Shah Rukh Khan Wants A New Face To Replace Priyanka Chopra In 2 States

Chetan Bhagat’s novel ‘2 States’, which is going to make a big screen entry in Bollywood, has now got new hero, new director and may be a fresh heroine too! Initially, when Sajid Nadiadwala was the only producer for the film, Siddharth Anand was supposed to direct the movie with Priyanka Chopra and Saif Ali Khan in the lead roles.

Later Saif opted out of the project and Shah Rukh entered the scene with the dual role of a lead hero as well as of a co-producer. Now, the film will be directed by Vishal Bharadwaj of Kaminey fame. When Vishal got the project, he fled to Berlin, where SRK and Priyanka was shooting for Don 2. Both of them were impressed with Vishal’s narration and agreed to be a part of the project.

However, things changed when SRK returned home in Mumbai. He went to meet Vishal and said that Priyanka will not be suitable for the role as the story demands a fresh face. The director also agreed and thus Priyanka was out of the film.

Now, they are in search of a fresh talented face, who can do justice to the role. Well, Priyanka has already done two films with King Khan so she should not mind on this decision. It will be interesting to see who becomes lucky to get an opportunity to share screen space with Shah Rukh in 2 States.

Natalie Portman’s ‘inappropriate’ bum digitally covered with bikini in new film

Natalie Portman’s bottom has been covered up by a digital bikini in her latest movie ‘Your Highness’ after movie bosses found it ‘inappropriate.’

The original footage showed Natalie wearing a thong bikini beside a lake, reports the Daily Mail.

The trailer now shows the 29-year-old’s behind covered in a sensible pair of brown bikini bottoms.

The decision was made by Universal, who used their CGI skills to alter the scenes without having to reshoot them.

By the time the decision was made, the scenes had already been released in a trailer to promote the film, with Natalie’s behind winning plenty of column inches.

The change was spotted by a sharp-eyed reporter at Entertainment Weekly, and a source told the magazine the scene was altered so the Motion Picture Association Of American (MPAA) would approve the trailer for screening to ‘appropriate audiences’.

The film itself, rated R, will show the original, unaltered scenes when it is released next April.

‘Your Highness’ is a comedic action/adventure set in medieval times, and also stars James Franco, Danny McBride and Zooey Deschanel. (ANI)

Toonpur Ka Superrhero Review

Movie: Toonpur Ka Superrhero;

Expectations from the Ajay Devgan – Kajol starrer animation flick was high, but it failed to impress the masses in spite of bringing together the real life couple on-screen after a couple of years and being widely promoted as the first live action animation film of the country. It is the lack lustre script which is to be blamed for the doom of the film, feel critics. And giving company to the bad script is the low budget used for any animation film in India, Toonpur Ka Superrhero included.

The story revolves around Aditya Kumar, played by Ajay Devgan, who suddenly finds himself in a world surrounded by cartoons. The place is known as Toonpur and here Aditya Kumar will have to live up to his image as a strong hero by helping the good people Devtoons to fight against the villains Toonasurs.

While the concept was good, the story clearly lacks in imagination. It is the same old stuff which has been repeated in a cartoon time and again. And since this is a Bollywood production, Toonpur Ka Superrhero has every emotion that is characteristic of a Bollywood pot-boiler. All said, India’s first live action animated film is a disappointment!

Isi Life Mein Review

Isi  Life Mein is a movie which is truly inspiring for the youth. It has all the flavors of what one goes through in college life along with the various challenges that one faces through the years of growing from a youngster to an young adult.

The director Vidhi Kasliwal who is also young has created quite a magical tale of love, hate, strange feelings of awkwardness and lack of confidence which the youth are surrounded by. The element of over-confidence and the effects are also well conjectured in the format of the film which is indeed awe inspiring.

The basic storyline revolves around a group of friends in college and how each one aspires to be different from the other and yet wants to reach for the stars and succeed in life to the fullest. The basic idea outlined in the movie is that there is so much to do and so little time in hand as every dream has to be achieved in this life itself –therefore the title Isi Life Mein.

Rajnandini played by Sandeepa Dhar, is a down to earth girl who has been brought up in very traditional way with a lot of do’s and don’ts in life. As Rajnandini has to shift to the city for pursuing her studies she meets this group of friends who are very different from her friends back home.

The challenges she faces to adjust and with Vivian’s help (played by Akshay Oberoi) she overcomes her inhibitions, only to find out that every youngster has the same problems to face whether he or she comes from the village or from the city.

The movie is a great treat for the mind and the heart and like a breath of fresh air.

Sonam Kapoor: To Miss Dad’s Birthday Due To Mausam

Sonam Kapoor, the daughter of veteran star Anil Kapoor who is well known for his great stint in the Oscar winning film Slumdog Millionaire will be missing her dad’s 53rd birthday bash which falls on Christmas Eve as she is in the North of India busy shooting for Pankaj Kapoor’s movie Mausam.

Sonam Kapoor who had planned the birthday bash with her siblings sister Rhea and brother Harsh with their mom Sunita helping out too for the great preparations for the bash had planned to be in town on the 24th of December this year for her dad’s birthday, as this year the family has got together after many years and they wanted it to be an amazing party. The actress cannot fly down even for a day as reports are that there is a very important shoot in progress due to which she has not been granted permission by the film maker to leave in between.

Since Sonam Kapoor will not be able to make it to Mumbai, she has kept a constant touch with her family in order to be sure that every aspect of the surprise party is in place. The Kapoor siblings have ordered for a huge Christmas tree and reports are that it has already arrived at their front lawn.

The surprise bash has a list of special guests who have been invited by the Kapoor family which has all of Anil Kapoor’s best friends from the industry. The list includes names like Bollywood hunk Salman Khan, top film makers like Indra Kumar, Ashok Thakeria, the coveted couple Shabana Azmi and Javed Akhtar and many others.

Bollywood actresses Rani Mukerji and Vidya Balan have pulled off a new feat in front of media cameras. The normally quiet girls got naughty at a promotional event in the recent past. Well, we know that both Rani and Vidya do not shy away from playing bold roles onscreen, but that the two women could pull off such a stunt for the television camera is something that their fans were not prepared for. According to reports, Rani Mukerji and Vidya Balan engaged in a passionate lip-lock at a stage event held in the recent past.

The videos doing the rounds on the net are evidence of the fact that the earlier warring actresses Rani Mukerji and Vidya Balan have kissed and made up, literally! Ever since the promotional clips of their upcoming film together No One Killed Jessica was released on television, people started praising Rani Mukerji, considering that her character of a journalist is a more powerful role compared to Vidya Balan’s role of Jessica’s real life sister Sabrina Lal. And it was this fact that was apparently giving Vidya Balan sleepless nights, also the root cause of her catfight with costar Rani Mukerji.

However, the fight is a thing of the past now. Both actresses are professionals in real life and thus they agreed to take that extra step to promote No One Killed Jessica well. Spiderman Lands In India

Popular superhero Spiderman has come to India on a five city trip. According to reports in the media, Spiderman will be touring the cities of Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Kolkata and Hyderabad before he starts on his journey back to the United States. American cable channel Disney XD is to be credited for bringing the US superhero to India.

According to the latest reports, Spiderman has already wowed the crowd of Mumbai yesterday afternoon. In the late hours of Thursday afternoon, the huge crowds in the Prabhadevi road area of Mumbai were pleasantly surprised to see Spiderman dangling from the 33rd floor of the Beau Monde Towers building of the city. And like a true superhero, Spiderman made sure to show some of his stunts to the admiring people who were watching with eyes full of interest and happiness. In fact, the scene almost reminded us of the Hollywood Spiderman movies, where the superhero more often than not has to fly from one wall to another, while acting the savior.

Spiderman was accompanied by most of his crew members who looked after the different segments of photography, stunts and music. And Peter Parker surely did not disappoint. Not only was Spiderman seen doing stunts, he also bid farewell to the crowd by folding his hands in a ‘namaste’. Now that is what we call a real superhero! The Disney XD crew will proceed to the other Indian cities from Mumbai.

Tees Maar Khan Review

Movie Review: Tees Maar Khan;

Farah Khan tried all the industrial tricks to give a real hit during the Christmas with the hit pair Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif in Tees Maar Khan. However, all the hypes created around ‘Sheila Ki Jawani’ could not safeguard this latest Farah Khan flick.

Akshaye Khanna plays a superstar Aatish Kapoor, who dreams to win an Academy Award one day. Katrina is a wannabe actress Anya, who also happens to be the girlfriend of Tees Maar Khan (Akshay Kumar). The conman disguised as a Hollywood filmmaker ‘Tees Maar Khan’ plans a big train robbery of 10, 000 kilograms of antiques and goes for a fake shooting of a film. He even goes on signing Aatish Kapoor as the hero and appoints some villagers for this purpose.

But then, the viewers will scratch their hair to find logic behind Aatish signing for the act. The film does not have the typical flavor of Farah Khan films. It seems she messed up the things after signing Akshay and Katrina or more concentration went to the much talked item number ‘Sheila Ki Jawani’. The spice factor is missing and tries to go by the slapstick way.

The film is a remake of 1966 movie Caccia Alla Volpe but one change in the Hindi version is that the robbery is shifted to train than the original ship. However, Farah could play around the interesting train plot and somewhere the magic and charm got lost. It seems Sheila is the only spicy thing in the story with her raunchy choreography.
