thinks has redefined their status to become a symbol of desirability? She replied, "Well desirable has its own definition you know. If I have to give you a really honest answer you know and that that might just put you off, you would say you're crazy, I want to name a person, you're going to slap me on my face. I desire Anna Hazare."

On being asked how she feels about having a sense of fashion, Kangana said, "Honestly I still don't know I'm that fashionable. May be people around me just dress up bad! You know trust me, when I came to Mumbai, now today I have money I can buy the biggest brands, now it will be very sad if I dress up bad, but when I came new I hardly had money and I would just pick up anything and wear it and I would be written about. Every where. Oh we like this girl, she is so fashionable and all that. So that was a surprise for me. But sometimes I cannot understand why people dress up, it's amazing you know, they dress up so bad! Even the richest people, they wear the most expensive clothes and they dress up bad. So I've come to this conclusion that people around me dress up bad."

Finally, Amisha Patel signs a Film!

With an increasing number of reports that actor Amisha Patel was slowly getting away from signing Bollywood films and getting headlong into filmmaking, the actor has finally got a reason to cheer. Amisha has now signed a film with actor Neil Nitin Mukesh in the lead which will be made by South Indian director Susi Ganeshan.

“Amisha has signed a film with South India director Susi Ganesan. He is remaking his film Thiruttu Payale (a hit in Tamil) in Hindi with Amisha and Neil in the lead,” says a statement on behalf of the actor.

Amisha too confirmed that she has signed the film and that she is looking forward to start shooting for the film. “I am very happy to do such a thrilling film. Very excited to do a film of this genre again. It’s a very intelligent script and a step forward from the same genre of suspense thrillers that I have been part of before,” says Amisha.

“The film is a suspense thriller with an under tone of romance. It’s actually a cat and mouse chase between the two protagonists. The film was a major hit in the south doing and has done a business of over 60 crores (considered a super hit business figure for the South industry). The Hindi film is called Short Cut Romeo,” says a source.

According to sources close to the actor, Amisha decided to sign the movie because for the past few years, south remakes in Bollywood have done major business and Amisha wanted to cash in on the popularity wave of south Indian films.

“For the last two years, mostly remakes of South Indian films are being made into Hindi and are doing tremendous business... Wanted, Dabangg, Bodyguard, etc and Amisha wanted to take advantage of this wave. She has seen the original version of the movie and liked it a lot.

The advantage with south remakes is that, you already have a superhit film in your hands, all you need to do is that tweak it to fit Bollywood sensibilities in such a way that it becomes even more appealing,” the source adds.

Bollywood actors paying heavy price for on-screen machoism?

It may be all smiles for Bollywood at the BO, but personally, the stars have been fraught with health-issues one after the other. Whether it’s long-standing health problems like bad-backs or knees surfacing again or dealing with injuries on sets, it seems that these heroes are paying a heavy price for their herogiri.

First it was actor Shah Rukh Khan’s knee trouble during an awards function held abroad that made the star consider surgery. According to reports so bad was the pain that the star’s dance steps for his stage performance had to be altered to make it less painful for him.

Soon after, it was revealed that actor Hrithik Roshan’s knees too needed attention after it came to light that doing the heavy-duty action scenes had taken a toll on him physically. Then there’s superstar Rajinikanth who had to be hospitalised due to exhaustion and the shoot of his Rana with Deepika Padukone stands postponed. Actor John Abraham suffered severe injuries during the shooting of his upcomingForce and continues to work despite a fractured finger.

B-Town hunk Salman Khan too finally had surgery in the US to treat his Trigeminal Neuraglia after bearing the pain for seven years.

More recently, actors Abhishek Bachchan, Vivek Oberoi and Rana Daggubati sustained serious injuries while performing for stunts in their respective films. The otherwise superfit star Akshay Kumar too had a medical emergency recently after complaining of breathlessness after performing a rather dangerous fire stunt.

Fitness trainers and action choreographers in the industry blame it on the strenuous physical activity that these stars put their bodies too.

“Their bodies are constantly under a lot of pressure, and there’s only a certain limit that the body can take it. They work out and push their bodies to the limit, but beyond a certain point, the body will fight back. Hence the problem of bad backs and knees. This is more with action stars and applies to the fittest of the lot. Their lifestyle too doesn’t allow them the luxury of regular food and sleeping habits, so all that only adds to the stress physically,” explain fitness experts.

Action directors agree and reveal that despite the technical advancement that makes doing stunts safer, there’s always a risk involved. “Today most actors prefer doing their own stunts and things like being suspended from harness for hours can put a great strain on a body,” they add. “It’s not as easy as it looks for the stars, but with the competition, no one’s ready to go down on the knees here,” says trade analyst Komal Nahta.

Kareena Kapoor's birthday to be low-key affair

Bollywood Actress Kareena Kapoor’s birthday today will be a low-key affair. The actress along with beau actor Saif Ali Khan has postponed the big celebration to a later date due to Saif’s father Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi’s ill health.

According to sources, the actor will be shooting for a brand commercial in the first half of the day and then spend the evening with her family. The family had apparently been making elaborate plans to celebrate her birthday with a lavish party to celebrate her recent success, they have postponed it for now.

“Concerned for Saif’s father, Bebo and Saif are both in no mood to party at present. They only hope for his full recovery. It’s a sensitive issue and the mood is naturally sombre,” added the insider.

Kareena says, “We are all really worried and hope that he gets well soon.” As for her birthday, she says, “It’s the people around me who make my birthdays special, so whether it’s a lavish bash or a quiet dinner, it’s just as special for me.”

Unlike several actors, Kareena reveals that getting a year older doesn’t worry her at all. “Heroines may have a short shelf life, but actresses don’t,” she smiles. “Besides, I’m not the kinds to chalk out plans for the future. I believe in ‘living the now’ and enjoying it to the fullest. And right now, I’m in a happy space professionally and personally,” adds.

So, what’s the birthday wish going to be? “I’m working with the best in the industry, be it actors or filmmakers and I have a great guy to come back home too. What else can I ask for?” she smiles. More hits? “Hits are always welcome, but for me my happiness also has much to do with my family and friends, so just wishing for happiness always,” she signs off.

Katrina Kaif falls off her cycle while shooting with Salman Khan

Katrina shoots with Salman

Katrina Kaif has had no time to enjoy the ongoing success of her latest film Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, which has won her rave reviews from critics. Rather, the actress has been busy filming for Ek Tha Tiger in Dublin with Salman Khan.

The stills from the campus of the Trinity College Dublin show Katrina taking a stroll with Salman Khan with a bicycle by her side. It was while shooting one such scene that Katrina slipped and fell down, taking the bike along with her.

It’s hard to say if it was an accident or the fall was a part of the shoot. But there was indeed a moment of panic among the onlookers as Katrina slipped and fell down.

And, the Fall

Are Upen Patel and Riya Sen back together?

Haaye hai, what is this I'm hearing now? A little panchchi from Bandra tells me that Upen Patel is back in aamchi Mumbai and has hit the party circuit like a maniac.

And believe it or faint, he was apparently spotted getting cosy with Riya Sen at a Juhu nightclub on Thursday. Officially they were there for the launch of a shoe brand. The Sen kudi definitely knows how to live up.

Malaika Arora Khan is back With an Item Number in 'Housefull 2'

After the success of 'Munni', actor Malaika Arora Khan has been in great demand for doing item numbers. The actor, who has always been a favourite with film makers when it comes to item numbers has been getting a lot of offers post her 'Munni' act in Dabangg

She has been consciously avoiding all the offers coming her way but looks she has now decided on her next item number. Malaika will soon scorch the screen in a song for producer Sajid Nadiadwala’s Housefull 2 to be directed by Sajid Khan.

Recreating the 'Chaiyya Chaiyya' and 'Munni Badnam Hui' magic, the song will again be choreographed by Farah Khan. A source close to the actor says, “This will be the third song that Malaika and Farah will work on together. They’ve done 'Chaiyya Chaiyya' and 'Munni Badnam', both of which were the biggest chartbusters. Since they have already done so well, they are now aiming to outdo themselves with the number in Housefull 2.”

Malaika too who had her reservations about the offers coming her way, green lighted the song when she heard the concept. She is apparently very excited about the song and is hoping she is able to create the same magic that 'Munni' created on screen.

Confirming this, director Sajid Khan says, “For me Malaika is the best choice for my item song as there is no one better than her for the concept of the song. Also she and Farah have a superb track record of blockbuster songs whenever they’ve done a song together”
The producers too are super happy that she will be doing the item song as that is going to be the highlight of the film. A source from the production house says, “Malaika is like family to us and we are really privileged that she has agreed to do the song. We are hoping the song does really well.”

Mumbai court summons Madhur Bhandarkar in rape case

Spelling fresh trouble for National Award-winning film director Madhur Bhandarkar, a Mumbai court Monday issued summons against him in a 2004 rape case filed by an upcoming starlet, the complainant's lawyer said.

"The magistrate, Andheri Railway Mobile Court, today issued summons asking Madhur Bhandarkar to appear before it Oct 18 and file his statement in the case," advocate S. Kunjuraman, lawyer for the alleged victim, Pretti Jain, told IANS.

Despite repeated attempts by IANS, Bhandarkar remained unavailable for comment and did not reply to SMSes seeking his version of the developments -- later his phone was switched off.

Police earlier requested the court to dismiss the case against Bhandarkar as during their investigations they found Pretti's allegations false.

Kunjuraman said that Magistrate B.B. Pantawane Monday issued summons to Bhandarkar over Jain's complaint over offences including rape and intimidation.

In July 2004, Pretti, living in Malad suburb of north Mumbai, created a sensation after she accused Bhandarkar of rape on the pretext of giving her a lead role in his film.

Pretti alleged that she slept with Bhandarkar from 1999-2004 as he promised her a role in his films and marriage.

In a statement later, Pretti alleged: "We had sex 16 times and Madhur made promises of giving me a lead role in his films. However, he didn't offer me a lead role in any of his movies. At times when I refused, he raped me."

In September 2005, Pretti was arrested after she reportedly hired a contract killer for Rs.70,000 to murder Bhandarkar.

In January 2006, police requested the court to dismiss the case against Bhandarkar as they had found Pretti's allegations to be false.

Bhandarkar, 44, is credited with making sensitive, critically acclaimed and box-office hit films like "Chandni Bar", "Page 3", "Traffic Signal" and "Corporate".
